Stamer's lost it. He sounds like an angry lunatic in response to questions.

In response to lunacy ?

give the guy a break - he is trying to lead a strongly divided society, recover from decades of mismanagement, through one of the most dangerous and turbulent times since WW2…. And everything that he wants to do to make things better for people is scoffed and put down by people who want his job at any cost to us

i would be a little stressed and fed up in his shoes

derek89 · 11/02/2026 12:47

Agreed, he sounds very rattled and angry!

EasternStandard · 11/02/2026 12:50

Yes he did, very rattled and losing it.

Bromptotoo · 11/02/2026 12:56

Not heard but read the real time account on website of a quality newspaper.

Badenoch seemed to miss the target and wasted several of her allocation of questions.

Did you hear him scream at Ed Davey?

He made no reference to the questions. He just gave prepared shouty rants. Kemi could have skewed him better than last week. She should have ask him want didn't he know about Matthew Doyle when he made him a Lord 8 weeks ago that he knows now. A better leader of the opposition would have delivered a knock out punch.

She’s fine, she doesn’t lose it and clearly gets him shaking and shouting. He dodges all questions anyway.

A what did you know when maybe, next week perhaps.

SirChenjins · 11/02/2026 13:07

And therein lies the problem for the Tories - they haven't had a better leader in many, many years.

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 11/02/2026 13:08

He doesn’t answer any questions either.

Memories of Boris never actually answering the questions asked

She’s polling ahead of all other leaders in a head to head who would you prefer.

Any of the others would take that happily.

Exactly. Boris couldn't answer questions because he rarely understood them.

No. This government has dropped the ball repeatedly and are doing no better than the ones before. The economy has tanked because of some of the stuff they’ve brought in. And they are as prone to corruption as the last lot. Bloody disgrace.

Most noticeable, imo, was their shock at the situation being exactly as described, and proceeding to do all the things they’d tried to stop the previous administration doing.

And I’m no fan of the Tories.

Though I’m a bit of a Kemi fan, to be fair.

Sherbs12 · 11/02/2026 13:12

No screaming or lunacy evident, but certainly anger and finger pointing at Saint Ed’s hypocrisy. Starmer is often accused of being too robotic, so healthy to see some fight in him.

Is it a mumsnet scream everyone 'screams' constantly 😂😂😂

gamerchick · 11/02/2026 13:16

Personally all the grief he gets, he's doing pretty good.

I'd like to.see anyone constantly criticising doing any better at his job tbh.

HopSpringsEternal · 11/02/2026 13:17

I've had to listen, but can't see a clip of the scream? Can you share it?

KnickerlessParsons · 11/02/2026 13:18

I think he is very angry at the situation he’s in, and Mandelson in particular.
It’s good to see he does have some emotions and character but too late I think.
Usually, when politicians say they aren’t going to resign, they resign about a week later. 🙂

Nanda66 · 11/02/2026 13:19

I thought he did pretty well today. He sounded angry but passionate.

I'm not paid! or Russian. I would have thought Labour would be quieter on the Russian links now it turns out Mandelson was involved with them.

I'm more of a floating voter. I voted for Starmer for change but am incredibly disappointed and will be voting for someone else next time. It might be Reform it might to the Conversative.

According to Times Radio Starmer has now been called to talk to female MPs to defend his actions and address the boys club. Hopefully they will have an impact.
