You specifically mentioned subscriptions. I don’t know why it matters to you if your money isn’t involved.

Yes that is right nobody in tbe UK should be bothered about an organisation, institutions or political party having potentially dodgy finances

We should just shut up and ignore these situations

Ereshkigalangcleg · 02/11/2026 09:43

Does your knee jerk defence of anything Labour really extend to the risible omnishambles that was the seemingly now defunct “Your Party”? Really?

Neverstopwondering · 02/11/2026 09:44

The only thing I can find on it is this, which we already know

"Tensions worsened after Sultana launched an unauthorised membership portal in September 2025—raising an additional distinct pot of roughly £500,000—which Corbyn’s team denounced and advised supporters to ignore. Corbyn's camp refused to take over that separate money stream over concerns about governance and potential liabilities."

Ereshkigalangcleg · 02/11/2026 09:45

I’ve heard it all. Thanks @blossomtoes for making my morning. I guess we should shut up about Farage’s dodgy money as well.

I’m literally boggling at those posts. But still very amusing.

We have a long and comprehensive Your Party thread in FWR. I’ll post the link if anyone is interested in the whole sorry history, but it’s probably a derail here from antisemitism in the Greens, so apologies.

Your Party isn’t/wasn’t Labour. I’m not defending it. I simply don’t care. I can’t see any point of similarity between a few party subscriptions from numerous people and multi million bungs from people who are clearly buying influence.

BIossomtoes · 02/11/2026 09:42

It’s not my money. 🤷‍♀️

Reform’s donations are not your money as well.

Are you bothered about them?

I’ve already explained that.

You really haven’t 😂

Ereshkigalangcleg · 02/11/2026 09:53

Anyway, I won’t be indulging this further.

Just to say the filing history here is interesting:

Won't derail this thread but may check out other thread at some point if I get bored, thanks

I could try and find a better example for double standards, but I
will struggle.

But would still be grateful if anyone can confirm whether Sultana returned the unauthorised subscription money she was accused of withholding or whether Your Party is expected to be in action in future.

If you think they’re comparable you’ll struggle for a very long time.

I struggle to find a way in which Corbyn being mentioned on a thread about Labour isn't relevant

He literally broke the party apart, which it hasn't still fully recovered from

He is still worshipped by many a long time Labour voter

He is the post boy for far left politics of tbe type are current Labour government seem drooling over

He may no longer be in the party but his old and current dealings will always have some relevance, even if only to judge whether voters loyal to him will return to Labour at some point

You may wish to check the thread title.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 02/11/2026 10:03

And Sultana would be a prototype new Green Party member, a clueless, petulant brat who has zero integrity.

Indeed. Perhaps some MN posters still have that poster on their bedroom walls.

Found this, it explains a little about her offering to hand over money and money getting moved:

June 2026: Split

Your Party remains an entity, but two camps have emerged within it: Grassroots Left, led by Ms Sultana, and The Many, led by Jeremy Corbyn.

The Central Executive Committee is now formed of a mixture of those loyal to Ms Sultana and Mr Corbyn, although there are more on The Many's side. Former Labour MP Laura Smith, of The Many, is the vice-chair of the party.
