Grin I have a St Davids hairband for DD1 to wear to nursery. I'm sending her in, in her yellow t-shirt and green skirt and green tights with a daffy hairband for St Davids as I'm too tight to buy the proper outfit!!!!

Pingpong · 01/03/2011 07:35

Happy Birthday Pixie I hope the brood and cock spoil you today Grin St Davids St Davids St Davids

BusyMissIzzy · 01/03/2011 11:26

Happy Birthday and good luck with the scan Pixie :)

evitas · 01/03/2011 11:42

Happy Birthday Pixie !!!
Please let us know everything about the scan :)

P.s. DS is much better, thank you. Definitely it was hand foot and mouth

SiameseCatWoman · 01/03/2011 15:09

its a beautiful st Davids day here, all sunny and spring like. Washing on the line, and DD and I had a poke at some of the flowers and bushes after I picked her up from a morning session at nursery, in preperation for her starting 2 days a week nx wk, and back to work the week after. She is still not herself at nursery, and is always sat on someones lap when I get her. I hope itll improve when she increases her hours.

speaking of childcare Im narked off that I cannot complete my peer supporter training this term as there are no more childcare spaces available, despite me being on the list since last september (I didnt complete 10 wks last yr due to illness, so I was going to start again). So now i have to wait till this september - ridiculous [grr]

DD seems better in the wee dept, thanks, but still chundering every now and then which is very unlike her, she never threw up much even as a tiny baby. But she seems ok in herself.

Happy birthday pixie and babyG

blessed I hope you enjoy yourself in London, have you been before? Its a shame youll just miss our Birmingham meet up.

melk hows the tooth/gum thing?

fliss your garden looking good - Dh has finally sanctioned landscape gardeners on our pit of despair, so hopefully by summer Ill actually want to spend time in our garden.

oo running out of battery better post this quick!

Seems I was a day previous with the birthday wishes for the smallest (biggest?!) Smac. Happy birthday for tomorrow babyG!

Then there's a gap until nx wk when BMI and ICWAS littlies share a special day.

Having flicked back to check this I realise that manda's complicated relative had a tiny early baby. What happening there manda? Hope they are well.

BlueyDragon · 01/03/2011 20:46

Happy birthday Pixie and BabyG and miniScoobs!

This thread is plague ridden again, hope all mummies and daddies and babies get well soon before the men in biohazard suits come for us Alex's conjunctivitis is hopefully improving; just add molars coming through (I think I can feel at least 3 before he bites my finger off, poor baby), DH has a virus (proper, not man flu) and DD deciding all she wants is mummy not daddy - ah well, that's family life... Sigh

Two crazy bits of news for us this week : one friend is pregnant with triplets [faints] that are apparently identical [faints again]. so that's good but scary all at the same time. Sadly another friend had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. So very up and down round here.

Lots of Wine to everyone, chocolate for Pixie and Manda if MS allows, sorry no shouts but I am lav lurking and sorry to hear people are having a tough time

Flisspaps · 01/03/2011 20:49

Siamese Hooray for usable gardens. Our neighbour told me he had been admiring our garden tonight from his window - suppose after the Shed of Doom anything is an improvement. I forgot that it would be nice for the neighbours to look at too, so will have to make it extra pretty.

St DavidsSt Davids Birthday flowers for Pixie St DavidsSt Davids Glad all was well with the scan :)

PacificDogwood · 01/03/2011 21:36

Hi, all,
DS1's 8th birthday was a success even though he had to go to school ON HIS BIRTHDAY ShockWink!!
And happy birthday to Pixie and any babies I have missed. Glad new BabyPixie is ok. Re placenta praevia: we had been told, it would not be formally diagnosed before 26 weeks because the growing uterus could still 'pull is up', so they referred to mine as 'low lying placenta' (with DS2) until I was 26 weeks and it became 'Grade 4' Hmm. Anyhoo, hopefully yours will behave itself and move in the right direction.

I am finding life a bit hard at the mo and Must Curtail Time Spent On-line. I'll be around but have to be a grown-up (does not come naturally to me, believe me) and be Sensible.

BusyMissIzzy · 02/03/2011 11:55

Happy Birthday to Smacs DD and skidd's DS :)

Glad Alex's conjunctivitis is clearing up Bluey, Shock at molars and ShockShockShock at identical triplets.

Good to hear the scan went well Pixie, and I hope the placenta praevia sorts itself. Did you do anything special for your birthday yesterday?

slimmingsarahandco · 02/03/2011 13:38

Happy Birthday baby Smac and baby skid
Smac enjoy your nice meal :)

Bluey we also have molars (one is out - and another one it's on its way). Is your DS very distressed? Mine seems a little bit uncomfortable

Pixie hope the placenta will change its position. Very brave of you not having found out the baby's gender!

PD

Hope everyone is doing well
x

skidd · 02/03/2011 21:28

thank you for birthday wishes Smile am still lurking but never quite find that extra 5 minutes to actually post...

evitas DD spends periods sobbing at the moment, with her hands in her mouth :( I can feel at least two of the teeth right behind the gum, today she was much more settled so I am hoping that they have broken through and the pressure/pain has gone.

At least that means we are now more than halfway through teething, so soon we can stop covering her and us in bloody Dentinox Hmm

Flisspaps · 02/03/2011 21:33

Ooh and Happy Birthday to the babies S!

(I'm not trying to boost my post count on that thread info thing Pixie posted. Honest!) :)
