Postman in T-5 mins. It is unreasonable to expect my fluff but I'll stll give him daggers if he brings bills only

treedelivery · 27/04/2010 11:27

And I have build up

They have had a rinse-wash with extra rinse-rinse but still some bubbles in water. Wonder if they need a break from the Bold?

octothechildherder · 27/04/2010 12:36

He must have known how much you wanted them

mumface · 27/04/2010 13:40

Just read the articles on the new 'improved' Pampers drymax causing chemical burns and a bad rash in the US. They have even started their own FB page to bring the old ones back.
I have been using Tescos pull ups on Lewis while at nursery in the morning as cloth pull ups were leaking a bit onto his trousers. Think they need to change him not long after he gets there to stop this, but don't want to interfere with his activities and we get there late as it is as both kids start at 9am and school is 20 mins away from Nursery.
Why am I skint during the real nappy week discounts, then will have funds when it's all over!?

Oh these flongies. We all need more flongies and soakers. Do we find the flongies enough for a nght given they don't have a booster layer?

3 pairs of wool dry too, such choice

Salbysea · 27/04/2010 20:46

I lay a strip of fleece over the top (front as DS) of his night nappy when I use flongies. it sort of sticks there and works great. Prob don't need it but like the extra reassurance

treedelivery · 27/04/2010 21:34

Good idea!

I'll do that when she is up again, she looked adorable going to bed. Especially as it was dg taking her not me

Mine are both in Coolababy atm-love em.
What do we think of Totsbots Easyfits?

OP posts:
Salbysea · 28/04/2010 19:40

Ooops! bought DS a pair of pink flongies - thought they looked red on the website, they are actually hot pink! decided to keep them, they're lovely and bright and not the girliest of pinks and I only use flongies for PJs anyway. Plus DS is only my first so....

coolababys are super reliable. They are the only ones I trust for long car journeys. I have NEVER had a leak in a coolababy (I lie, once I did when I'd stuffed with something different, but never with coolababy inserts)

I use 2 coolababy inserts in each nappy (they come with 1) for extra reassurance but they are never even nearly wet through

I had a brief prob with them for about 2 weeks when he started walking at first - the front boppers were rubbing his inner thighs a bit (was happening with every brand of BTP), but now that he walks a bit more upright (not at a right angle pushing his walker) the prob seems to be gone so they have gone back to being my no1 nappy

They are much the same as fuzzy bunz except fuzzy bunz are sized not BTP

Easyfits don't work for me. They leak (even though they've been washed loads). and I don't like the aplix - even if carefully places they still sometimes scratch his tum

mumface · 28/04/2010 19:49

Salbysea- Pink is the in colour for boys this summer, Next is full of pink tops for lads Lewis has a fuschia and dusky pink polo shirt.

OP posts:
Salbysea · 28/04/2010 20:02

oh er, yeah well of course I knew that! bought them on purpose because I am so on trend, the trendy wendy that I am
LOL!

I'm not fussed about gender specific clothing, am just anti pastels in general - prefer bright colors, and the flongies are a brilliant hot pink
