ALBS- Sainsbos have scuttlebugs for £16 if you're still considering one? - I got one for D yesterday

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 09:00

oh and heading home today as I start back at work tomorrow. DH texted, he is sore, tired, soaking and miserable and having to stay at the college where the walls are paper thin. They also 'forgot' to organise food for them yesterday and they missed their meal break during the night due to being tied up with something feckers do this time and time and time again He'll be home on Monday about 10am, hopefully, and will have to sleep for a week and soak his blistered feet

Dad not so bad today thank goodness so will be heading home after lunch. He has the cardiologist at 5.30pm tomorrow and DBrother is away to Spain and I'm working - not sure he would appreciate us babysitting him either and he's hardly a martyr to suffering so I'm confident he'll tell them what's going on.

2yrs ago yesterday Mum went into the hospice and I was posting from this computer heavily pregnant - how did that happen

alittlebitshy · 11/07/2010 09:15

dizzy yes i saw that yesterday when i went to to enjoy their air con.
i think we have decided not to get ones as ds will outgrown it too soon and he now seems to be getting on ok with his 3rd/4th hand trike.

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 09:30

our third hand trike is beyond use and I wasn't for buying a new one when the balance bike is waiting on her so a £16 scuttle it is haven't worked out what else to get as I have to shop for my dad too. She certainly doesn't need clothes so am considering something for her boxroom to try to make it less sparse - wee soul has only got her cot/wardrobe in it (next to all the bags of clothes that need sorting out and the quinny that needs sold

oopsandbabycoconuts · 11/07/2010 09:38

Dizzy - we got DD1 some giant Peppa pig wall stickers from amazon the are fab, stick well and come off when they have out grown the pig. We also have a princess net for over her bed.

GladioliBuckets · 11/07/2010 10:02

Red Think I'd go for black window frames - but then I am having visions of hot pink walls and glossy black/matt gunmetal grey furnishings boudoir-style which may not be your thang.

Kurt appears to have forgiven me but we'll see what tonight brings. At 8am I heard him switching on and off the blocked-up sockets that are now accessible - I had a feeling that would keep him in bed longer in the mornings.

Dizzy Poor DH, when's he going to set up his own private detective agency and have hilarious crime solving adventures with his cake baking wife and Outnumbered-style children in tow? Hope your dad behaves himself too.

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 10:12

Oops, as lovely as that all sounds if I do that for D the other two would want it and their room is exactly how I want it to be

Buckets - he's too lazy to set up anything, I can barely get him to do his diploma work for college to get him a promotion although you do paint what would be a VERY accurate image lol

nothing like a good socket, or anything else they're not allowed, to keep their interest! My lot are currently doing a conga round the downstairs with the polystyrene head my mum used to keep her wig on - no wonder the old man is having trouble breathing

GladioliBuckets · 11/07/2010 10:33

PMSL.

Just looked at your pics on FB Red and black frames at the front would definitely be v stylish in a 1920s/30s way.

TwilightSurfer · 11/07/2010 13:02

red yes, black outside. love the progress pics!

dizzy ((((((HUG))))))))

hi everyone else.

balance bank account to see if i can pay for more pilates. just realized i'd run out of classes and class starts in 2 hours.

MrsMiamla · 11/07/2010 13:14

just popped on quickly to reassure you that Pea is still in her pod (thank you whoever said that, its lovely)

TS you made me cry with your post, but thank you

CrispyTheCrisp · 11/07/2010 13:45

Gah, girls tired and whining, fighting and screaming. DD1 has weed on teh lounge floor and broken a plant tray. Gah. Save me!!!!

Off shortly to a friends to drink wine relax. Hoping to lose the DD's in their 200ft garden. TBF they may be safer there as i have already threatened to throw them off the ferry tomorrow if this behaviour continues

buckets - brilliant idea. A comedy 'Moonlighting', with kids thrown in . Let's set up a secret camera chex dixie and we'll be raking the money in

dizz polystyrene heads must be very exciting if you are 7 or under . Poor papadixie i expect his expression is something like this . Would tie in with the matching pair of faces LeGrandCrisps are currently sporting

TwilightSurfer · 11/07/2010 17:18

pilates!

OH let me just share...
yesterday we took the kids to the pool and there was a lady there with the very same bathing suit I had on. She was AT LEAST 10 years younger and I felt like I looked just good as she did. PILATES ROCKS!! BRING ON 40!!

I too would like to see the DizzyDetectiveSitcom. Anybody have time to start writing the screen play version???

OH can someone snap a picture of USHER on the sides of buses in London? The lady on BBC Radio this morning (afternoon for ya'll) said it was funny looking.

Dizzy and the Dixettes have landed. house a tip and they're all moaning but we're home

alittlebitshy · 11/07/2010 18:51

No place like home dizzy .

CaptainCaveman · 11/07/2010 19:27

dizzy is the scuttlebug on offer in store only? Am looking on line and its £24.99. Definately going to buy one for O

We were eating tea about an hour ago and O was choking on a potato, so I had to whip him out of his seat, turn him on his tummy and slap his back and ta-da, a chewed potato appeared . These children will turn me grey

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 20:20

Cece - happened across it yesterday in store for £16 red or blue only - good save on the potaoto

CaptainCaveman · 11/07/2010 20:37

must go check a sainsbos tomorrow then...cheapest online is £20 inc posting from AMazon

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 20:43

argos had them for £18 but that was last week and a special offer

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 20:44

here

MrsMiamla · 11/07/2010 20:49

i've got a split screen thing going on here... mn on the right, steam locomotive on the left. Yup, DS is still awake. He napped from 3pm to 6pm and that was after napping from 10am to 1pm earlier!!

MrsMiamla · 11/07/2010 20:49

well done cc, scary stuff

CrispyTheCrisp · 11/07/2010 20:51

ARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHH

Just had a phonecall from our friends in France to say they have accidentally taken the key home to Paris with them. So now I have to divert off route to Paris to pick them up. BollockingBollockyCrap. Extra hour on the journey, and have to drive the Peripherique on my own.

Feel like just turning round from my parents and going home. Had enough

dizzydixies · 11/07/2010 20:53

easy Sazz, easy. There is a reason for everything and we're not sure what yet but you will be fine

Miamla - DD2 is still banging about, I'm tired and have work tomorrow, should be making fecking cakes but can't till she goes over - my patience is BEYOND being tried here

CaptainCaveman · 11/07/2010 21:01

calm, ladies, and breathe.....

sazz that is a fucker but dizzy is a wise bird, everything happens for a reason

dizzy I saw the argos one but delivery makes it the same price as john lewis etc, and there are no local argos stores who have it in stock for collection . A swizz me thinks?
