Apologies to all for the lack of summary for the last thread; but it got to over 600 messages and I think my head just exploded!!

Anyway, enough talking ..... get praying ...

ahhh hun so sorry "ALFA" to hear that " the devil is a liar" dont make this news steal the joy of the Lord remember He is our rock and we should bring all our problems to Him.

I will be praying for you that god moves in this situation!

mufti · 28/10/2009 17:45

alfa - is there no one you could ask to be there when he is there, even for a short while so you do get a little break?

MaryBS · 28/10/2009 18:04

DH is now home after being passed from pillar to post. He has to go in to the hospital every day for the next 5 days, which will cause a logistical nightmare as my licensing is on Saturday and I have to be at the cathedral all day - but I give thanks to God it is not more serious and that the hospital has it all in hand.

CaptainDippy · 28/10/2009 19:28

MN is looking all weird Is it just me!!?

Praying Mary, glad he is home for now, praying these days are easier than you anticipate. xx

Oh ALFA Boo! So hard for you and totally understand where you are coming from - I think time out from the children enriches your relationship and gives you bags more patience and tolerance. I was soooo looking forward to meeting you too. Always praying. xx

Yey SS - What's the latest??

Girls in bed .....

No it's not just you - looking wierd for me too - there's a thread (or two or three?) about it.

DH reckons we can still work something out so I can come and he's not on his own with the DS's.......I'm not convinced tbh.

DutchOma · 28/10/2009 19:51

It went off line for a few minutes at six and now it's looking all weird.

SS So glad the contracts were exchanged, when are you moving now?

Mary, I do feel that it will all be alright when it needs to be alright and still look forward to seeing you on Saturday.
My big worry is that there are more people in blue cassocks and I can't remember what you look like. It's two years since I saw you.

Agree!!! confusing layout and annoying

Mary prayers for DH, hope he is ok!

SS - Congratulations on the move!!!!!! Yahoo!!

MJIM - Prayers God can reach you to give you strength and guidance.

Prayers for the poor chap that came to our door tonight, he was very off with my reply, had to practically shove him off out of my porch. He was accusing me of literally not believing him as ligitimate, 'scuse me' all I said was "Sorry, I don't do 'doorstep charity giving' specially 700pm at night in the dark" was that rude??????

Oh sorry to be selfish, a little prayer of support, having a changing itchy mole looked at tomorrow. Just a tiddy bit nervous.

MaryBS · 29/10/2009 08:54

Praying Sooz...

That man should know better going around door to door in the dark. What if it had been an elderly person? Could have scared him/her, especially given its halloween at the end of this week

ZipadiSoozi · 29/10/2009 15:05

Ooh Mary!

AitchTwoToTangOh · 29/10/2009 15:08

hello there, would you ladies mind if i asked for a miracle? my infinitely lovely friend is on her third (and realistically last) IVF, and although she tested negative her period is late, so i was just wondering if i could prevail upon you to include her in your prayers? and small miracles like this happen every day on here, a dodgy test, testing too early, hcgs rising slowly, it's small potatoes really.

so if we could but convince God just to give her a chance, that would be great. thanks for listening.

amberlight · 29/10/2009 17:53

Prayers for everyone

CaptainDippy · 29/10/2009 21:33

bad news, i'm afraid. so a gear change on the prayers would be good, i am so terribly upset for them, it's just misery.

champs · 31/10/2009 02:52

hiya DutchOma, thanks for lovely welcome.

Oh CD, I've missed you. Such a funny and cute video, I cannot believe your cuties have grown so quickly...

adding prayers Mama2b5

thanks myjobismum! prayers for you too.

sorry it wasn't good news ATTTO, I'l be praying for your friend.

We have our youth Variety night tomoz(Sat) so prayers for that will be greatly received.

MaryBS · 31/10/2009 06:12

Sorry to hear that Aitch, my brother and SIL went through a similar experience. They now have two beautiful "forever" girls whom they adopted.

Could do with prayers please, both children have been up in the night several times, with high temps and bad dreams/terrors. I've just got back from a 5am trip to Tesco for calpol/calprofen. Don't think they'll be going. Am not sure who'll stay at home, DH or mum, or whether SIL can be persuaded to come over. Unfortunately it can't be me stay at home! I'm shattered!

DH has also got a hospital trip for his blood thinning injections which he has to do daily...

MrsJamin · 31/10/2009 06:40

Could I have a bit of prayer please, am 20wks PG and have insomnia plus a toddler who gets up at 5am every day. I've been up since 3 and I am just really down, and so so tired, I just want to cry.

DutchOma · 31/10/2009 07:37

I'm going to take all those prayer requests with me on the bus this morning.
What an opportunity the Lord is affording me:- two and a half hours chugging through Northamptonshire countryside - twice.
God is good and he is with us in joy and sorrow.
