oh good one gossifer, glad he omelette works, eggs are getting to be a bit of a winner with roo too. swimming sounds cool, i must take roo again soon, we've not been for ages! & it's sooo nice isn't it

roosmum · 15/09/2005 19:12

yeah sparlover?? did you go to spar for your walk in the rain??
??

sparlover · 15/09/2005 19:16

ahhh yes, was having a popularity contest on another thread with someone who said they were more popular as they had an impersonator! so i had to make my own one up! lol

linus has just had tea of scrambled egg. have left him to mangle some toast up!

gossifer · 15/09/2005 19:16

so near so spar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gossifer · 15/09/2005 19:18

roosmum -i find that leon only eats well if he's not had any milk, i really have to make sure that that the meal replaces a feed, don't know if you're way past this stage?
also, if he don't like it, he will not eat....

gossifer · 15/09/2005 19:19

must try blueberries, great idea, leon loves things he can feed himself and chew himself
thanks!

I confess I had a giggle too about peeling blueberries !! Mind you, I was contemplating peeling grapes today which must be just as bad. I bought the blueberries instead !

Tipex - a friend of mine's baby is at a childminder and finds food in the bizarrest places when he gets home. She has gone out and bought a load of tesco value t-shirts for when he is there so she doesn't have to worry about it !

sparlover · 15/09/2005 20:50

peeling blueberries sounds even worse than peeling and deseeding tomatoes!

argh, i meant to change my name back but can't be bothered now!

he did calm down a little bit after his walk, but ended up sleeping til gone 6!!! so he has only just gone to bed. but never mind. Dp has just started an evening course in C++ so i had some company while he was out!

Linus just isn't slowing down. This evening he has decided that he only needs to hold on with one hand whilst standing!!! very scary for me... he thinks it's hilarious
It was however VERY funny watching him trying to pick something up off the floor. he fell on his bum every time!

Linus sounds much like my brother - he was walking at 9 months so watch out !! Apparently I was at 10 months but don't think dd will take after me. She is really proud of herself when she pulls herself up on me but struggling with the concept of putting her feet flat on the floor so wobbles all over the place !! She is fine Tipex - thanks for asking... still a bit spotty but am not concerned as she's still happy and fine in herself and it seems to be going down.

roosmum · 15/09/2005 20:57

yeah grapes, i have peeled those too
in leeds ikea cafe i think...
...go on hsve a larf, i am a freak i know!

sparlover · 15/09/2005 20:58

oh tipex we're like that. linus is usually just in nappy by the end of the day because there's no point putting more clothes on him.

i have no idea what has got into him lately! must be the weetabix

roosmum · 15/09/2005 21:02

hazellnut, dh's niece also walked at 9mths (& p0otty trained HERSELF! at 18mths) not to brag, just shows it's def poss! bet linus cd too!
whilst rest of feb babes are still bum glued to floor looking longingly at stuff way out of reach

no seriously roo, without being able to crawl, gets into oddest looking positions, right up on fingers & toes, dunno what he thinks he's doing!

sparlover · 15/09/2005 21:07

ooh i like the sound of potty training at 18 months!

Hazellnut · 15/09/2005 21:43

or you could just have another one to put in the nappies !!

sparlover · 15/09/2005 21:47

Spoo · 15/09/2005 22:01
