Hello to all you #frothers
Thought I'd take the liberty of starting us a nice new thread as the other is getting rather full. :)

Need to be aware some people on my FB are complaining as frother is a nasty term for epileptic apparently. I did not know that.

Will make the logo smaller.

Have changed the colour and size of the main text, was not so easy to read the purple against the white background.

These are all in preview, so I can delete easily

I have just started following TMC on twitter.

Yes we did run it past Hunty. She said she found the term epileptic more offensive because it reduces her to a condition rather than a person.

I think any term when used in a pejorative way is offensive. I don't think this is. The intention is key and it's not a widely used term like retad or niger which are horrible nasty terms designed to hurt people in their use.

Only thing I have found is this forum which is a gamer forum.

I googled epilepsy and frothers and found more about milk frothers than anything else.

People who commented have children with epilepsy- you'd be amazed how many words people can use aS NASTY LITTLE BULLYING TOOLS WHEN THEY WANT!

Peachy I really hope we are not upsetting people. I'd like to think we're breaking any negative connotations but I am aware we are just a bunch of folk on the internet and not living with people's ignorance and cruelty daily.
