What's the best pet name you've come across?

I'm partial to pets with very beige, mid-century human names like Colin, Dave, Alan, Brenda, Sandra, Deidre.

A lady I worked with once rescued a really vicious parrot and renamed him Thomas-a-Peckitt.

I've just got back from a dog walk where we met a giant, perfectly rounded, sandy coloured staffy called King Edward to reflect the fact he's basically a potato.

I can't stop smiling. I had to share it with someone.

I once heard of 2 pigs called Banger and Sparkler haha!

We had two cats called vodka and orange, a Doberman called Kaizer Bill, a dog and cat named Bonnie and Clyde! My friend had a goldfish called dog.

Two dogs called pepper and ice, ive never seen 2 dog trained so well.
I dont like dogs but loved these two.
A rottweiler and a doberman, magnificently trained.

King Edward is a great name. My previous neighbour used to have this really cute and a very friendly dog being called Albert. He always made me smile.

Brothers friend had a dog called cat and a cat called dog. They knew their names too :-)

Our old neighbour had a huge, black fluffy cat called Behemoth. Suited him.

Guinea pigs called Phil and Grant. Phil was the portly albino.
An old staffy called Gerald.

A naughty cat called Asbo and a black one called BatCat. And our first cat, whom we did indeed lose, called Mojo…

We had a hamster called Big Phil. A friend's family had a big ginger tom cat who I think had a different original name but just became Ginger Roberts when adopted by the Roberts family. Another friend's family had cats called Brian and Henry.

There was a cat called Chairman Meow who used to be the leader of the Monster Raving Loony Party.

There used to be a big soft golden retriever in our village called Humphrey. He liked going to the pub.

Favourite dog name so far is Lord Percival often just called Percy. And he looks like a Lord too with a beard and bushy eyebrows. Lovely!

Friend also had a (rather plump) retriever called Humphrey.

He farted continuously (dog not friend).

Also had friends that had inherited a sort of guard dog called Captain, and they added a second one and called it Tennille.

I met a dalmatian called Mark the other day. I've aso encountered a very round, sandy-coloured staffy called Bagel and a lurcher called Mavis.

I had a springer spaniel called jerry springer

I love Thomas-a-Peckitt for a parrot 🦜 😄

My dad had a Scottish Terrier called Iain. Spelt the Scottish way of course

I knew someone who had cats called Mugtree and Fringey.
Also have a friend who gives her pets full names so she has cats called Beverley Murgatroyd, Bertram Bertwhistle and Janet Wilkinson.
Also a friend whose dog is called Big Derek

I’ve only just realised why my friends cocker poo is called Jarvis. I thought it was because they like music.
