having a lovely holiday, but just got back to my parents after our trip to Leeds a day early as the kids and I wanted a bit of familiarity. I drove us home (not that far, but still a long way for me) and they are just in bed.

DS really didn't want me to go to work this morning - he tried to put my shoes back in the cupboard when I took them out to put them on . I wish it were that simple - no shoes = no work!

lwfh I'm afraid that No1 has had to cancel as her DS is poorly You are still very welcome of course but don't want to drag you all this way just for us, especially as you only drove home yesterday! hey ho, i was just a long day of dds being in a metal mood, "h" trying to play with them half heartedly as he was tired so frustrating for me.. {he is livingat his mates at the mo}.. but seems to be here alot.. excuse being wanting to see girlies... upshot is that he is trying too hard, sometimes not 100% in the mood to be here iykwim but is trying...

We have DH's uncle coming to do some decorating for us this week and DD1 is beside herself with excitement so woke at 5.45 and has been waiting fo him since - he is only due here at 9.30!

Well we already knew but am just confirming that lwfh and her family are all utterly gorgeous They only stayed for an hour but could have chatted to her and her lovely mum all day. Thor and T almost played together, two lovely blonde boys, and baby M is soo sweet and very laid back with the most beautiful eyes and cheeky grin. Somehow by some miracle I even managed to save enough KitschnBake brownie for them to try

hangover from hell today!!! just started mamouth clean in anticipation of dd2 early b-day party for family on sun!!

managed 5 bin bags in playroom already and that was just the cupboards .. dd2 helping in her own sweet way ..

LOTI Sounds like progress! How about you decide which would be the most helpful 'slots' for him to visit/remove a child/ren then let him choose which? Are you getting any me-time yet? Are you getting out with friends yet? Whether things work out with him or not, you need to be using this time to work on you, decide who you want to be.

Thanks for reassurance on the fringe ladies, s'all right. Actually got to dance with DH on Sat and hold hands and we got a taxi and we got a kebab LOL. Then Sunday my folks came round and we had a day hacking and stacking and now my garden doesn't look like the spooky overgrown one of the empty house next door. Doesn't look like what you'd call anice garden as we pulled out the last flower bed - we know our limitations, we just don't care enough to spend time gardening so rather lawn than a bunch of weeds and brambles. I was ruthless^ on everything I touched, my 10' bay tree is now a mere 5'. V achey and stiff together though.

hello! hotterpotter and her family are absolutely gorgeous (well, you knew that anyway!) Beautiful children, and a wonderful house, made us feel really welcome.

sooo tired, last day at work tomorrow for a year (at least) and i've got so much to do. my cover is proving to be as lovely as i thought she would be and is already joining in on all our banter.

sorry to not type more, but room is starting to spin so suspect bed would be a good idea

oh and Pea news.... she's really low, i'm getting lots of braxton hicks and DH and I had our first hypnobirth class yday Just hope she stays where she is for another week... this means we'll be able to finish the course next sunday AND it means we'll be 'allowed' to have her at home because we'll be 37weeks!!!!! how the hell did that happen???
