What's the best pet name you've come across?

I'm partial to pets with very beige, mid-century human names like Colin, Dave, Alan, Brenda, Sandra, Deidre.

A lady I worked with once rescued a really vicious parrot and renamed him Thomas-a-Peckitt.

I've just got back from a dog walk where we met a giant, perfectly rounded, sandy coloured staffy called King Edward to reflect the fact he's basically a potato.

I can't stop smiling. I had to share it with someone.

I knew a Mr Pickwick who was black with some white, and solid!

My staffy was called bruce! I also had a Hamster called Hector and when he died we got another Hamster and he's called Humphrey

I was a rather nerdy teen so I had a few pets with Shakespearean names. My favourite of the names was my goldfish who was called Sir Toby Belch.

Eamonn the shitszu. The kids called it after their school principle ( not my kids). Our cats have first name, middle name and confirmation name thanks to my DD16. Regularly get called my their full name when they are being cheeky.

Is Kath Welsh? The Welsh for cat is cath 😹

An extremely fancy cat. One of those big fat flat faced ones. He was beige and very potato-esque. His name was Spud.

I used to have two eels called Eel Diamond and Eel Patrick Harris.

Dgm found a mongrel ddog she def wasn't keeping so she named him Nameless..

I once met a chihuahua aptly named Princess Consuela they also had a cat named Champion the Wonder Plug

A colleagues dog is called Jeff.

My housemate got a kitten years ago, and it was very cute but had a very triangular face so we called it Gail, after Gail Tilsley from Corrie.

My childhood best mate had a dog called Crawford, so named as he was crackers.
