More on the meaning of Trump, the Trumpsters and Trumpism

OP posts:
claig · 25/11/2016 23:24

'if you don't mind my saying.'

You can say whatever you like. I am pointing it out for anyone who is interested in how the teams work and suggest that people watch out for it on Channel 4 News etc because my guess is that all the spinners on news channels are on message and will spread the same "fake news" message as that is obviously the new tactic to stop Trump and the people's revolution.

"post truth" hasn't done the job for the spinners, so they have moved onto "fake news".

OP posts:
Kaija · 25/11/2016 23:25

You think all news sites are real?

Kaija · 25/11/2016 23:28

Or all of them except the ones that carry stories about fake news?

Chris1234567890 · 25/11/2016 23:28

"Jill Stein is only asking for recounts in states that Trump won. She has raised lots of money."

Of course she/they are. Theyre looking for civil war. I actually didnt see this one coming. Squaring up to the Russians? yes. Possible war on foreign fields ? Yes. Squaring up to your own civilians? Well its what we're seeing here re Brexit, but clearly civil war is worth it when facing losing your elite grip.
These people would rather take their own countries down. This is really bad news, and I say that to all Clinton supporters. Dont celebrate this.

claig · 25/11/2016 23:29

'You think all news sites are real?'

How can you ask a question like that after what I have said about the teams at Channel 4 News? Of course I don't think they are all real.

OP posts:
claig · 25/11/2016 23:31

Chris, it is bad news because the elites are desperate. They already know what Trump will do to them.

OP posts:
Kaija · 25/11/2016 23:39

Quite so Claig. So you should be celebrating the fact that fake news is starting to be widely recognised and investigated. Who knows, channel 4 might turn out to have made up all its own news stories and you will be vindicated. Or not. Better to shed a little light on these things, wouldn't you say, so that everyone has a better understanding of how their news is generated and how to distinguish fact from fiction.

MissMarplesHat · 26/11/2016 00:00

Here we go again, just place marking for more of claigs ramblings.

claig · 26/11/2016 00:00

'Better to shed a little light on these things, wouldn't you say, so that everyone has a better understanding of how their news is generated and how to distinguish fact from fiction.'

I agree, then the people would see that some reports from teh Ministry of Truth were economical with the actualite, and the teams at Channel 4 News may even discover that many of the media reports about Trump were "fake news". That would be a step forward for "honest news reporting" by the teams.

OP posts:
claig · 26/11/2016 00:03

MissMarplesHat, good to see you again. Take a seat and take your hat off. We're on the Trump train and it's one helluva ride. The people are all in first class, elites are riding cattle class. Smile

OP posts:
Kaija · 26/11/2016 00:03

Maybe Claig, maybe. Of course there is nothing anywhere in the MSM that paints as disgusting and chaotic a picture of the man than his own words, so that may not be too fruitful. But you can hope.

claig · 26/11/2016 00:15

For those who miss the Trump Train, here is a reminder of the great times and laughs as Trump shook the world, confounded all the pollsters and pundits, and gave the Oxbridge teams palpitations

They dare to call it "fake news", but it was news that shook the whole world and set the elites running in panic faster than Usain Bolt himself

OP posts:
Kaija · 26/11/2016 00:23

You're a bit confused about the fake news thing, Claig. You should read up on it.

Kaija · 26/11/2016 00:29

Here again is Trump in his own tweets, as related by Jon Stewart:

Are the "teenage whizzkids" always the same ones? Or do they replace them as they reach their twenties?

Spinflight · 26/11/2016 01:12

Ah the ironic liberals are at it again.

Apparently there is news, approved by the party, and fake news which is spread by Russians.

Fake news, aka wiki leaks, is an unimpeachable source so that terribly inconvenient free speech thing must be eradicated so that the parties message gets through.

Sinister much?

And this from the same posters who have nothing to say except casting insults and comparing dictators. Scary.

claig · 26/11/2016 01:37

'Are the "teenage whizzkids" always the same ones?'

No, the elites insist that the whizzkids must be constantly renewed because only the most naive of them are capable of churning out the spin that Tony Blair and various puppets deliver to the public.

Once a "whizzkid" reaches the age of twenty, even they laugh at the spin that Blair reads out and therefore they are of no more use to the elites since they can no longer suppply Blair with the soundbites he inflicts on the public.

Once a "whizzkid" reaches twenty, the elites deem the whizzkid "past it" and usually fasttrack them for a job as a SPAD before parachuting them into a safe working class seat and inflicting them on the unsuspecting hardworking public after which they are usually fasttracked to a senior Cabinet post and set loose on the entire UK public.

If the elites feel that they are not capable of reaching even that low bar, then they are usually assigned to a media "team" where they are trained in how to pull the wool over the public's eyes and spin against Trump, Farage, the Peoples Army, Brexit and the public in general.

OP posts:
claig · 26/11/2016 01:48

It goes without saying that the "teenage whizzkids" must come from Oxbridge. The elites insist on that.

OP posts:
claig · 26/11/2016 02:02

Ed was probably a "teenage whizzkid" from Oxbridge once. And people wonder why Donald Trump thrashed the elites with all their money, media "teams" and all the rest. Just a bit of common sense, that is all it takes.

"My nine and a half weeks of Calamity Ed: Political kingmaker reveals he was aghast at the bumbling oddball he agreed to turn into an MP in a book that will rock Labour
...
For in nine and half weeks between March and May 2005, when the Winter family took Miliband into their home and orchestrated his election as MP for Doncaster North, we see the future leader almost set himself alight, buy a prayer mat to cover scorch marks to his office carpet and be out-negotiated by the Winters’ three young children.
...
In 2002, former rugby league player Winter stood for election as mayor on an anti-corruption manifesto – and won. He was invited to Downing Street and sat next to Blair at a Cabinet-style summit to reform local government.

In March 2005, then Chancellor Gordon Brown asked him to help Ed Miliband, his chief economic adviser, win Doncaster North when the sitting MP fell ill. At a secret meeting in the Treasury, Winter promised Brown he would secure the safe Labour seat for Miliband.

"Fake news, aka wiki leaks"

You think wiki leaks is fake news?

So much confusion.

Lweji · 26/11/2016 07:17

Just a bit of common sense, that is all it takes.

Yes, just stand for anti-corruption or something like that, even if that's the last thing in your mind.
Lie and manipulate through it, just to get elected. Then do whatever you want, and the electorate takes a gamble on you.
That's your description of Trump.

I also wrote much earlier that it's easier to campaign against a current government. Just criticise it. Which a candidate from your own party can't. It was in fact odd that the Republicans couldn't have capitalised more at that his stage. The Republicans simply had bad candidates and won more in spite of Trump, than because of him. In this case, all he had to do was to capitalise on the FBI declaration effect in a few key states. Which he did.

InformalRoman · 26/11/2016 07:42

Ah, that would be the same Martin Winter that presided over Doncaster Council when 7 children known to social services died of abuse or neglect, with a subsequent inquiry finding that ineffective political management was a root cause? The same Martin Winter that lost a vote of no confidence but refused to resign, that was expelled from the Labour Party because he was setting up his own group on the Council and had a petition with 11000 signatures (before e-petitions) calling for his resignation? The same Martin Winter that couldn't find a publisher so had to self publish his memoirs? Nice that he could recoup some costs from The Fail.

So no axe to grind there.

Funny that he waited 6 years to tell the world that Ed predicted the 2008 crash though, isn't it?

And there was me thinking you were so cynical about what you read in the media.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/11/2016 08:03

so whizzkids are students in their first year at Oxbridge?

Chris1234567890 · 26/11/2016 08:09

Just for clarity InformalRoman, heres the link youve just lifted your post from. If nothing else, its helpful to show sources these days.

"Apparently there is news, approved by the party, and fake news which is spread by Russians."

Yep, thats exactly it spin.

"Angela Merkel voices concern over fake news ahead of German elections

‘We should not underestimate what is happening’, warns German Chancellor"

Good tactic though Claig, they believe its working and are getting excited. Having got their EU Russian censorship bill through this week, the UK having almost got their snoopers charter through, Washington Post now supplying the world with verified 'experts' confirming Russian media outlets, guess which websites will be taken down in the next couple of months? Well you saw it here first folks. Freespeech has officially been criminalised and the "tyrannical majority" (John Major Former PM) are in the cross hairs.
