thanks

Dizz - in this house presents would gladly be done away with for balloons and bubbles. She is too young to know about time frames as long as she gets her moment she will be fine. I think at this age it is more for the older siblings/parents. DD1 is getting a small puppy in a box with vet kit and something small from her sister but nothing else as she already has too much!

hotterpotter · 30/07/2010 22:08

DS isn't even having his presents etc until 5 days after his birthday! Am not taking the rocking horse camping so easier to just ignore it and have a litle party when we get home again

Hello everyone just nipping on for 2 mins as there have been ructions in the hotter house due to me ignoring DH in favour of you lot / facebook so am patching up my marriage instead, sorry! Love you all more than him

GladioliBuckets · 30/07/2010 22:13

Kurt is getting a mini duvet and bedlinen and a bucket and spade! Oh and there's a giant bubble wand from Asda too (might have to buy in another 2 though or there'll be tears.)

GladioliBuckets · 30/07/2010 22:16

Oh forgot what I came on to say - have finished my first knitted item of clothing! My little shrug is perfect (apart from a dropped stitch and a couple of wrong stitches in the ribbing), will do a photo tomorrow when I'm done up smartlike.

Thinking of getting babysitter to cut me a fringe before I go out. Am I mad? Only I'm meeting DH at this wedding do so it would be a real surprise LOL and I do live to make him laugh.

dizzydixies · 30/07/2010 22:24

do it do it do it Buckets

hotterpotter · 31/07/2010 06:20

Oh god we are downstairs already today DS woke up at 4.45 and has refused all efforts to get him to go back to sleep so I am breaking all my rules and putting a film on for hem in the hope I can snooze on the sofa...

hotterpotter · 31/07/2010 07:55

We've watched Toy Story 2 and it's not even 8 o'clock yet

oopsandbabycoconuts · 31/07/2010 08:19

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIXIEDOT have a wonderful day

MrsMiamla · 31/07/2010 08:28

oooh.... i suspect you'll all hate it but i've been window shopping and found this
i'm adding it to my list of things to shamelessly copy be inspired by

morning oops, whilst drifting off to sleep last night, i suddenly understood your comment about having two children in bed and one feeding!! I'd forgotten about your friend's little boy being there and thought you meant DD1 and DD2 were in bed but then that meant that you would be too because DD2 was feeding but you hadn't mentioned that bit i was getting all confused!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 31/07/2010 08:37

Miamla - I like the dress You totally skimmed over the fact that she had her BABY!

MrsMiamla · 31/07/2010 08:44

oh yes...baby... of course...silly me

seriously,is all well with them both?

MrsMiamla · 31/07/2010 08:45

oh and i'm very pleased that Pea decided that she didn't want to share a birthday with DS so as far as i'm concerned she can arrive whenever she's ready now. Especially since DH found the bag of newborn bits yesterday

everything seems to have shrunk though....i'm sure DS was never that small!

oopsandbabycoconuts · 31/07/2010 08:48

Yes all perfect! They were allowed to stay at home even though she was classed as premature as she was a very healthy 6lb with no complications - Dad come to collect the big brother earlier to introduce them. We may pop over later for a snuggle. I will post you all this stuff next week and you will have some tiny pink things too.

MrsMiamla · 31/07/2010 10:59

ooh thank you oops
i'm also actually planning on appliquéing a pink flower or two on my favourite blue stuff from DS
there will be a parcel in the post for you on Monday too
that's great news that they were all allowed to stay at home. sounds like she had a sensible mw

CaptainCaveman · 31/07/2010 11:47

morning gals

Happy 2nd Birthday D!

DS1 is poorly, threw up twice over our bed last night and has been retching into a bowl this morning . Poor sausage. Hope he's better for O's party tomorrow! I say party, its more like adult friends of ours coming round

GladioliBuckets · 31/07/2010 11:59

Bah. Went to Phase8 and instore sale had ended but that's good as I don't have money to spend anyway lol. The flower dress was a bit more high-necked than I would like and the slinkydinky twist-front maxi dress was just perfect except for the fact that I couldn't wear it with or without a bra. And it was £75 of course.

luckoftheirish · 31/07/2010 12:39

Happy Birthday Miniest Dizzy!!!

Cece hope ds1 feels better soon

TwilightSurfer · 31/07/2010 12:55
