woo hoo - guilt free fluffy post

gorgeous Izzy Bear lady birds nappy and replacement cushie so no spending guilt with all the excitement of lovely squishey packets of nappies!

also got some jackson reece wipes and a diddy nappy keyring

anyone want my leaky bumblebee cushie to use with a wrap? - I don't use wraps during the day and hate putting stuff in the bin. Free to a good home before it goes in the fabric recycling bin

octothechildherder · 08/05/2010 18:09

salbysea - did you get the big box too? Thought you'd like the nappy keyring

octothechildherder · 08/05/2010 18:10

Tree - glad you love everything - fluffy heaven

yes I got that too octo, have a little wipes mountain in my bedroom

DH made a very unmanly squeeky "awww" when he saw the key-ring

octothechildherder · 09/05/2010 07:53

lol at unmanly awwww hee hee

Babybots · 09/05/2010 09:01

lol Love my nappy keyring everyone comments on it!

Im another fan of the bamboozles not keen on the sewn in tongue on the size one though! need to try the stretch i think.

bagpuss · 09/05/2010 09:56

Ooh, nappy keyring! I'm very envious of all the fluffy post too (despite now drowning in tots bots).

The only problem with the stretch is that if you remove the tongue then you end up with poppers exposed on the inside which I don't think would be too comfy for baby. Love them though - have just finished prewashing my new ones so we are having a tots bots day today. Need a couple more tots wraps though - can't wait for the new patterns to come out!

Babybots · 10/05/2010 08:38

Ooooooh i might have to invest in one to try then, seen so many good reviews

thebluefoxategreensocks · 10/05/2010 12:54

babybots: Yes, you MUST try a stretch - they're fantastic! I'm just disappointed that Clement's skin doesn't tolerate fitteds. He comes out in redness/rash after just 2 nappies in a row that are fitteds. Whereas he can go a whole day in GreenKids pockets and is happy as can be. Though I do have to put him in a disposable at night, as 100% cloth always brings him out in rash after about 2 nights in cloth (even pockts at night). But all GreenKids during the day and 1 sposie at night, and he's perfect! So that's quite good enough for me, I have to say!

Seems I hardly talk nappies anymore on line! I just come here and check in every now and again! I guess life is just too busy really - seems I spend ALL day just trying to keep the house basically tidy and meals cooked, children looked after. And before I know it, it's gone midnight and I crash into bed! and start all over the next day! But probably when baby #4 comes in October, then I'll feel like getting excited about nappies again - though I do have a stash already! But if it's a girl, I'll have a good excuse that I'll NEED some stuff! Then again, if it's another boy - well, I'll need nothing! lol

Hope everyone is ok. There were SNOW flurries this morning! And it's nearly the middle of May! Help!!!

mumface · 10/05/2010 13:16

Snow?! The weather is very confused at the moment.
Am not massively impressed with my easifits YET but they have only had 3 prewashes. Have just been carrying him round on my hip only to find poo smeared all down the side of my white blouse
They are a bit leaky but so easy to get on Connor comapred to fitteds. It's a new sport in this house, changing him called it's baby wrestling He flips over so quick and thinks it's a game now!

Tree-if you facebook message me your address i'll get those soakers off into the post to you on thursday when i get paid.

Babybots · 10/05/2010 16:59

Mumface - I share your pain! I have the very same issue with my escape artist child
Hes a nightmare to change at the moment, and hes even starting to lull me into a false sence of security by laying still for about 30 seconds whilst i do half the nappy up then he flips over and crawls out before i can do any more!! He thinks its funny Mummys not to impressed!!

Hmm Rachel i might be convinced to get one then! Although it wil only get used at night on DS, maybe i'll wait for a mini bots to try it on

Hello all can I join?

I`ve got a 7months old ds and have been using cloth for 4 months and getting addicted to buying new fluff.
Really love my coolababies and ittis.Have just ordered a cushie tushie snowfall, really wanted the giraffe one but still sold out so this one will do for now.
Have tried cloth at night but given up for now as still bf during night so constant weeing from little man.
x

Salbysea · 10/05/2010 23:19

hi bella!

what did you use when you tried night cloth?

I love coolababys and ittis and other pockets and snap ins and AIOs during the day, but for night I find that only a 2 part system works - I love tots bots stretch bamboozles with fleece longies or soakers. And WNNNs have a huge capacity, am thinking of only using one of the inserts now

Babybots · 11/05/2010 08:07

Hi all,

I need to join you germy people too i have a sore throat from hell and feel very crap i must say. (have a huge cup of tea in hope that it will soothe it better) Mumface/ Tree hope you feel better today (((())))

Welcome Bella, I'd recommend a two part system at night too. Also i have a new giraffe CT sat here needing a home if your in need. (last one, left over - email if you want)

Right thats it from me no nappy news really, just thought id say hi!

octothechildherder · 11/05/2010 10:21

BellaCullen · 11/05/2010 12:07

I used the coolababy with two inserts and fleece soaker but needed to be changed during night in another one and was still wet in morning.

babybots do you still have ct giraffe am desperate for one so cute but seem like golddust to get. Will e-mail you.

Had some fluff post of 2 preloved BG and a trail pack of the flip.Love the BG not so sure about the flip.

treedelivery · 11/05/2010 12:20

Somewhat better - but dd1 puked everywhere on way to school Have been moaning on fb ever since

No napy news, except my inserts/fleece ned some white vinegar or something as they pong!

Hello Bella

How much do you think I could sell a Blueberry sidesnap for?

Wetbag mountain. I'd liek one of those I need a bag for my bedroom me thinks.

Salbysea · 11/05/2010 12:47

I don't like coolababys at night (much as I love them during the day) for 2 reasons

they're not breathable, get sweaty by the morning

and microfibre inserts - FAB at absorbing stuff but the moisture is easily squeezed out too so if its full and they roll over on it it just wrings itself out I think.

I love bamboo mixes at night because it really hangs onto the moisture - doest get squeezed out once full, just keeps going

also with fleece over bamboo or similar there is some evaporation which you wont really get with fleece over coolababys

oh and get well soon x

Babybots · 11/05/2010 12:56

Bella, - Just replied to email
Id try a bamboo or a microfibre nappy wiht your fleece soaker over night (have a look at Little Lambs and Bambinex) The fleece unfortunatly wont work with the coolababy over night.

Waves to everyone else! Poor DD Tree!
