How exactly could Zelensky cause WW3? I'm not aware of him having threatened or invaded any of his neighbouring countries?

Surely you're not pointing the finger at him because he won't roll over and play dead in response to Russia's aggression?

If we end up in WW3, Putin will be the one that started it and Trump will bear a big share of the blame. Not the man who tried to fight for the freedom of his own country.

Zelensky messed up here. He needed to show defence and gratefulness and thank Trump and the American people . In exchange for his 30 mins of extreme hat dothing, Trump could have felt like the big man and Ukraine could get a deal that protects them. Trump is, as we know, a very stable genius but he will not change or accept any questioning and to correct or argue is futile if you have no power. Macron and Starmer treated Trump the way he liked and as a result, had positive negotiations.

LifeExperience Zelensky cannot afford to be conciliatory - he is fighting a war. Starmer can be because he wants trading agreements for Britain.

Zelensky screwed the pooch today. The whole 40 minutes of the Oval presser is revealing. The discussions were going well until Z demanded American boots on the ground. That is NEVER going to happen, and was not on the agenda to be discussed, especially in front of the world's press. That's when Vance fired back telling Z he should show more gratitude and chaos ensued.

Short of crawling on the floor and kissing boots, I don't know what more Zelenskyy could have done to 'show deference and gratefulness'. He has dignity, he represents a country at war. Trump and Vance had no dignity, and have shamed America in front of the world.
