I think they will lose some of the territory that Russia is occupying, hopefully not much. The mineral deal is probably dead for now. If the US leaves completely, either Europe will have to step up hugely or Putin will end up with the minerals and the territory.

Zelensky screwed the pooch today. The whole 40 minutes of the Oval presser is revealing. The discussions were going well until Z demanded American boots on the ground. That is NEVER going to happen, and was not on the agenda to be discussed, especially in front of the world's press. That's when Vance fired back telling Z he should show more gratitude and chaos ensued.

I never thought much of Starmer, but if Zelensky had been a little more conciliatory and kept to the approved discusssion points in public, we'd likely be having a different conversation right now.

Zelensky won't have caused World War 3, no more than Poland caused World War 2. Putin will have caused it.
