DD2 has been a sweetie today and has been coo-ing andsmiling at everyone and everything. DD1 is full of chat and charming her Uncle bubbles. Our bedroom has been papered and looks stunning but one wall has taken him most of the day thanks to his assistant who needed to have everything explained to her!

Hi all, thanks for the birthday greetings.
Have had half a bottle wine thanks to a local friend of DH we haven't seen in ages and even had the nerve to ask him to feed the pets while we're in Cornwall next week. He said yes!

Had brilliant 4hrs at arboretum with SIL and 3xDNephs inc treehouse, tardis and a bug hunt. DD spontaneously gave Kurt one of her cuddly toys as a birthday pressie bless her (as well as a decorated toilet roll tube which is her spoeciality).

Managed to fit myself and 3 kids into the bath tonight but DS1 upset because his felt tipped Astroboy belt and circuitry inspection hatch got washed off.

DH loving my fringe, am GothMILF apparently.

Buckets I am with you on the pet thing, and mine is a beloved 11-year old pussy cat, not some random hamster [bluah] Luckily my best friend is also catted-up so we take it in turns to feed while the other swans off but it is cutting into my holiday time while she is away. Poor kitty I do love him honestly, just not as much as I did before I had children

Crikey this thread is much quieter than the one two years ago I am currently up to 24 August so cyteen, oops, queenie, pf and ataraxis are imagining labour symptoms / waiting fed up for summat to happen but no more babies for our regulars for another 5 days... can't believe how quickly the last two years have flown by and am v mixed in my feelings re a possible no 3 by remembering how shite it was to bf at the beginning, and knowing that if I do manage to get pg again no way will the a/n group be anywhere near as fabulous as you lot are {grin][weeps][hugs you all]

LWFH you can get iplayer if you get a UK IP address - there are a few companies who 'sell' them for a monthly fee. I did it for a while just before DS and when he was very little so I had something 'decent' to watch whilst feeding. We get cbeebies now and TV is slowly getting better so I haven't really bothered since.

Hotter I haven't looked back yet. I think I was trying to enjoy my time off work which got cut rather short by DS early arrival!

Day 2 of clean today, girls loved what i have done to the playroom so far, they can actually see their toys but it still looks like a bomb has hit it!!!

We are supposed to be going to the Playday in the local park in an hour but it's really chucking down with rain . Forecast looking a bit beter after lunch but it's very disappointing.

Not much doing here. Nothing planned for today. It's like all the children's activities clash on monday, tuesday, thursday and friday. But there is nothing on on a Wednesday. I don't know why.

spring thanks, your finger crossing worked and we got a 2hr nap each

due to nappage, felt alot more human and fit enough to face toysrus with Ds to swap the moses basket mattress. DH bought wrong size but it would turn out that its the only size they sell despite us buying the basket from them only 2 yrs ago (and they still sell the same one now). lovely girl there agreed with me that it was daft. phoned customer services and she was told that they'd identified the problem and were in the process of changing the size of basket to match the mattress size they now sell. yeah, great help to those of us with baskets already!! so we bought teeny tiny nappies and left

i've now found one at mothercare so i'm ordering it online. can't face another toy shop type place with DS this week!
