It's utterly depressing. I feel for Zelensky and Ukraine.

It's utterly bizarre. Unthinkable behaviour. But that's been true of every moment of Musks Trump's presidency so far.

This actually makes me feel sick.
The total injustice is just appalling.

With Trump it is all personal. He never forgets a personal slight.

I have family in Ukraine (and some who escaped the war to come here) and it is painful to watch Ukraine and Zelensky be treated like this.

Zelensky has forced even younger men to fight in this war by passing a law last year. If you are male and Ukrainian you have no choice to put your life on the line.

How is that fair? How was that a democratic decision?

As a mother of boys I would be absolutely furious to have this forced upon my sons.

He expects every man to die for his country and for other countries to join in with putting their citizens lives down for him too.

I think he's asking for too much now. He wants everyone to fight this war forever. I wonder of Ukraine would send weapons, money and their men to defend America or the UK?

It is time for us all to stand up and be counted against such despicable behaviour as Trump and Vance displayed. Whatever you can do to demonstrate (peaceably) opposition, now is the time. Use the democracy we have to urge our elected representatives to protest against such childish, foolish, threatening behaviour. Trump is Putin’s puppet.

I suspected when Trump was drooling over Starmer it was to make it seem like the uk would be with America in its stance on Ukraine. Trump’s treatment of Zelenskyy is appalling.

Starmer managed a meeting diplomatically and avoided having Trump treat him like this, publically.
Trump was very condescending though with his ‘making him work hard for his money comments. If he had responded, it would have gone the same way as today. It must have taken some discipline to keep quiet.

IMO its not about the Ukraine terrible as it is. Its Russia that is the risk to the world and irs Russia that cannot be allowed to get away with this war.

Just shocking. Every bit of Trumps demeanor was intimidating, the prodding and looming over Zelensky - who was incredible keeping so calm.

He did. I can imagine that he has experienced stress and things that hopefully none of us will, and Trump hasn't. I feel bad for him. Trump should have called off his attack dog.

America has really gone down in my estimation. I can't believe they support this. American who aren't on the streets protesting should hang their heads in shame.

It won’t do anything. It’s a waste of time. We cannot protest against another country’s democratically elected leader.
