So does "far right" mean you're concerned about the impacts of mass immigration?

Cause I'm far right if so then!

Genuinely interested to hear what people consider as being "far right". I put it in quotation marks cause the term is so over-used incorrectly, it's actually lost all meaning.

What do you think about the message itself?

What IS the message?

Yeah. Really sensible. You've come out with no feasible solutions to immigration except to let universities close.

You're seemingly obsessed with immigrants yet you personally benefited from immigration.

Then you talk about child abuse which isn't to do with immigrants.

You're no doubt a Brexiter. Very sensible.

Ah, Brexiter, the only thing worse than being a far right bigot.

FYI many of the actual far right people I know of opposed Brexit on the grounds that it would lead to more immigration from less culturally similar areas than Europe. Which happened.

Brexit is irrelevant. The post-Brexit immigration policy (i.e. expanding it greatly to far lower skilled people) was a political choice that didn't have to be made.

BlueSilverCats · 04/01/2025 18:13

@Nordione1 did you at least reconsider your claim that Starmer ACTIVELY stopped the prosecution of rape gangs from happening?

username299 · 04/01/2025 18:14

Nordione1 · 04/01/2025 18:06

Do I, as a far right bigot, now also need to come up with a feasible immigration policy? Surely that's asking the fox to look after the chicken coop?? Gosh..OK I will give it some thought. I would probably need to involve mass deportations (including my mum..how did she sneak in?) or camps or something being a far right bigot?

Well that's what the far right bigots want to do in other countries in Europe; remigration and yes it would obviously include your mum.

In the States Trump is talking about getting rid off natural citizenship and deporting American citizens.

Brexit was created by people who wanted to get rid off immigrants. And to say that the far right didn't support Brexit is surely in jest. They didn't consider the glaring fact that immigrants would simply come from outside the EU.

Brexit is relevant if you want to talk about being sensible - those who voted for it were evidently hard of thinking. They're still voting for Farage and listening to people like Musk.

Ok great. I'm on the right track then with the far right bigotry.

Lack of action and turning a blind eye.

I'm cool with it. It's nice to finally admit it. I've always thought of myself as boringly centrist but as the left have labelled most people in this country far right bigots on a repetitive basis, it's rather lost its power. It's rather like calling people "you little tinker" now. Almost a term of endearment.

bombastix · 04/01/2025 18:39

Tbh I think it’s fair to be concerned about migration levels. They are unsustainable. We should be a lot pickier who we admit and who gets a passport. Brexit is a mess in migration terms.

Sweden and Denmark have tightened up their immigration laws. We should do the same. Migration is not just about economics.

I’m on the left politically. But I find it hard to agree that increased migration or diversity really benefits the poorest in the UK. It’s simply compounded and built in a lot of inequality over 25 years. It’s good for exploitation.

BlueSilverCats · 04/01/2025 19:00

@Nordione1 except it was his changes to the legislation that allowed CPS to prosecute some of these rapists.

Also , you claimed he actively interfered and stopped their prosecution, which is a completely different allegation to doing nothing. He did do something. Too little , too late? Possibly.

Lefty bollocks buzzword bingo update:

So far we have had the following name calling:

"Far right"
"Racist"
"Bigot"

We now only need to hear "fascist" to call house.

Over to you @username299 !

I said he was rubbish. Unfortunately as he is blocking a proper enquiry for some reason interestingly, we may never know whether he actively blocked any investigation (which I'm not sure I said but do quote if I've forgotten) in order to maintain community cohesion. Would it be something you think he might do?

Well she has got a point @username299. 😬. You have got form on the old classic lefty insult. I am a little surprised facist hasn't been thrown at someone willy nilly.

He's not blocking a proper enquiry. And as you've already been informed, the Tories rejected a national inquiry as well. Why would the Tories cover up for Starmer?

He's in charge now. If he doesn't authorise someone independent to carry out a national enquiry about the rapes of hundreds of thousands of children in the UK while he was in charge of the DPP and CPS then something is very very wrong with his government. This will be the most important national enquiry that we will have ever had, affecting the most number of people.

I have a few friends from the Nordic countries. Immigration isn't a left/right issue, or if anything, they see it as right wing to support mass immigration because it leads to lower wages, threatens workers' ability to organise, and degrades support for the welfare state which they are very proud of.

Welfare state, mass immigration, not having a deficit - pick two.

bombastix · 04/01/2025 19:18

It’s a fair point that neither Labour nor Conservatives support a further inquiry. Kemi Badenoch has had to call for something she previously rejected. The idea she would do Labour any favours is absurd.

OneAmberFinch · 04/01/2025 19:19

It is good for the working class of any country if the elites of that country feel more in common with them than they do with the elites of foreign countries.

To me this is partly why Brexit happened. The exam passing classes in England were not badly affected by increased migration. Poorer people were.

Post Brexit and now the middle classes do see it. And they are not happy either.

I am not pro Reform. Or Elon Musk for that matter. But unless we have a national conversation about migration and who comes, then you will get something very nasty that fills the space. You get riots. We need to talk about migration and what problems we have, not just economic benefits for business.

It's getting very tedious repeating the same information to you.

There have been several investigations into the grooming gangs and there was a national Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in 2022.

Starmer didn't cover up anything, if there were suspicions he had, I'm sure the Tories would have investigated.

You're simply parroting Musk.

Yes..its all over the news..the rape of white girls ignored because of who they were raped by

You don’t address the question of white people missing out on job interviews or medical treatment. Pity as I’d be interested in hearing your answer.

bombastix · 04/01/2025 19:30

Musk has his own motivations- chiefly putting in political parties who will give him public money to slim the state so he has his beak open likely a hungry bird for money.

Of course he could decide to open a facility dedicated to the trauma therapy and rehabilitation of abused children. He has the money.

But tweets are cheaper
