mumface - I'd say kooky and daydream. I love daydream. They are really really nice aren't they. Ooooh.

4 - wishing you post today!

Hello all. Mum arrives tonight with my freshly stripped and tumble drien inserts and fitteds. Can't wait!

bagpuss · 06/07/2010 13:10

Was going to say the exact same as Tree re the mini la la prints. I have counted my nappies up and scared myself a bit so I don't think we will be buying any more in the immediate future . I really still want at least one lilac one, some more flips and to maybe try some side snaps again to see if we get on better with them (had planned on buying flips as we often run low of them and although I am always wanting stuff we are pretty pleased with the stash as it is).

myjob, that sounds horrible but glad things are improving with the nappies though!

Tree, you'll have to let me know how you get on with the nappies now they are stripped. Both my last nappy washes have made a light come on on my machine which is marked "excess detergent" . Not sure why though as we only use a tablespoon of powder and I increase the water levels in the wash and rinse cycles so can't see why there would be any build up.

4 and mumface I hop your fluffy post is here soon!

CharlottesClan · 06/07/2010 13:28

praying for fluff 4

we have no mini lalas.. not even heard of them but then ive been on the fluffy bandwagon since april really, only a few bits here and there. (i dont count wool.. )

bagpus im pretty stashified too. but then people keep bringing out new prints or nappies.

Not even a sniff of a parcel and in waiting for loads, fluffy and nonfluffy!

Tilly-Grace's poo's are like pure vinegar at them moment, makes me heave! Some sunshine has done them wonders though!

I have fallen out of love with my ittis today as Tilly-Grace has a case of wing droop! Driving me mad keep hoiking them up!

treedelivery · 06/07/2010 14:03

Can anyone spare 79p here??

TimeForANewWan · 06/07/2010 20:26

Hi every one

we're 5 days in and loving cloth. We'restill in dispos a night and Baby J has started to refuse to do his morning poo as soon as he wakes up (which he used to do like clockwork) and now waits for the moment he has his first real nappy for the day on .

I was going to buy some night nappies this week (have been eyeing the Wee Notions Night Notions) but my car failed the MOT today ( because it was serviced 2 months ago and they failed to pick up/tell me I'd need new brakes!) .

Am very much in love with my Ittis SIO that arrived on the weekend.

Would one of ou kindly direct me to the fb group you all allude to all the time?

mumface · 06/07/2010 20:52

TFANW, theres not a specific fb group we meet on, just lots of nappy website groups eg Babybots, Bespoke Baby Room, Wee notion, Totsbots etc. Not sure how to let you know who I am without linking the world to my fb page unless you allow me to CAT u on MN.
Glad your loving your cloth, damn the car stopping NN purchasing!
My WN fluffy post came today! 4 SS pockets. 3 are WOW,= (blue paisley, white dotty cuddlesoft, paisley fish, royal blue inner/ blue bubble minkee, yellow inner, yellow snaps and chocolates, choc LE print, purple inner & snaps) and one I am a bit meh about. Mainly because I selected black minkee, gold inner and the gold is more mustardy brown. And the colours together remind me of a rottweiller dog! The dragon on bum is lovely though!

bagpuss · 06/07/2010 21:38

pictures! we want pictures mumface! They sound divine though .

CC, yes tis annoying about all the new prints and of course I don't need them but I want them!!! Am currently debating new flip colours (noodle or bubble?)

4 - dt1's SIO has a bit of wing droop too but not the AIO which is odd. Did the post arrive in the end?

Have accidentally put my name down for a custom skirtie this afternoon . Some days I really can't help myself....

mumface · 06/07/2010 21:54

Sorry still can't get pics to upload off my camera
I have gone off my wool, Connor seems to eat for most of the day and get food all over them, so they need washing every day and I am too lazy tired to do a hand wash that often. They just sit at the bottom of the wash for days. Not using them at night either, prefer fleece or an AIO.

octothechildherder · 06/07/2010 22:07

gah - where does time go??!! I need to read again ...

(((do you like the old or new BBR look???)))

Off to sleep now lol

Am about to become a very large bag lady again too lol

treedelivery · 06/07/2010 22:14

Helloooo Octo.

New, for sure. The tighter screen means it is less busy and easier to read. If that makes sense.

We love our bag lady

Hello everyone. Been to parents evening and also the charity thread has been busy, so a lovely positive evening

LackaDAISYcal · 07/07/2010 08:16

Definately like the new look Octo, looks slicker....not that the old one wasn't good though

CharlottesClan · 07/07/2010 09:40

mumface you can machine wash wool (contrary to popular belief)
you do have to landonise them more often, but i just dunk them then hang them. no soaking and it works fine possibly as they are already wet from washing?

george is back in longies again today as weather is crap. typical as had planned a picnic today as its his birthday

mumface · 07/07/2010 10:01

Not sure I dare try it CC because I once washed a pair of Lewis's Disana longies on 40 and they came out fitting Connor aged 6mths My wool wash cycle says it washes at 40 delicate.
I have some too small Snugglepants wool longies now (not shrunken, just grown out of!) that I need to sell but it's hard without photo's.

I am being impatient and tumble drying my new WN inserts now just so they can wear them today!
Hope every one else's fluffy/other post comes today, and my mini lala.

Did anyone else see that Close Parent pop-in has a new V3 now, and nobody really knows about it! (unlike BG! )

My posty came today (well he left a card so lovely dp picked my parcel up from sorting office on the way home) and my easyfits brights are here, they are totally gorgeous, my fb prize came too, i got a mushrooms print ef which is lovely, im in fluffy heaven! CC the boosters which came with my ef's were completely covered in bamboo, i didnt get one with my print ef though so not sure if they have to be purchased seperately?

DD4's black bat vest came too so she will totally rock in that and her black itti and skulls and roses tutu pants and flongies

Dp is in a very good mood today, i confessed id put a small bid on a bugaboo on ebay and he told me to increase my bid as it would do for another baby Unfortunatley i got outbid but im now browsing just incase he is feeling generous again

littlesez · 07/07/2010 21:16

went round t my friends today to talk cloth, i thought she would be interested in my little lambs but went straight for weenotions and ittis. It was so nice I let her try on izzy's nappies her little girl loved them and kept on flashing them love it!

bagpuss · 07/07/2010 21:22

Hi Myjob! I need to choose yarn and do measuring and stuff - all very exciting!! I wish I hadn't counted the nappies now either . Do you think if I say I'm satisfied with my stash again (third time on this thread) it will sink in with me? Am still browsing daily when I get a moment and today have considered some WN side snaps and maybe some northern lights. I thought that the wool might have taken my mind off the nappies but it is making me worse! I will need t-shirts to match as well!

Can I ask what sort of fitted everyone else uses under their wool?

Octo, new site is very swish but I'm trying not to look and now there's those new wetbags .

Mumface, enjoy the mini la la - we want a full report!

4 - re the wing droop - I got a good tip recently to stop it - if you popper up as usual but instead of fastening the poppers consecutively you miss a popper out and do the next one out then the wing droop shouldn't happen. Hope that makes sense, it worked with my bambootys.

Myjob, enjoy your weekend away!

4andnotout · 07/07/2010 21:32

Oh bagpuss that could work, thanks for the tip!
