Into the final lap now after over 1 year of entertainment, education and excitement. Donald J Trump is nearly there against all expectations.

'Do you even understand that?'

No, csn you explain it again in words of one syllable if you can spell them?

OP posts:
claig · 06/11/2016 01:16

'I find it funny that you are going for the "why can't posters be nice" approach.'

I don't personally attack any poster, but if you don't want to play nice, i don't mind, I can mix it with the best of them. Go ahead.

OP posts:
claig · 06/11/2016 01:19

'You are for Trump. You KNOW what he thinks and says. You have repeated it all. And yet you think someone who disagrees with you should be "nice"??'

Yes I am for Trump, I know what he says and I have repeated it. Where does the being "nice" or not come into it?

OP posts:
Pallisers · 06/11/2016 01:19

No, csn you explain it again in words of one syllable if you can spell them?

No won't be bothered - if you don't get what I said then you aren't likely to get it after much explanation (that's ok, not everyone is able for complex debate etc)

But do you have a problem with spelling words of one syllable? Is that a Trump thing? or an anti-elite thing? Do elites spell words of one syllable? Is it a sign of the elites?

claig · 06/11/2016 01:22

'Do elites spell words of one syllable? '

I don't know, I was wondering if you were capable of it.

OP posts:
Pallisers · 06/11/2016 01:28

Look at your own post Claig with regard to spelling words of one syllable. :)

Bowing out now because I can only take so much of your posts which are stupid without any wit or humour attached.

claig · 06/11/2016 01:31

'Bowing out now'

No need to bow to me, I don't like ceremony.

Pallisers, I view Claigs intent entirely differently. How, in a world leading 'democratic' society have you ended up with these 2 candidates? (Just as how have we ended up with the farce that is now Brexitgate). My reading of Claigs posts quite simply expose how the 'system' (in both our countries) lost its way so badly, we didnt notice till we got to the last chapter. We didnt notice how powerful our political and judicial systems had become when we allowed them to be bought.

We have justice here.....but only for the wealthy. We have representation here.....but only for the highly educated. Dont blame the players, blame the game. America has a lose/lose decision to make on tuesday. Dont think the UK is in any different position for one minute. The day a former Prime Minister/President made millions in personal wealth from using that public position, was the day democracy died.

claig · 06/11/2016 01:53

Chris1234567890, I agree with you that the system is bad but I don't think it is lose/lose, I do like Trump, I do think he will be good for America and for the world because as he says "the politicians are phoney and the entire system is phoney" and he with his brash, business, can-do style will be able to change the system, change the Establishment, end the insanity, bring back common sense, end the wars and fix the economy.

He is not "bought and paid for", he is above the phoneys, so he will be able to fix it. It takes someone like him, a complete outsider in terms of politics, and a billionaire with his confidence to be able to change and fix things.

I may be wrong, maybe he will mess up or maybe he will lose, but I think he will be capable of fixing things. As he always says "politicians, all talk, no action". With Trump there will be action.

I actually agree with you Claig, I was 'broadening' the issue with regards complaints about the calibre of the candidate. It was the rocking in the corner despair of posters, I was refering to when I said, lose/lose.

I beleive that Trump cant be bought, hes wealthy enough. In a world where justice and representation has a price tag, Trumps offering to pay for the 'little man'. Even if he despises them, he despises the corrupt ruling class more. I agree he would orchestrate a change in the entire system, whether he intended to or not, and that can only be a good thing.

claig · 06/11/2016 02:11

'It was the rocking in the corner despair of posters, I was refering to when I said, lose/lose.'

Yes, I see what you mean. I didn't get that initially.

'Even if he despises them, he despises the corrupt ruling class more.'

Yes. It turns out he is more comfortable with ordinary people than with the elites like the Bushes. They call him the "blue collar billionaire" and blue collar workers get on with him easily. His sons and his daughters are the same. Really down to earth great people who can communicate at all levels. Melania is the same. He loves America and the American people and he is sick of what he calls the "losers" and "babies" and "crooks" who are running the country.

He actually likes the technicalities of building, he really gets into it. When he discusses how he built the ice rink in New York he gets into all the building details and you can see that he really digs it, not just finance and shares, but actual technology and building and materials etc

I love that people are telling claig to give it a rest, but no one says the same thing on the threads that pop up every day slagging Donald Trump.

Careful, your bias is showing. Wink

claig · 06/11/2016 02:38

Pluto30, I read on another thread that you have the vote, you are a US citizen. I think Trump is fantastic, the best thing to have hit the whole world for ages and ages. I only wish we had a Trump here who could sort our useless elites out with some Occam Razorlike sharp, brash, down-to-earth common sense. But I think only New York can produce a Trump. There are other New Yorkers like him too. There is something about New York, a real can-do down-to-earth spirit that just knocks you out and gets things done.

If Trump gets in, lots of pundits are saying if nothing else, it is going to be entertaining Smile

......and this is where we part ways :) Im never going to like him Claig, but that doesnt mean to say I wouldnt vote for him, and I do hope he wins on tuesday. Its not just an anti-Hilary sentiment either, (though she is 100 times more dangerous, as shes sly and wouldnt think twice about selling her granny) but someone, has to stand up to these people and say enoughs enough. Youve used your priviledge to disenfranchise millions of people and line your own pockets. Only Trump can do that. If he suceeds, it may be a catalyst for change here too.....I can only but hope.

claig · 06/11/2016 02:56

'If he suceeds, it may be a catalyst for change here too.....I can only but hope.'

Yes, I think there is no doubt of it because although they all insulted him and mocked him, they will all have to start grovelling and pretty sharpish and Trump won't suffer fools and we know to our cost how many fools we are unfortunate to have at the top here. The rug is going to be pulled out from under the fools and people will have to start getting along and going along with Trump and some of them won't be capable of it, the "all talk, no action" ones, so we are bound to see some common sense return here if Trump gets in.

I find it disturbing when a politician's supporters are referred to as "fans", there is something very sinister about it.

claig · 06/11/2016 03:25

It just means they like the politician a lot, like Corbyn fans. Corbyn is actually liked more than say a George Osborne because people believe that Corbyn will deliver for them and it is the same with Trump.

Yeah right he was 'attacked'. That couldn't have been any more staged. Nice try Donny, but you're no JFK. You fat narcissistic oaf.
