Found this, it explains a little about her offering to hand over money and money getting moved:

Thank you. All gone a bit quiet this year.

June 2026: Split

Your Party remains an entity, but two camps have emerged within it: Grassroots Left, led by Ms Sultana, and The Many, led by Jeremy Corbyn.

The Central Executive Committee is now formed of a mixture of those loyal to Ms Sultana and Mr Corbyn, although there are more on The Many's side. Former Labour MP Laura Smith, of The Many, is the vice-chair of the party.

Thanks @Twiglets1

I struggle to find a way in which Corbyn being mentioned on a thread about Labour isn't relevant

You may wish to check the thread title.

Good point, I was on tbe Labour one earlier. Thought I was still on it.

However still all far left and within the same remit in general

Green is the new far left favourite party for students and nutters it seems. This was always Jez's fan club before as you can see by some of the older never grew out of being a student hardcore fans that adore him

If the Green Party were to implode, which is a non zero possibility, all those mad fuckers will either go back to Labour, start yet another breakaway group, or attempt to reanimate Your Party, which I predict will be subject (and I think was) to the exact same ideological impasse as the Greens.

Although with fewer advocates for Jewish people I imagine, because obviously in the old guard of the Green Party there are people who aren’t concerned about Gaza either way, but the environment. Not so much among the types we’re talking about.

noblegiraffe · 02/11/2026 11:23

Your Party is entirely relevant here because I believe the woman who proposed the Zionism is Racism policy for the Greens originally intended it for Your Party, (the antisemites who followed Corbyn out of Labour), but she gave up on that plan when they (hilariously) fell apart even before the name was confirmed.

I imagine a lot of those people currently waiting on a refund on their Your Party subscription also moved to the Greens and were likely to be among the policy supporters.

Corbyn has offered his support to Polanski over the accusations of antisemitism saying he knows what that’s like ( 👀)

I mean, it’s all the same antisemites.

What happened with all that Your Party subscription money Corbyn and Sultana fell out over? Anyone know?

Good question.

Yes, you’re right! She did. I’d forgotten that.

This might be old news, but I missed it and found this article interesting reading.

“The damage has already been profound, exposing deep splits between an ‘old guard’ and the influx of newer members – many disaffected former Labour supporters – over the policy itself as well as Polanski’s leadership and political strategy. The party’s poll ratings are on the slide”

“It is not hard to find Green figures in despair. The party is in “a very challenging place”, admits one insider in what might be termed the old guard. “It has caused a split and a significant rift.“

I think being in a challenging place is very much an understatement. I would also be concerned, as a dissident, for my safety. As hyperbolic as that might sound, the party is being taken in a transparent direction.

Hope Labour tells them to sling their hook. Not sure if they will though. The old Trots are always with Labour like some terrible ghosts of self destruction past. The union cash doesn't help with that. They have become useless doing what they were originally set up to do and what most people pay their subs for- collective bargaining, defending their members from poor employer practices, negotiating for them in disputes in favour of ideological Omnicause campaigning and being utterly useless when women are sacked for having an opinion.

Watching Trots, antisemites and Islamists falling out with one another would be quite funny, if it wasn't at the level of national politics.

Yes I saw that. The people that found Jeremy Corbyn too Far Right would probably not be that happy if Shabana Mahmoud puts her immigration reforms into place. I would say they wouldn't be too happy about Rosebank either but I'm not sure how many of them actually care that much about the environment. Increasing defence spending may be an issue for them.

Excellent!

The Labour Party has pulled out of power-sharing agreements with the Green Party in 11 local councils, after the national party adopted a policy defining Zionism as a form of racism.

Labour councillors will no longer be in coalition with the Greens in areas including Sheffield, Warwick and Lewes.

Labour Party chair Bridget Phillipson said: "Labour has been clear from the start that the "Zionism is Racism" policy crosses a line and we cannot work with any party that supports it – at any level of government."

Labour said there were local agreements in place in 18 authorities. Of those, Labour said 11 had not met the criteria it demanded.

Hopefully unraveling very quickly.

The only chance the Greens ever had of a sniff of true governance was with an alliance with Labour. Looks like they’ve well and truly blown that out of the water.

I'm a little relieved and quite surprised that Labour is holding the line on this.

Agreed.

They needed alliances with mainstream parties and none of them want to be associated with the Green party while this policy is in place.

Agree with @EdithStourton about being a little relieved and quite surprised that Labour is holding the line on this.

Zack's an idiot who still doesn't understand the damage that has been done to the Green party by members with extreme views within it.

Lashing out at Labour like a petulant teenager won't help the Greens. He has failed to recognise the difficulty of the hill they now have to climb just to regain the credibility they took for granted before this vote.

It’s behind a paywall, but the headline tells you all you need to know.

https://www.thetimes.com/uk/scotland/article/hamas-political-wing-terror-group-ross-greer-greens-dqdl66gbz

The “political wing” of Hamas should no longer be designated a terror group in the UK, the co-leader of the Scottish Greens has said.

Ross Greer, in comments that will deepen controversy over his party’s stance on the Middle East, called for a UK government decision in 2021 that banned Hamas in its entirety to be reversed. He described the designation as a “barrier to peace” and “a mistake”.

Greer said that while the military wing of Hamas should remain a proscribed terror group, its political wing, currently led by Khalil al-Hayya — who helped plot the October 7 attacks on Israel and has publicly defended the atrocities — must be “engaged with for the purposes of finding peace”.

While the Greens in England and Wales caused widespread controversy with a conference vote earlier this month that declared Zionism — the movement for a Jewish homeland — is racist, the policy has in fact been the official position of the Scottish Greens for over a decade.

Wanting to eliminate Israel but work with Hamas is certainly a look.
