Poppyknot, I love your explanation to your dd

policywonk · 07/05/2010 09:35

Oh QUITE TYV, it's maddening. 'The markets will give us until Monday.' Oh will they? Then what, they'll stage a coup?

SparklyGothKat · 07/05/2010 09:38

one more labour vote and the torys can't win

taffetacat · 07/05/2010 09:38

er, I would imagine European economic meltdown?

policywonk · 07/05/2010 09:38

People are saying D Mil or Harman. Neither has much appeal beyond Labour though. Would have thought Johnson a better compromise?

But agree, signals from Clegg are not encouraging. Apparently he's going to give a statement at 10.30

I am concerned that dd learned a few swearing words this morning I can imagine being called to have a word with teacher
I blame lack of sleep for lack of restraint

jenny60 · 07/05/2010 09:40

Have to go soon but will be back and thanks for the best company last night. I really think it was pretty ok overall. If anyone needs reminding why we hate the Tories: look at the nob standing behind Zak Goldsmith!

theyoungvisiter · 07/05/2010 09:40

Exactly PW.

"The markets will give us til Monday. And then... er... they'll give us a bit longer. Because they have to."

NoahAndTheWhale · 07/05/2010 09:40

Went to bed at 3:45 and up at 6:45. Am a little fragile this morning

So pleased about bastard BNP not getting in. So odd how, while one should never judge based on appearances, it seems to work quite nicely for so many of these candidates.

NG looked like an odious twat surrounded by thugs. So spot on really.

Do I have to trawl back to find what you all made of that bloke with his fist in the air behind gordon brown?

HUNG PARLIAMENT

Laugs · 07/05/2010 09:42

hung parliament announced

VoteRedLentil · 07/05/2010 09:42

I'm staying here too, Policy. My blood pressure shot up just reading the megalomaniac op.

I think the problem if Gordon forms a govt. with the nationalists from Scotland and Wales is that the whole legitimacy issue will be the only thing the press ever talk about and if the markets worsen Labour will lose even more support.

Labour really needed the lib dems to do better to get them across the line.

MmeLindtChocBrownies · 07/05/2010 09:42

Bucharest
I need to sleep cause I just read that you had been and posted on "megalomaniac MmeLindt's thread"

motherinferior · 07/05/2010 09:43

I have decided that Things Could Be Worse.

Mind you I crashed at 1am, in glum exhaustion.

wubblybubbly · 07/05/2010 09:43

So defo hung parliament now. I'm trying to stay positive, at least the bastards didn't get a massive majority, I couldn't have coped with that.

sfxmum · 07/05/2010 09:43
