I can't even get facebook to work at the moment, but I'll vote later on.

I can't help with reflux either, but sorry to hear it's happening.

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday. Bizarrely, they did the scan and said that there was nothing left. No idea how that happened as I certainly didn't notice it! I'm still getting a slight positive on the pregnancy test so they've taken bloods and they're going to call me next week, but the doctor says there's no need to do an ERPC as everything's going in the right direction which is a massive relief. He did say I was a mystery though.

How are you feeling today Pepper?

That's right Pistachio. Levels have dropped to 180 at the last count and need to be below 25 apparently. He looked at my ovaries and said it looked like I was getting ready to ovulate so presumably things are cranking into gear again.

StarExpat · 31/03/2011 21:27

Done :)

pepperrabbit · 31/03/2011 21:38

CF - good news on the scan, hope things are back to normal soon. Do you now have to wait for your referral for the miscarriage clinic?
Can't help on the reflux, all mine were quite sicky but in no pain, so we just caught it in a muslin
I had a disastrous day today, on the plus side I discovered there's a bug going round that starts with feeling like you've been punched in the stomach, moves onto a bad headache, then leaves you with a sore throat. So that descibes my week fairly accurately.
I was supposed to go to a team day in Birmingham today, and felt it was really important to go

I should just have stayed at home truth be told!
I leave at 6.50am to go to the office, first the bus is late, so i miss the train, this should have been a clue..
Then on the next train, I'm chatting to my friend, feeling slightly rough but functioning, I began to feel really really faint, quite shaky - it's a fast train after only one stop so couldn't get off.
Decided I was going to have to go home - got off at Waterloo, rang a colleague - burst into tears - always a bad sign, but I think they realised I was properly poorly and not just couldn't be bothered.
Anyway, got the train home, DH picked me up from the stationa nd I was back in bed by 9.20am.
Feel slightly perkier now, but have wicked sore throat, supposed to be working from home tomorrow.
Off to see if I can vote for pistachio then bed.

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/03/2011 21:39

ksal - i used a 'baby dose' thing from the nct - a syringe thing with a flat nipple/teat like head, with a little measure for giving the correct amount. I also used less liquid than it says for mixing it up, as no way would i have got the full amount into dd. and i sometimes gave it before a feed, and sometimes after. It actually doesn't make a lot of diff as it works by sitting on top of the stomach contents to stop them coming back up, and will rise to the top of the stomach even if given first.

Good news re being given the all clear re erpc cf.

Xpost cf. So glad you won't need another procedure. That must be a huge relief!

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/04/2011 10:11

That photo comp just comes down to who has the most fb friends really doesn't it, as no way is the current leader the best picture - there are several that I'd vote for before him.

I think they are all just gorgeous! :)

Honeymoonmummy · 01/04/2011 16:00

Oh CF that's such good news! Smile

The good news here is that I'm much more mobile now, I'm still taking it easy tho cos I have an excuse to DH is back at work on Weds so I need to be right for then. OUCH DS just slipped and chomped on my nipple Angry

We had second try at photoshoot today, some of the positions she wanted to try while he was asleep were inaxhievable without waking him up but got some good ones including one of me BF him, which will probably not make its way onto FB. Can't wait to see them all, she's dropping CD off in few days.

Got an nCT sale tmrw so am sending DH to get some clothes for both LOs.

Pepper, I hope you feel better soon (hugs)

Right, am off to look at this photography website!

Honeymoonmummy · 01/04/2011 16:03

Oh they'll be on FB, don't worry, apart from maybe the BF ones. She should only have got a slither of boob between my vest top pulled down and jumper pulled up so I'll see what they're like but I feel a bit weird about work colleagues seeing them.

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2011 09:10

Ooh, the photographer has put some of the pics on her FB page - they're lovely! Smile Can't wait to get the CD!

Had a crap night last night, took me a good 20-30 mins to rouse Dylan enough to feed him at midnight and ended up getting only 1 hr sleep between then and 5 Hmm

Is she sleeping during the day myjob? She must be exhausted as well Sad. What is it she wants when she wakes??
DD had been horribly sick in her cot this morning when DH went in. We tried to kid ourselves that she'd coughed too much and it was nothing.... then she threw up her milk and cheerios ... Sad.
Must be the child version of the bug I had, v depressing for Mother's Day weekend as we have loads planned as it's my niece's 18th as well.
Just waiting for the DSs to succumb.

pepperrabbit · 02/04/2011 11:35

Pepper. Never a truer word typed.

Hmm is ds not a little too young to be trying to dream sleep? Or are you trying to routine feed? No problem either way but some babies refuse to feed on mums terms only on their own.
Cant stop as I have all three demanding food. W is the loudest.
I have come on to look for dairy free muffin recipe. I have promised H&W so if I dont find one I will never hear the end of it!!!

Honeymoonmummy · 02/04/2011 12:47

He will sleep through the entire night if I dont wake him! Which, trust me, I REALLY don't have a problem with. But MW said at this age need to get some in him at least every 4 hrs so I was trying to get a feed into him before I went to sleep. My instinct is telling me to just leave him too, what do u all think? Might see what his first weigh in says on Mon and then decide.

My job, big hugs for you, is there any chance u can have a sleep in the day today?

Ronshar, re salt bath, does it really hurt a lot?? Gonna try it today.
