Steamers and the superinjunction

Starmer surely can’t survive this one?

Guido Fox guy says it’s about the ‘shape of his family’ and reveals: “We have a name. As do the Mail and the Telegraph. We have a birth certificate."

Seems the allegations are something to do with an extra marital lady plus baby.

My opinion on this is that anyone who is such a control freak as to jail people for what they say is clearly a very dark person. And the hypocrisy he’s shown about almost everything he’s ever said, also shows a very dark underbelly,

Jesus that’s a bad typo . STARMER and the superinjunction!

I think he would survive it if it was just a woman and baby story that came out. If the rumours about who the woman is are true then he won't survive that.

Zonder · 03/10/2024 04:58

I haven't heard the rumours but have you heard about Charlotte Owen?

Abstractthinking · 03/10/2024 05:01

This is really beginning to piss me off. The newspapers are going after him hard. The double standards are amazing. Boris had many affairs. There were many rumours about him and at least one extra baby. Why would a rumour about Starmer finish him off? The freebies thing is also ridiculous as he did not break any rules and did as many other policitians have done. Notice how no-one is calling for the donation system to stop?

There is no way a superinjunction. If there was a superinjunction, who ever is publishing its existance is breaking the law. Therefore it has to be made up by definition.

In my opinion, it is the right bullying starmer over tax. They are showing their ability to destroy his reptuation if he dare to take their money. It is getting more hysterical in the run up to the budget. And people are falling for it.

itsgettingweird · 03/10/2024 05:02

What rumours?

And Johnson survived having a baby under a super injunction NDA and all sorts so even if I turns out to be true that doesn't mean it's over for him.

Plus he jailed people for riling up riots based on incorrect information and racism .

Abstractthinking · 03/10/2024 05:06

My opinion on this is that anyone who is such a control freak as to jail people for what they say is clearly a very dark person.

Again such a double standard. Starmer supposedly does something that is a feature of the british legal system and it reflects badly on him. If it even happened, which it didn't. It is clearly lies.

CuriousGeorge80 · 03/10/2024 05:08

Well Starmer didn’t jail the rioters et al, did he? So that’s a silly comment.

The whole point of a superinjunction is that nobody is allowed to talk about it. So it’s probably all made up bollocks. But even if it’s true not a single Tory can have an issue with it given Boris.

UpTheMagicFarawayTree · 03/10/2024 05:11

I dont believe there is one. Just another attempt by the media to manipulate the Britiish public.

SabrinaThwaite · 03/10/2024 05:14

Isabel … is that you?

Marchitectmummy · 03/10/2024 05:40

Don't think it's a woman, it's to do witb Lord Ali, I think there is a scandal beyond the donor one.

the person alleged here to have had an affair with the Prime Minister, won a libel case after the same allegation was made by a journalist. So please don't spread any more nonsense.

Firenzeflower · 03/10/2024 05:49

Fawkes is struggling because there are no stories. Even the donor one is nothing compared to the debauched corrupt Tories. Johnson got millions from Bamford.
Even the current shower of Tory idiots are funded by random off shore Oligarchs and a far right stop net zero zealot.
It's clear there is an agenda to flood Mumsnet with this far right BS.

Guido Fawkes is as dodgy as hell. OH go crawling back to Tufton Street.

hamstersarse · 03/10/2024 05:59

It’s so interesting that people can’t hold to basic standards when it comes to ‘their side’

The problem Starmer has, which is unique to him, is he actually campaigned on cleaning up politics, being a man of integrity, someone you could trust. A normal guy.

Boris never campaigned on that, it’s a different scenario, everyone who voted for him knew his history with women and still voted for him anyway.

deception is the key word.

Far right sure has a wide definition these days. Seems to mean anyone who think Starmer is a crank

Just give it up. As other have said this is so obviously a steaming pile of fictitious billocks perpetuated by the right wing press- terrified at losing their unearned wealth in the upcoming budget.

I am thrilled and excited to have adults in charge at last.

hamstersarse · 03/10/2024 06:15

You seem so sure?
How do you know it’s bollocks?

MayaPinion · 03/10/2024 06:21

If there is a super injunction the newspapers and journalists already know about it and are not allowed to even acknowledge its existence. So if there is one rags like the Daily Heil would be breaching it by speculating on what it says - ergo, there isn't one.

itsgettingweird · 03/10/2024 06:22

hamstersarse · 03/10/2024 06:15

Because if there was a super injunction no one could even print that there was one. Let alone say they know who is involved.

MayaPinion · 03/10/2024 06:24

And Guido's sources have mostly dried up post election so he's grifting now to make his mortgage payments.

How do you know it's true? Really? This is libelllous nonsense.

Isn’t that the first rule of super injunction club?

The problem Starmer has is that the MSM / Tory interns are going after him for things that a) aren't illegal and b) were all done by the previous incumbents.

Come back when there's actually something wrong to report on.

SuePreemly · 03/10/2024 07:34

It's the definition of a nothingburger.

Can't think of other ways to smear him so make up stuff and say it loud enough and people will gossip etc

It's very old tactics. Who was it who said if you lie often enough it becomes the truth?

Ah yes, Joseph Goebbels.
