Hello Smile , back soon!

CrispyTheCrisp · 30/08/2010 19:37

Just doing bedtime. I think we have 2 sleeping beauties Smile

So far today i have designed my business logo (will post pic on private fb page 2moro when it gets sent through), spent an inordinate amount on knitwear Blush and taken the girls out for lunch.
We took them to the Thai restaurant as DD1 loves the silk dresses the waitresses wear as she says they look like princesses. Sadly only one male waiter on today so she was a bit miffed Grin

Thanks for the new thread BTW TS & i hope you have accomplished your 'you' day Smile

cyteen · 30/08/2010 19:48

Aaaahhhhhh that's better

Crisp damn you for mentioning Thai food. There's nowhere here that does a decent Thai meal :(

Took DS out to a family fun day in the park today - was nice, but as ever it took him precisely one hour to relax enough to enjoy it, which basically meant that he started having fun just as we had to leave. He also puked a load of porridge up this morning. Not sure whether it's a tummy bug or just too much extra thick cream added by mummy Blush

oopsandbabycoconuts · 30/08/2010 20:23

Evening all

Finally sat down and relaxing. We have had a fantastic day, DD1 loved it but was exhausted and was in bed at 6.50! We had a beautiful day with lots of sunshine so everyone was outside.

Dog cake went down a treat and all DD1 wanted to eat was the dog's pink tongue! DH and I have just spent a little time sitting on the bed thinking about this time 2 years ago and how tiny and fragile she was and how amazing the way she has grown, changed and become an amazing independant little girl who changes and grows every day.

Dh has another day off tomorrow so a little quiet time will be fantastic.

I bought a long wrap cardie, which would have been perfect for the wedding as I was freeeeeeeezing, a lovely cashmere jumper and a cardie for work in fake cashmere which M&S are doing. Not sure what it is made of LOL Grin

Is DS fully recovered now from his imported English disease? Blush

Hurrah for fab party oops, the cake looked amazing. Have another fun day tomorrow & see you Weds Smile

tweakers · 30/08/2010 20:56

dizzydixies · 30/08/2010 21:52

Oops - sounds WONDERFUL!

Sazz - well done you on the logo, I still haven't done mine Blush

tweakers have an order for cubes for you for Feb if you can pencil me in please?!

lovely thread TS Smile thank you

tweakers · 30/08/2010 21:58

for you dizz, course i can Grin (you'd better remind me a bit nearer the time though!)

dizzydixies · 30/08/2010 22:06

will do!! She's only 14wks but as soon as they find out the sex they'll annouce the name and that will be it Shock they did it the first time too!

tweakers · 30/08/2010 22:12

woah! that's brave! despite our protestations, mum and fil are still trying to find out what we're going to call Pea. and this is after mum has admitted that if she knew T's name in advance, she'd have tried to talk us out of it but now loves him and his name... of course!

is it the DizzTweak show tonight? where have the rest of you gone??

dizzydixies · 30/08/2010 22:21

oh no she's definate about what she wants to use. The boys name is the same one had her DD been blue!!

D calls L 'Sassy' because she can't say L and we quite like it - suits her! L announced today that she doesn't like been called Sassy and won't answer. E on the other hand has announced that she is to use her full name! I can't win!!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 30/08/2010 22:23

I'm here :)

DD2 has a cold so is snoring next to me on the sofa. Last night she breathed in, choked on snot and scared the crap out of me before vomiting up her entire evening's feed over me!

Tweaky - does Pea have cubes? If not she is probably protesting by staying put! She wants PEA cubes!

tweakers · 30/08/2010 22:24

blimey! she's a girl that knows what names she likes!

sounds like your girls are all very strong willed dizz. I wonder where on earth they get that from.... Grin

I've got T's reindeer in Pea's baby carrier at the moment...its actually really comfy. Just been for a walk to the shed to show DH and he almost wet himself laughing at me!

dizzydixies · 30/08/2010 22:26

I agree Oops! and no proper names, they have to have the letters P.E.A!!

Poor wee DD2, remember the joy of saline solution squirted up the nose!

tweakers · 30/08/2010 22:26

lol oops, no, Pea hasn't got cubes yet. She will do but I don't want to make them until she's here and we're definite about what we're going to call her!

poor little E, I hope it passes quickly

tweakers · 30/08/2010 22:27

dizz....we'll see!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 30/08/2010 22:29

Dizz - your girls are great!

Tweaky - must be a great look, bump, reindeer and wrap! Have you persuaded DH decided on Pea's name?

oopsandbabycoconuts · 30/08/2010 22:30

Yes, we have snotdrops as they are known in this house. P gets them and brings them to me when she has a blocked nose.

tweakers · 30/08/2010 22:34

snotdrops? eurgh!!!

i think i'm almost there with her name Wink

the funniest thing with DH and the wrap was he asked what was in there with the reindeer...erm...your daughter...DOH!!

tweakers · 30/08/2010 22:36

right, there's a comfy bed upstairs with my name on it... good night one and all

i hope DD2 is fully recovered by the morning oops

dizz...go to bed! you're on early shift tomorrow!!

ooh and not wishing to cry wolf or get anyone's hopes up but....Pea has definitely been quieter today....
