AFAIK muslins are only good for lil'uns?

I totally understand - when I started cloth it had to be on "my" days only

bagpuss · 29/04/2010 20:54

Tree, I use Easy Peasy Hemp boosters in all my pockets and find them fab for making things actually work. I haven't bought any new bamboo ones yet (need to though) as our old tots bamboo ones seem to be fine whenever I need them. Not sure about the BBH Magicalls though but maybe a PUL issue as my ittis went clammy before they went crunchy. I bought Bambootys in Tutu Cute and Zoom Zoom - both very nice and awaiting a test, just hoping they don't take forever to dry. I have itti AIOs btw - not sure why I typed SIO . I think I prefer the way the insides are on the AIO - I always felt that the dts were kind of balanced on the inserts in the SIOs and they were not that comfy looking.

Babydrip - you will love those nappies I am sure. Love the baby pink itti - was tempted myself as they are so cute looking .

Oooh Salbysea, he must have been such a squasher! Shnuggle buggle.

I agree about the muslins, but if you are short on stuffable stuff, use old face cloths or thin towel, or tea towels. ANything!
Another good one is microfibre cleaning cloths [froma poundshop or wilkinsons or somewhere] but* because microfbre 'holds' fluid between the fibres, rahter than absorbing it, it works best wth a layer of cotton/bamboo/hemp or something like that.

I'd suggest a good 3 wash-rinse-dry cycles. More the merrier though. In not very much detergent at all.

I have cleared out all my nappies now and am having big clearout this weekend of all the boys stuff and stuff in loft for a car boot sale on sunday - making way for new stock space I have a whole new cupboard coming to house my 300 pairs of Pumpkin Pants lol lol - I cant believe DH has agreed to it either lol

Any hoo - not alot going on - faffing about.

Afternoon all

I'm waiting for my iceland delivery so thought I'd pop in and say hi

I actually swapped 5 of my itti's with Rusmum so only have one limited edition now and missing red from my rainbow but I'm a bit sad as I feel I'm a bit "over" nappies at the moment. Perhaps it's because I love my itti's ans stretchies and fleece for night, afterall if I ain't broke don't fix it!!

Tree-we can only use fleece once per wash too, I meant to ask if you need anymore flee e soakers as I have a couple of pink ones that I bought last dec but dd4 has outgrown them, they are larges, ffp if you fancy them?

Well I'm still walking like John Wayne which the kids are finding highly amusing, hoping the antibiotics kick in soon!

treedelivery · 30/04/2010 14:18

Hello 4!!

Would bite your hand off about the fleece! Although I did get 2 new pumking pants, a few more are required to make me feel relaxed!

I heard a rumour about Itti's......

4andnotout · 30/04/2010 14:42

I'll sort them out over the weekend, I thik I have a pink camo and a pink spotty in large.

Iceland delivery just came and I can't fit it all in the freezer Luckily my dad is coming to pick up dd1 & dd2 from school for me and take them for their Friday night sleepover so he can take a few bags of frozen stuff and chuck it in their spare freezer!

Dd's 3&4 are sitting on my lap apples it's aka ing how mch noise and mess an apple can make They are certainly enjoying them from the lip smacking!

Salbysea · 30/04/2010 17:32

Octo, how many jackson reece wipes can I reasonably order? - want to stock up, love them! (their site says they're stocked in some chain stores but my local ones haven't heard of them)

octothechildherder · 30/04/2010 18:12

Salbysea - as many as you want tbh - can courier them. Some people buy full boxes of 12 or more. Use your discount code though lol! Email me if you prefer to chat about quantities on [email protected]
