lol myjob! I have got my MIL knitting some wool from the nappy garden into soakers so I will see how we get along with that first - its been a long time since we used wool so not sure how it will go. Thanks for your offer though and I will let you know as I don't think MIL is able to do crops/longies (I'm not even sure she understands fully what the soakers are for ).

my job they are great! wish i had a girl to knit for boys have so much less to make!!

finished my second soaker last night, going to start on another pair of bordies, using superwash wool which apparently you CAN use as long as daytime use and you give them a jolly good lanolise! they are for the garden anyway so they need to be machine washable.

George took his first steps last night walked from one sofa to the other to get my chocolate bar. ive suspected that he could do it for a while, but hes too nervous to!

just spent an hour scrubbing the floor as we have barewood atm because b&q havent had any floor varnish in stock for weeks and i cant afford ronseal. (£40 a tub )

mumface · 09/06/2010 12:55

Thats great about Georges first steps, I think C is a week or two older than him and has only just started crawling. My other two were the same and walked at 14 and 15 months.

Yay George!

Yay WN! Pic please!?

myjob - thought you were making an announcement then!

So thank the lordy lord for Bespokenappyroom, who are zooming another pair of the snugglepants I shrank! Thank you thank you thank you. How lucky am I that there were a par that fit her?

I'll try sell on the shrunken pair to fund the new pair, they are perfectly wearable. Infact they still fit H, just they are more like leggings than pants. I'd say up to a one year old. I'll pop them on CNT and see.

Have reseved a Boden denim skirt in the preview. Naughty! I have tll Aug to raise the paypal Still, £35, and f it's th perfect denim skirt it will be sooooo worth it. I live in that kind of thing. Heavy tights in winter and fake tan in summer and a pair of converse throughout. It's my uniform!

Have e-mailed them. Think I'm going with blue circle-O minkee with yellow minkee inner and yellow touchtape aswell as the dragon on black with gold minkee inner. Can't decide whether to go for black or red tape on that one, as their is red on the dragon.
Tough decisions.
