Spring Harvest is a bit like Keswick, or New Wine, Green Belt

It sounds good fun and stimulating too. Never been to anything like that but would think about giving it a go if there was anything on that was close.

Whereabouts are you again Jaffa? Ooop North? There's Keswick and Clan Gathering (New wine Scotland) SH also takes place in Skeggy as well as dahn sarf in Minehead.

Many memories of Spring Harvest (Minehead) as I was the church organiser for this for 10 years. Annually we took about 130 people along. Have fun and lots of hand waving!

Baroque, actually its the "manifold sins and wickedness" that gets me, rather than the scripture moveth us. Manifold is a car part! I think of sinful cars! And anyway the scripture can literally move you to action (or if you drop a bible on your foot ).

ah, the bit that makes me laugh is the Second Collect for Time Lords:

"O GOD, from whom all holy desires, all good counsels, and all just works do proceed; Give unto thy servants that peace which the world cannot give; that both our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments , and also that by thee, we, being defended from the fear of our enemies, may pass our time in rest and quietness; through the merits of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Amen.

Mary, I always say it as mennifold, so that I don't get the giggles at the Manifold bit!

We've had word from the diocese that they are looking to buy the house we saw and was most suitable - fantastic - just hoping it all goes through and chains etc not too complicated!! Already planning what I'll have it like in my head, can't help myself

it's my half baked Easter name change - was the closest I could think of for my usual name - I think it's quite clever you - know Baroque-Bach-Back, around the clock-chocolate - because it the end of Lent.........
