Gauchita · 11/09/2011 21:05

Ninja, we're really excited, yes. Fortunately my mum is here (again) to help us with that. M will be at nursery all day that day so that will help as well. D seems fine, he's still feeding like a champ, lots of wee and poo Grin Really hope we don't have to step into a hospital any time soon Grin He sleeps quite well I mean, compared to M I guess anyone sleeps better Grin He feeds maybe at 11 and then sleeps till 2 or 3 and then wakes up at 6. I'm shocked, to the bone actually, that I'm getting some sleep this soon Grin Really really hope I haven't jinxed this whole thing now Hmm

Aw, bless DD3, glad she wasn't too upset and the rest of the day was good for her. Wow, a sofa day doesn't sound like the usual day for an active child, she must have been shattered Grin So glad to hear the school experience is already so much better Smile

snowwombat · 11/09/2011 21:53

gauchita are you completely insane woman?please tell me your only duty will be putting ds into the car and directing removalists on the day?and that those said removalists will pack everything?

So sorry you had another trip to hospital. I don't know if this helps but z used to do some funny breathing patterns.often speeding up as she went off to sleep.
ninja here's to an uneventful morning getting the kids to school

Should be asleep, posting on ph,so will say goodnight and catch up properly tom.

Skillbo · 11/09/2011 22:44

Helloooo - just a quick one as should hit the hay soon with work and all... might also have to check the telly addicts thread for a bit of Strictly action - anyone else watching? Gooo Jason Smile

Gauchita - it might seem a bit crazy but your first house, how exciting! And if it's nearer for work etc, sounds like a good idea. And I guess, do it now while hopefully D will sleep and M is at nursery... best of luck though Smile and agree with Snow, you need to take it nice and easy and delegate everything!! Hope M isn't quite as jealous as she was but it's a lot to take in and I know, with J born on the same day and all, not sure how well she'd cope right now... not sure whether another 3 months is going to make a massive difference! Ah well, too late now! Good news about the sleeping though and long may that last - you need as much energy as you can! Sorry to hear about your trip to the hospital but hopefully put your mind to rest a little... must be so hard, just don't let it spoil these first few days with D, they go so quick as we all know Smile

Ninja - hope DD3 settles better over the next few days, hopefully that will be the only change for a while and she gets a chance to recharge those batteries!

Nice relaxing weekend - long may the lazy days continue, 14 weeks to go ....

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 12/09/2011 14:04

skillbo, yep, I'm watching Grin can't wait for it to get going properly, all those sparkly frocks. I had to laugh at them putting wotzisnametheboxer next to Russel Grant, very funny! Lulu's already got on my nerves, she was so ungracious when she found she'd got Brenden, funny for a few seconds but to refuse to go near him and keep it up for that long. Rude. Came back on mn after and saw an 'anyone but Lulu' thread Grin think there's a few threads going on strictly, have just lurked so far. 14 weeks to go, must just coincide with the finals of strictly then Grin at least you've something to relax with of an evening now!

Hi everyone, still a lady of leisure here :)

Gauchita - Glad to hear D is ok, we had an Angelcare monitor that had a sensor pad so that if N stopped breathing (pad registered motion) it would alarm, it really gave us peace of mind.

You are a brave lady moving so soon after D's arrival it can be done though, especially as you have your mum there to help you with M. We moved when N was 4 weeks old and although I did a lot of packing whilst she was sleeping I did no actual moving of stuff. DH, his uncle and my brother did all the moving and just left me with food supplies and a kettle until the last van trip whilst I breastfed, changed nappies and rested. At the other end we did the bare minimum on the day of the move, i.e. ate, set up beds and cot and made sure fridge/freezer items were in the fridge/freezer then went to sleep.

Ninja - glad to hear DD3 is settling in well despite the travel seat hiccup. She might well just be knackered from the early starts and activity increase from holidays to school time and she may pick up once she gets used to it.

Snow how is everything going re: new pad? Hope you are getting some more sleep now.

skillbo - when exactly are you due?

June2009 · 13/09/2011 08:16

hey! we're out of chicken pox hell, it is so nice to be out and about again. I feel free :D C had such a big smile yesterday when I picked her up from nursery, then we went to se some friends she had a brilliant day. (and kept taking her t-shirt off to "show her spots" Hmm.
I managed to catch up with a load of work with late nights and C @ nursery yesterday morning, office almost tidy yay!
gauchita so sorry to hear you had to go to hospital etc, I hope little D is ok now, saw the pic on facebook, awwwwww!!! SOOOO CUTE!
Good luck with the move, make sure you don't do too much. It'll be nice to be in a house, does it have a garden?
snow where are you at with the move, is that soon? No real progress on the potty front here, C did do a wee in the potty in France but it was more of a "following her around and catching wee in the potty" than her actually sitting on it iyswim. Grin. Hope Z's vomitting is getting better?
zhen and skillbo heya! Another strictly fan here, was it on on sunday as well or was that a repeat of Saturday? So far I quite like Audley Harrison. nothing to do with the fact that he is quite an attractive champion boxer... Grin. I too am going to miss Flavia's argentine tango, unless Russell Grant can pull it out of the bag. The dancer who jumped on Jason Donovan was a little bit over enthusiastic, wasn't she!

Is vene coming back from France soon? Right, time to brave the supermarket before the after school run rush. take care juners!

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 14/09/2011 12:31

afternoon all Smile

zhen, thanks, I'm sure she will, saw the teacher yesterday, she said all the children have been flagging a bit this week. How are you feeling now?

june, [yay] back into the world again!! I think sunday was a repeat of strictly, don't write Russell off, he seemed to be moving reasonably well in that dance they did, I was quite surprised. Although to be fair the argentine tango is normally nearer the end of the series . . . we shall see Smile I did laugh at Jason when she did that Grin poor guy, maybe because he seems to be one of the bigger slebs and may stay in longer? I did have to google a couple of them because I didn't have a clue who they were.

gauchita, it will get better, it's still very early days, M will settle. How are things going with the move, are you doing it yourselves again? Take it easy Smile

ZhenXiang · 14/09/2011 18:57

Yay June free at last! Have you had the lovely sunny weather we have had on and off for the last few days so that C could appreciate the outdoors again?

Went to the park this afternoon after school with my nephews and had a water balloon fight Grin. Cheered N up no end she has a bit of a cold so has been a bit clingy and grizzly today.

Feeling mostly ok here, just need to avoid certain foods such as cold milk and plantain which seem to really make me hurl. Maybe baby doesn't like them.

Hope all are ok x

Gauchita · 15/09/2011 06:04

Morning all

Up since 4.20. D woke up to feed and right when we were going back to sleep M woke up. Now in the living room watching the news, M playing with a box Hmm and D sleeping in his moses. Mum keeping us company as well.

Zhen, aw so glad you're feeling better, hope second trimester energy kicks in and you feel even better! Grin at water balloon fight in the park! Fun!!

Ninja, I discovered the concept of "man with a van" Grin I can't believe I didn't know that before! Hmm So we're hiring 2 men and a van and DH is doing the move with them, while M is at nursery, and Mum and I wait at the house with D.

June, glad you've got your freedom back! Smile The house has a garden, yes Smile Can't wait to see M running around!

Skillbo, 14 weeks! When's your exact EDD? How's J doing? Hope there hasn't been any more nightmares.

Snow, don't worry, I'll take things v v v easy on the day. We started packing with Mum a week ago, yesterday the big boxes arrived so today is book and kitchen packing day. All clothes are already packed, only toys and bathroom to do afterwards. This is pretty small so not much left to do Grin How are you doing? Flying solo this week or is DH at home? How's the move planning going?

We're in jealousy-land here. M seems to love D and gives him kisses but she's also displaying some challenging behaviour at times. She's complaining all the time and she's never been like that. It's like they took my daughter and left another one instead Grin We had a better night on Tue and last night as well, if it weren't for the 5am wake up call Hmm Fussy eating is at its highest now and on top of me being worried about it (but trying to stay calm, otherwise I know it's even worse) my mum is worried and starts saying things that worry me even more! Bless her, she doesn't do it maliciously but she starts saying things like "but she eats no protein, she needs protein every day!" " you should take her to the doctor" "you should vary her menus more" cue me nodding and sighing...

Hope everyone has a nice day today

Waves!

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 15/09/2011 11:49

morning all Smile

zhen, that sounds fun, yesterday afternoon was lovely, had all the doors and windows open again, nice to see a bit of sun again today as well. Have you told N she's going to be a big sister yet?

gauchita, really don't worry about M, she'll be fine, honest, a short period of restricted diet will do her no harm. The eating is probably connected to the jealousy, eating being the one thing she has control over when everything else is strange and new. It's also very common at the 'terrible two' stage for the exact same reason Grin What's that phrase my mil used to drive me insane with say? Oh yes, it's a phase, it will pass. It's a phase, it will pass . . . Good luck with the move, sounds like you have everything covered Smile

E still doesn't like sleeping in his room, he's a bit better but we're still losing sleep when he inevitably ends up in with us. Tries own advice, this is a phase, it will pass. This is a phase, it will pass . . .

Is anyone else looking at school nursery places yet, I know gauchita mentioned it? I was checking on the council website and it says that for a september 2012 place which is the earliest our juners can start, you have to apply by a date I've already forgotten in february. It might not be the same where everyone else is but thought it was worth a mention in case anyone is interested, gives you time to start looking round places now so that you've time to make an informed decision. I say that but where we live you're not even guaranteed a place in your closest nursery let alone one whose catchment you're outide of Hmm so no real choice there then!

dd3 has been getting very tired, she was asleep when the bus pulled up yesterday! She's swimming at school today for the first time, hope she enjoys it, she's only been with us before, at least she won't get cold, I hadn't realised the little ones use the hydrotherapy pool for their swimming so she should be ok.

Skillbo · 16/09/2011 22:22

Ninja - we've got J's name down at a couple of places as they are so limited here... we have one over the road, literally 5 minutes (at J speed) and they currently have no room for her... real shame as we really liked it. They will take her from 2yr 9 months so she could get a term in before the summer holidays but we'll have to wait and see what comes up!

Gauchita - sorry to hear M is playing up a bit, I am taking a lot of solace from Ninja's calm reassurances but I must admit I am nervous. J is still playing up quite a lot and I really thing we told J a bit too early. I still remember some things my mum said when J was first born and I ended up just grinning and bearing it - I hope you're not worrying too much, lo's can survive on surprising foods (or at least that's what I tell myself once J comes back from a weekend at Nanny's where the only thing she seems to have eaten is biscuits, grapes and chocolate!)

My due date is the 19th December so very close to Crimbo (am worried that he might stay in and leave it till Xmas as One Born Every Minute is filmed at the hospital I use and I have to go on the labour ward due to some complications I had with J... the thought of tv cameras capturing me even if they never broadcast is a bit unpleasant!!)

J still in her cot but DH started a course this week which means he's out for bedtime on a Wednesday so I have to be able to get her in which is proving harder and harder as the weeks go on. So think we're going to have to bite the bullet and do it... she's such a good sleeper (touch all bits of wood I can see) in that she goes to sleep, or at least goes quiet, about 5-10 miuntes once she's down and don't want to disrupt that! She moves around so much that think she's going to be flying out of it for ages! Ah well, need to just DO IT!

And June, totally see where you're going with the Audley thang - found myself salivating a little when he first appeared Grin - apparently there are some training videos up somewhere but haven't seen them yet! Goooo Jason!

snowwombat · 16/09/2011 23:34

Hi girls, quick post as waiting to board the plane to come home.
Z has been a star all week. Thrived on all the attention.
gauchita just let m have whatever she wants to eat. This too shall pass. Chant over and over. A is having a period of being fussy. We are just ignoring. Good luck w moving. We are going first week Oct,also using two men and s van.
ninja did dd3 enjoy her swimming. May e's sleeping improve soon.
skillbo z was due after Xmas but arrived two weeks early.sounds like the filmcrew might be a good reason to buy some comfy new pjs.
Catch up prop next week.

Hello ladies

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend! We've been quite quiet... went to a little event run by our Sure Start yesterday which was fab! Multicultural festival so lots of yummy foods, drums, henna painting, hand massages and all sorts! J was in her element, running around like a loon, but she had a great time and hence, so did we!

Today, went to visit a friend I don't see often enough and left DH at home for a bit of a break! Lovely time x

Took the side of J's cot though and bedtime tonight was a bit of a heartbreaker... she just seemed so scared and thinking about it, she's always been pretty enclosed when she's slept; swaddled, gro bags and now she's all open, she didn't like it at all! I stayed with her until she fell asleep which I obvioulsy don't want to be doing every night but it only took half an hour and before that, whenever I left the room she totally melted down Sad Feeling pretty low which seems a bit silly but for some reason, her little sad voice calling out 'Mummy' whenever I tried to leave her just broke my heart... bloody pregnancy hormones (or someone tell me this is perfectly normal!) - had a little cry on the sofa and DH is looking at me a bit Hmm as it's not really that big a change, just can't help myself!

Anyways - hope all good with you all and catch up again soon xx

Gauchita · 20/09/2011 17:22

Afternoon ladies!

Skillbo, aw, really hope these last few nights have been better for her. It's like any change, I suppose, it takes a little bit for them to get used to new things. I'd have been as teary as you Grin Glad you had a nice weekend and a good time at the festival. Oh! OBEM is great but not everyone's cup of tea on the day Grin I think they also choose and films the couples beforehand as well so if they did approach you you could always say thanks but no thanks? Wink

Snow, not long for your move either then Smile I'm chanting what you and Ninja suggested as much as I can, but sometimes Angry Yesterday M flinged her spoon and there was soup everywhere... all because she suddenly wanted to eat the broth and not the noodles or the potatoes Hmm She LOVES that soup, it's one of the few things she has these days Angry Things are easier atm as my mum is here, but she'll be gone in 13 days exactly

Ninja, we're going for a school visit on 29th Sep Smile We'd really like M to go to that one, atm, as in paper it sounds amazing. We'll see if it's as good as they say Grin How was dd3's swimming session? Did she like it?

June, hi! How are things? When's the next marathon?

All packed here, only things missing are essentials we're still using. M's wardrobe is down, as is the sofa (too big to fit through the doors). DH had to do all that sooner rather than later as he has the company's AGM this Thursday and he's really busy preparing everything for it. Great timing for the AGM, huh? Grin Now that I think of it, D's cot still needs disassembling Grin Oh well, he'll do it tonight. The move starts at 9am on Friday Smile

D's putting on the pounds Grin He was weighed on Friday and was already 4.120kg (9.08lbs) MW was happy with his weight-gain and "signed me off" HV is coming tomorrow morning.

Hope everyone is having a good week Smile

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 21/09/2011 12:23

afternoon all Smile

skillbo, that's the downside of where we live, everywhere is oversubscribed, even the crap places! How's J getting on without the side of her cot? E was up and down like a yoyo when he first went in his bed. Perfectly normal to have a few tears, our babies are growing up fast, it's another stage they've moved on from, end of an era type thing Smile although if I were you I'd be blaming everything on the hormones Grin I'd be hiding from the camera crew as well, don't blame you there, I looked and felt bloody awful after E was born, the last thing I'd have needed would be thinking about a camera popping up somewhere.

snow, how's it all going, all ready for your move?

june, good luck with the prep for your run, is it this weekend?

gauchita, big [yay] for D's weight gain, fantastic news on being signed off!!! You sound so organised for your move, must be great to have your mum around to help, bet you can't wait to be in and settled now. Will keep fingers crossed all goes smoothly on friday Smile

dd3 appears to be doing really well with her new school, she's settled much better than we thought she would Smile she loved swimming, loved all the splashing, although I'm not sure whether everyone else did! Her teacher has emailed me some photos, you can just tell she's having fun, she's not one to smile on demand!

We've been to look round a preschool for E this morning, it's the one dd3 went too and although they've moved it's still mainly the same staff and he's been to groups at this place for ages so the environment is very familiar to him as well. He was quite happy pottering about so he starts next week, just 2 mornings a week but I may get that nice hot cup of tea Grin Can't wait, I think it'll be fab for him and bring his speech on being around all the other children.

June2009 · 21/09/2011 22:17

Heya! As usual not quite enough hours in the day to keep up with mn (aka spending too much time on facebook)
Yes my half marathon is this weekend (Sunday, "Run to the beat" in Greenwich), I can't wait for it!!

gauchita good luck with the move, I'm guessing you might not have broadband straight away. M&D will love their new place :D
ninja It's really nice to see dd3 is enjoying her new school after all the crap you've been through last year. How's E with his sleeping?
C's nursery does pre-school too and they will apply for the government's 15 hours grant thingy when the time comes for us. That's when they're 3 though isn't it.(or the term after they're 3yo I think, sept 2012 for us?)
She's definitely made masses of improvement on her speech since being with older kids at nursery, a right little miss chatterbox.

skillbo perfectly normal :) C still wants me to "sleep" in her room until she falls asleep, sometimes takes over an hour...It kills me sometimes. Sometimes I fall asleep, wake up again and she is still just chatting away. . I want to d the supernanny style and put her back in her bed 100 times and one day she'll just get it and stay in but it is so much easier to just stay in the room with her. Hmm.

I'd better go before I loose this post, trying to get to bed early this week so I'm on top form Sunday! Grin. Take care juners.x

ZhenXiang · 21/09/2011 22:35

Hello everyone :)

Skillbo I hope J has settled in a bit more now to her new sleeping situation. I always used the tactic of inviting one of N's older cousins to stay whenever we moved house/changed her bed, helped her settle in much faster. Festival sounds fun, especially the food part Grin.

gauchita glad D is gaining well and that he has been signed off. You sound very organised for a woman with a new baby with all that packing done already. Good luck for the move on Friday.

ninja Great that DD3 is enjoying herself and really nice that the teacher keeps you so involved, must be a vast improvement on the last school :) Hope E enjoys himself at pre-school and that you finally get that well deserved Brew.

June Good luck for the half marathon on Sunday. The 15 hours grant is September 2012 for our little ones, seems a long way away, but I am sure the time will fly.

Well my CRB is finally here, so will be back to work soon. Hopefully not too soon as have a stinking cold and cough that is keeping me up at night. Had to sleep sitting upright last night as kept coughing when lying on my side. On the plus side, baby is very active at night so felt lots of kicking that I don't normally feel when running around with N. 17+3 today have got scan in two weeks so will hopefully find out the sex if baby co-operates Grin.

Skillbo · 22/09/2011 20:56

Hello ladies

Hope everyone has had a good week so far - it's the weekend for me now as have tomorrow off to have the gestational diabetes check which sucks a bit but it's the weekend!!

Guachita - great news about D and his growing tummy, lovely piccie on FB as well! Can't believe you're moving tomorrow - just think, this time tommorrow, you'll be in your new house, yay Smile Even though it might not seem long, hope you still get some lovely time with your Mum before she does the off!

June - best of luck for your next 'run'... sounds like it could be a really nice route but my word, 13 miles - hope you nail it. Have you done much training - actually stupid question, I don't expect you could do this without lots of training!

Zhen - hope the MS has given you a break, especially as you sound like you're going back to work soon! And it's lovely feeling those kicks again - and scans are so exciting especially if you're going to find out if they're girl or boy - any preferences?

Ninja - it is scary just how quick they are growing up - and you're watching 5 of them do it! Very exciting that E will be going to nursery for a couple of mornings, give you a chance to get those feet up for a change! Great news about DD3 as well - must be a big relief

J seems to be getting the hang of the bed thing but it is hard... she gets up a couple of times before she just whinges in her bed for about 5 minutes and then drops off... she didn't get up in the middle of the night last night, just whinged for a bit... I do worry she gets a bit chilly as she had ice for feet when she crawled in with us this morning (goodbye 8.30 starts for DH, she's through as soon as those eyes open now about 7!) Thanks for all your kind messages though - makes it nice to know I'm not the only one who struggles with this but, as you all said, it's just the next step isn't it! Ah well, get to snuggle another little one soon enough - very soon in fact, scary!

Anyways - have great weekends all whatever you end up doing Smile

Gauchita · 23/09/2011 07:46

Morning ladies,

Quick post as we're getting ready for today.

Skillbo, glad things are getting a bit easier by the day with J's bed Smile

Zhen, glad the CRB came back and you're able to go back to work as usual. Hope MS has given you a rest.

June, nope, no broadband at the new home at first. This time, though, I bought a PAYG dongle Grin so I'll be in touch. Best of luck with the race, enjoy!

Ninja, so glad to hear DD3 is adapting quickly Smile and yay for some time at home just you and a cuppa Grin I bet E will love it at nursery.

Right, surrounded by boxes and mes stuff. movers arrive at 9, we're getting rid of the last few things. Suddenly stuff comes out of every corner! Typical Grin

gauchita, best of luck for today, hope all goes as smoothly as these things can, fab that you have your mum there to help Smile

june, hope all goes well with your run, you go girl Grin

zhen, you must be pleased to have that sorted, much as I'm sure it's lovely to be home for a while it can't be easy managing without the pay. Hope you're feeling better now Smile

June2009 · 24/09/2011 14:13

thank you very much for the messages, I've downloaded an app that will change my facebook status tomorrow when the race starts (9:45am if they're on time) and if you put a message there it'll show on a big screen at the race.
Today I'm under strict orders to not do anything more than a long walk (done!). It's amazing how much time it takes just to make sure you're drinking enough water, taking your vitamins, eating the right things and generally thinking ahead for tomorrow and putting everything together. need petrol in the car as dh didn't do it when I asked yesterday.

gauchita Glad you're in your new home, good thinking about the internet.
I think there is something really special about your first christmas with a new baby, especially in your new house you're going to really enjoy it (if you're here over xmas).
I've officially made my first xmas purchase, they're doing the boxes of quality streets/heroes etc for half price in tescos at the moment. And recipe books for bil and sil. If I start now surely I shouldn't be too skint over xmas this time.

zhen Good luck with your scan in two weeks, hope baby is co-operating and you find out. Did you ever do the 3D scan?

bummer unexpected visitors, gotta go for now.

TheNinjaGooseIsOnAMission · 26/09/2011 18:00

afternoon all Smile

well that's the last time I let dh check the tv listings for me Grin will have my sequins ready for this friday instead!

june, you did brilliantly with your run, well done you!!!!!!! Hope you're feeling ok today, is dh on foot massage duties Grin We now have chocs for christmas, thanks Smile

gauchita, how's the new home going? Hope M and D are enjoying it, must be lovely to have a garden Smile

things seem to be going slightly better with E and his bed, he has a nap there during the day no problem at all, nights are still pretty hit and miss, although more hit than miss atm

ds1 and dd2 were at scout camp over the weekend, it was soooooooo quiet, they soon made up for it when they got back, both tired and moody and absolutley filthy, my poor washing machine Grin It was also dd1's 21st birthday so she came round for a visit as she's back at uni again now, she's having a party tonight with her friends, I'm so pleased she's not here for that Grin although I did threaten to go along!

hope you're all enjoying this lovely weather, supposed to get better through the week! Waves to all Smile

Skillbo · 26/09/2011 21:52

Hello all!

Just another quickie here but just wanted to also say wooohooo June, very quick time! Hope you're not suffering too much today although you're super fit now so perhaps you've just bounced back!!

Ninja - sounds like you DS and DD had a fantastic time away.. quite Envy actually as love that kind of thing.. think could be J's cup of tea as well as it's probably non-stop! And did have a mad check that I hadn't missed Strictly as don't want to miss seeing Jason in action (apparently he's struggling a little bit which just makes him more adorable in my eyes!!)

Guachita - how's the new place? All unpacked and perfect Smile? I bet it is wonderful though and it's all yours! Hope D still being a good boy and M is getting the hang of having a little brother.

Well done for starting the Christmas shopping, June - we're going into towno n Saturday to get Jazzy's as it's on sale at the mo... think we're going to get her THIS (with MIL chipping in - going to be a bit of a lean Xmas this year but that doesn't actually bother me as am just excited about meeting our new little boy and none of us really need anything!) We wanted to get a dolls house but just don't have the room so hopefully this will do the trick! Bloody love Happyland!

J seems to be doing better in her bed although tbh, I think she is just knackered and not moving about as much... only had to go through once last night (about 6ish) bit still managed to lie awake worrying about stuff.. I hate Sunday nights - never sleep easy!

Anyways - not as short as planned but will dash away now.. take it easy all Smile

June2009 · 28/09/2011 07:01

Heya thanks :) I had a brilliant day at the half marathon race (finished 2:07 which I'm over the moon with, thought it would take me just over 2:30).
It was truly well organised. The official pictures come out today, very excited.

gauchita How's M getting on with her new brother? Hope you are loving your new place, can the lovely cleaner come and help you unpack? It can take ages and be quite frustrating.
One of my friends who has a 2yo dd and 6 mo ds moved recently and when I visited her, 4 weeks in, her place was still a nightmare, their dishwasher had broken and you could see she was quite stressed and it was hard managing everything.
Our dishwasher broke last week and I was very glad to have a replacement come yesterday!
Sorry for starting the talk about christmas, I'm actually Blush that I have already bought stuff but thinking back we did start early last year and it really helped with spreading the cost out. Not sure if dad and bro can make it this year as little bro is now looking for a job.

ninja hope E's sleeping improves for you. We've got bad habits to get rid of.
C wants me to lie down on the floor in order for her to sleep. naptime and bedtime. Then she wakes up everyday between 4 and 5 and comes into our bed in between us, then either falls asleep straight away or asks for milk and then falls asleep. I have ended up finishing my night in our spare room as a result as I can't sleep when there is that many people in the bed. I find it very hard to get back to sleep and almost everytime just stay awake from then,

On a positivie note C now lets me brush her long curly hair (with tears most of the time but it's an improvement) We've had to cut some bits that were just too tangled but overall she's looking much tidier now ;) I have to let her do my hair which is also fun Grin

I can hear her calling from upstairs, better go for now, take care Juners!
