She's not been selected because of her personal views or intellectual ability - but more despite of these.

She's been selected by Tufton Street because she attracts attention and is willing to parrot whatever nonsense her handlers tell her to. If a boring grey man like Stride, Tugendhat or Cleverly had been chosen, nobody would have commented on MN or anywhere else. Honest Bob is just a piss-poor Farage tribute act, and Tufton Street already saw that his impact on Reform voters would be minimal.

So they've put Badenoch in place. Her job is to shout angry accusations at Starmer every Wednesday lunchtime for the next 4 years and to put her name to articles in the Mail, Express and Telegraph critical of anything and everything that Labour are doing as they try to clear up the shit-show that they've inherited from the Conservatives.
