This one just makes up stuff in his head

However it is nice to hear someone from the Green party talking about grass and roots again 😂

The Green Party here came out in support of the Scottish primary teacher who has an organisation teaching kids to be strong Muslims so they can fight the Zios. I am disgusted by the lot of them

What percentage voted for it?

A few determined people are needed to start revolutionary change, many more are required to stand back and let it happen.

Fair to raise this. It was the co-leader of the Scottish Green Party, Ross Greer. Perhaps he doesn’t speak for all of them but none of them have condemned this. But yes - should have been more accurate that the leader of the Green Party has come out in support of this train wreck. She was honoured as a ‘local hero’ at Scottish parliament this summer as well.

WTF?

Guardian, BBC et al haven't published anything on it at all.

LeavingAtLast · 09/10/2026 13:26

They’re a bunch of fringe lunatics who are capitalising on a cause to spread antisemitism and Islamist propaganda. However, they might be fringe but they’re also dangerous - every bit as dangerous as the far right nuts.

Mothin Ali of the Green Party on the radio this morning claiming that "grass roots members" are telling him to challenge Zack Polanski for the leadership.

Of course they are Ali, of course they are...

As if it's the grass roots members that are telling him to challenge Polanski for the leadership.

Are you starting to understand yet, Zack?

Is this country really so asleep at the wheel?!

I’m no fan of Reform or Restore, but it’s becoming more and more obvious why voters are becoming drawn to them - and the mainstream politicians have only got themselves to blame. They’ve sat on their hands and appeased a specific demographic to avoid be seen as racist and admit defeat that having pushed the idea, a multicultural society doesn’t work unless all buy into British values without exception.

"This lunatic wants to end the UK and Israel sharing intelligence. I thought he was a useful idiot. Now I see he’s just an idiot."

It is, and I’m actually close to a couple of people who vote for those parties. You’re spot on. It’s easy to handwave them away as evil knuckle dragging thugs. They’re mostly just normal people who believe something is going very wrong and have lost all faith in the establishment to sort it out. Not just immigration but it’s a major flashpoint that they think has huge knock on effects.

well, well, what a surprise! What does he mean by ' grass roots'? The entryists that he and his cronies encouraged to join the GP so that they could propose and pass this motion? I hope he does win the leadership. He will never change that motion. It's also only Polanski that's stopping the Gaza Independents from joining The Greens. I think one of them called him ' deviant's. You can guess why.

The thing is, they are far Right. The only difference is c that v they use religion instead of nationalism. There is little difference in the hatred of others, the the desire for control and domination, the demonisation of other groups, the authoritarianism. The Greens, as many Hard Left groups before them have done, get bested by their own navel gazing faux intellectualism into ushering in fascism.

Mothin Ali no doubt and his cronies have planned his takeover since he shouted Allahu akbar on his win. Dave needs to watch his back because he's reaching the end of his usefulness.sorry to repeat myself.

Funny how that kind of far right is never picked up on by the hard left. They still think Queers for Palestine is a partnership waiting to happen.

Tom Peck in the Times

By the time Polanski made it to the BBC Today programme studio five hours later, the Green Party’s hypnotist-in-chief could feel his spell very rapidly wearing off. By the end of the interview, the only tit that was looking any bigger was himself.

Over 15 excruciating minutes, Zack Polanski left himself in a real state

I love Tom, so funny. No one is spared from his parody!

had to share another:

For six whole weeks, from September to mid-October, the Greens have fought a by-election in North London in which none of its many door knockers, no pun intended, have required a coat or even a light sweater. It came at the end of a ruinously hot summer. It will perhaps be remembered as a curious time for the Greens to decide they’ve outgrown the environment and are now ready for the big time, which is to say, arguing incessantly about the complexities of the Israel/Palestine question, to the benefit of absolutely no one.

WinterGold · 09/10/2026 16:53

All this just seems to confirm that this isn’t really about war, suffering and human tragedy; it’s about an opportunity to attack Jewish people.

Where are the protests on streets about the appalling treatment by the Chinese of the Uyghurs? Forced labour, euphemistically called “re-education camps” compulsory Mandarin Chinese language education, political indoctrination, and forced renunciation of religious practices, compulsory sterilisations, forced IUD insertions, forced abortions. Hundreds of thousands of children have been separated from their parents and placed into state-run boarding schools. Thousands of mosques, Islamic shrines, and traditional graveyards have been damaged, demolished, or repurposed.

But the keffiyah brigade are silent, despite the Uyghurs being Muslim.

i wonder if the pro pally protesters are even aware where their keffiyahs even come from? The vast majority are made in China - highly likely to be forced Uyghur labour!

“For the first time we not only have evidence of Uighur forced labour in manufacturing, in garment making, it’s directly about the picking of cotton, and I think that is such a game-changer.
“Anyone who cares about ethical sourcing has to look at Xinjiang, which is 85% of China’s cotton and 20% of the world’s cotton, and say, ‘We can’t do this anymore.”

Good points, @WinterGold. I also feel the same way about the situation in Sudan, and the treatment of girls and women in Afghanistan.
On these, and many other human rights abuses, these people remain silent.

Listening to Polanski this morning on Today and the News Agents podcast, I'm really concerned about the Labour Party pulling towards The Greens. Why tf, after they tanked in 2019 under Corbyn would they want to pull Left again, and so far Left, trying to undo the one thing that Kier Starmer managed to do which was get rid of all the anti semites in Labour and tell them they were not welcome. They didn't disappear they went to to The Greens, along with the old Trots expelled by Kinnock and sat on by Blair. It's just very disappointing. Kemi Badenoch who is in a worse political position explicitly distanced herself from the Hard Right Reform and Restore yet Burnham is courting the Radical Left and Radical Islam by being wishy washy on a Green policy that is openly discriminatory to British citizens.
