As a more appropriate example, Comedienne Shaparak Khoursandi has reclaimed her first name as her promoters advised her it would be “too difficult” for their target audience (white westerners) to say. For years she was Shappi against her own preference for that reason.

In its manifesto, Labour pledged to “reduce net migration”. It also makes other references to controls around migration:

So, Pat McFadden isn't using his real name-Patrick-because he is trying to manipulate people who are racist towards Irish people-after all, only a few decades ago-boarding houses had signs up saying ' No Blacks, No Dogs, No Irish.

Economic migration doesn't mean what you think it means.
If someone comes here to work with a visa etc they are an economic migrant.

My point was in response to the posters incorrectly saying the left support unlimited immigration. They don't.

I don’t understand why we don’t only match what France provides illegal immigrants with. Surely if we stop the hotels, phones, pizza and benefits, they will at least give their travel a second thought?

It seems you have taken offence with my mention of the word ‘right’, where none was intended. Kemi Badenoch is very much to the right of a centre right party.
I am in no way ‘left wing’ myself, and understand and share concerns about some of the issues you mention. But I think it is clear KB is driven by ideology and towards the more extreme end, and I find that concerning.
