Thought I'd take the liberty of starting us a nice new thread as the other is getting rather full. :)

I think we need a thread to attract people. Maybe an AIBU to think you look like a frother? With a link to the blog, FB page and Twitter hashtag in a fairly short OP saying what we are about.

Yes we are still weeping and gnashing of teeth on here - we definitely need a haven. It is hard work being frothy. I'm also noticing more threads appearing in a frothy vein across the boards.

Please engage with the blog and FB by commenting, liking, sharing etc. It does make a difference.

For those who want to help but don't do Twitter or blogging:

  • "like" the Frothers FB
  • comment on Frother FB posts and share them
  • comment on the blog, add your experiences
  • pass Frothers blog on to your friends/family
  • post on here with ideas and stimulation. If you see an article that makes you froth, link here so that someone can pick it up.
  • keep this thread bumped so it appears at the top of Active Convos
  • if someone on FB or elsewhere comments on the cuts, mention the Frothers blog and the campaign

Linking in and out of the blog is always good.

sad to say i can't read 15 pages - just haven't got it in me today. can anyone give me a brief synopsis of what i've missed? i've seen the fb page as someone sent me a link but don't know where the blog is or what latest plans of action are.

sorry had a really busy weekend and am under the weather with an infection.

Ok, have added badge to blog.

If you have a WP blog, here is how to add it to yours.

Step by Step Instructions

  1. Right click on jpg logo here to save as JPG on your computer.
  1. Upload into your media - make sure you have the right size - I have 100x100.
  1. open another browser tab so that you can flick back and forth.
  1. In new tab go into dashboard, then click appearance and widgets and choose text box. Drag it over to the sidebar where you want the badge to be. Click to open and c&p the code below, replacing the second URL (saltandcaramel.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/page00011-e1323084717610.jpg) with the URL of your saved media from step 2 (still open in other tab)
  • Save and close.

That should be it. I hope.

It is a bit big. I think we should change the pale blue background to white so the logo sits in the page rather than on it IYSWIM.

I have a good froth photo we could swap the graffiti for but I have no clue how to upload.

I checked the comments Peachy I signed out and clicked on comments and it let me post fine. I selected anonymous too.
