Is it okay for me to start a second thread of the highly entertaining viscous attack? Couldn’t see a sequel and don’t want to step foot on anyone’s toes

I am wondering how long it will be until 'loose' becomes the standard spelling for 'lose'? It is one of those ones that is becoming so common that I do a double take when I see the correct spelling.

But if I do see 'loose' instead of 'lose' I get a picture of the writer loosing whatever it is, akin to Shakespeare's dogs of war. ("Be free, my 5lbs of unwanted weight!")

I saw 'lose ' used incorrectly yesterday (on MN) instead of the correct 'loose', so we've come full circle.
