I can't find anything that says removal of Israel. Two state solution is my understanding.

Your understanding is incorrect. What do you think they mean by a single Palestinian state covering all of historic Palestine?

Because this is what they mean https://palestinecampaign.org/resources/history/

It’s not a two state solution.

Do you now condemn this policy?

But Old Palestine is exactly that, old Jerusalem is and has always been Palestine....the other half is governed by Israel.

If the Green party have said otherwise then they are idiots and deserve what is coming. Sovereignty is defined in international law and if the Green party are talking about that then there are absolute idiots.

WinterGold · Yesterday 11:04

Meanwhile in the last week, Russia has targeted a hospital and a hospice and killed at least 38 people with possibly 50 still in the rubble. 60 Christians have been murdered following a door to door massacre in Ethiopia and a moderate Muslim cleric in Nigeria who dared question some points in the hadiths has been shot dead outside of his home by two unknown (but clearly fanatical ) gunmen.

But then no Jews, no news…

To who exactly before 1967 or before? Not many people if any at all. You are thinking of the arab areas but they were that. Not Pal areas but arab areas of Jerusalem.

Even after that not all Arabs were Pals or called themselves Pals. There are a few different indigenous arab groups that are native to the land. This push to try and label every arab a Pal and everything Pal land is ridiculous and historically incorrect.

Please don't wipe out the very rich and varied arab history of the land in a bid to relabel and make legitimate a claim to part of the land for arabs nobody here from what I have seen is denying. That is one of the major flaws of the whole Free Pal movement, the cheering on violence and racism being the first two of course.

Anyway again you are too busy trying to pick relevant points rather than focusing on the issue you first argued wrongly about

Neverstopwondering · Yesterday 11:36

I remember people arguing that Russia was not prepared to invade Ukraine then when it happened weeks later arguing that Russia had legitimate reasons to do so

Can't understand how a lot of us can see patterns of behaviour and something about to happen. Can understand from both sides a certain amount of the reason these conflicts happen. However there are many many people that will still call posts/threads alarmist or properganda then try to minimise stuff when we are correct and our analysis has been right all along

Hamas reject Israel's right to exist. Their official charters and rhetoric have historically called for the elimination of the state of Israel to establish an Islamic or Palestinian state across the entire land from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.

This policy doesn’t sound very much different from Motion A3, just the use of semantics such as “replace” rather than “eliminate”

Somehow I can’t see the Jewish citizens of this new proposed state enjoying any voting rights, or even any basic protection, if October 7 is anything to go by.

(As an aside, heartening to see this rabid individual has been suspended for a further 6 months by the GMC too.

My medical licence was suspended in November 2025. For 15 months. As a result of my advocacy for Palestine. At the behest of the UK pro-'israel' and zionist jewish lobby. Today, I had my second six-monthly review with the @gmcuk and @the_mpts. For my...

'unrepentant' isn't really the main issue here

She is totally obsessed to the point where she is a danger to any patient she has contact with and looking like she has a mental illness of some sort at this stage. In the past she would have been sacked and likely sectioned for all these crazy paranoid rants

Emilesgran · Yesterday 16:25

PurpleThistle7 · Yesterday 10:53

Well yes. Cause Hamas aren't terrorists or something.

Am super confused as to how anyone is confused by their resolution calling for 'a single Palestinian state covering all of historic Palestine' to be anything besides 'and no Israel'. Where exactly would Israel exist in your head? If you want to see their vision for the future, you can look at the Edinburgh University Justice for Palestine Society insta page - there's a map of Israel with the name Palestine on it. My daughter's teacher wears this image as a necklace. It's in the Educators for Peace propaganda being pushed into Scottish schools. Endorced by the Green party.

So total nonsense that any of this new policy isn't entirely on the assumption that Israel.. and all those annoying Jews... would cease to exist.

"So total nonsense that any of this new policy isn't entirely on the assumption that Israel.. and all those annoying Jews... would cease to exist."

At the very least, would cease to live in the area known as Palestine, same as they have had to leave Yemen, Egypt, Syria and most of the rest of the Middle East.

I don't think anyone genuinely believes that Jews would be welcome in a Muslim-majority single state - their almost total disappearance from the neighbouring Muslim majority states is strong evidence that a muslim-majority "Palestine" would be no better, and quite possibly worse, for Jews than, say, Yemen or Iraq. So I think anyone claiming it would somehow be different is disingenuous or just plain lying.

Nope not if her opinion is cuckoo and supports violent causes. She is supposed to be a professional and a care giver.

Can not imagine anyone seriously believing with all honesty her judgement towards Jewish or Israeli patients isn't impacted at this point

She hates Jewish people and is not afraid to let everyone know. If you were Jewish would you feel safe being treated by her?

The General Medical Council and the Medical Practitioners Tribunal obviously don't agree with your expert opinion, nor does the criminal justice system under which she will stand trial next year for supporting a proscribed terrorist organisation (Hamas) and multiple social media posts stirring up racial hatred against Jews.

Exactly. And her rantings and all consuming obsession with Jewish people would surely make any rational person question her judgement, whatever her profession was?

Would anyone, for example, be happy getting on an aircraft with a pilot who regularly and proudly expressed these sort of views? Both occupations hold our lives in their hands and require calm and clear thinkers, not hot head reactionaries.

Celebrating the rape, kidnap and killing people. A day babies were killing and other babies were kidnapped. A day families were burnt alive in their homes. A day teenage girls and women were raped, mutilated in their gentials with shape objects before or after being killed, breasts were cut off a few women's bodies, the lovely peaceful Hersh had his hand blown off by a grenade whilst trying to save others then was dragged into Gaza to be executed eventually

This is exactly what I look for in a doctor treating me.............

I have to say she was obviously a good looking young woman before all the bile she speaks made her look harder, bitter and well frankly uglier in general

Have seen this happen was pal flag waver locally. In the last 5 years since she has become obsessed with Israel she has started to look like the witch in the original wizard of oz film

This obsessive and all consuming mental condition they have takes a pretty hard physical toll on the body it seems

Why do you keep saying 'if that's what the Green Party have said' when that's definitely what the Green Party have said?

At their annual conference in October 2026, Green Party members passed a motion (1,022 votes to 813) titled "Zionism is racism". According to reports from BBC News and The Guardian, the policy: 1,

  • Defines Zionism as an ethnonationalist political project and a form of racism.
  • Calls for the establishment of a single democratic state across historic Palestine.
  • Reaffirms support for Palestinian liberation, the right of return, a full arms embargo against Israel, and the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. 1, 2]

Differing Perspectives and Interpretations

  • The Green Party's Position: Green Party representatives and leadership (including leader Zack Polanski) have rejected claims that the party calls for violence or the violent removal of the state, maintaining that the motion advocates for equal rights in a single democratic state rather than violence. 1]

Does not say the destruction of Israel

Ah, so they are proposing to get rid of Israel, but not by destroying it with violence.

It's not the two state solution that you thought they were proposing though, so obviously you are still against the motion?

Ha. ‘A single democratic state created by destroying the democratic state that is right there’ but definitely not the destruction of Israel? That’s some crazy mental gymnastics.

I think in their heads they just move Hamas in and then ask them to vote for Israel to disappear off the map instead of raping, torturing and murdering them like they did last time.

I'm sure they'll exercise restraint next time.
