have to take DS1 to his induction afternoon (2nd one - hoping he doesn't throw up like he did last week LOL) at his new school.........thing is DS2 has his sleep at 1pm-3pm - and the induction afternoon starts at 1.30

So I'm going to put DS2 down for his sleep as usual, at 1.30 on the dot grab the monitor, lock the front door and whizz round to the school to drop DS1 off - then whizz back again

i wouldnt sorry!

WigWamBam · 21/06/2005 11:35

Sorry, I wouldn't either. I know you're close to the school, but I wouldn't risk it.

Gobbledigook · 21/06/2005 11:35

Oooh, me either! I know a few people who do similar but I couldn't.

QueenOfQuotes · 21/06/2005 11:36

I measure it yesterday - end of my garden to his bedroom door is FURTHER than the school door.....

OP posts:
MandM · 21/06/2005 11:36

Could you not put him down for his slep in his buggy or in the car? Or even just delay the nap by 40 mins?

I wouldn't risk it either - sorry.

Nemo1977 · 21/06/2005 11:36

put him in his pram to sleep then take him with

WigWamBam · 21/06/2005 11:36

I still wouldn't risk it; sorry. Can't you delay the nap by half an hour, to be completely certain that he's safe?

MrsDoolittle · 21/06/2005 11:39

I'd be careful. I know of a chap who crossed the roads from his house to go to the ATM machine and his two liitle kiddies set fire to the house.
He's up for manslaughter.
Chances are all would be well but what if??

Lizzylou · 21/06/2005 11:39

I wouldn't risk it at all...but then I don't leave the house at all when DS is asleep....not even the end of the garden.....(patio is OK tho! )

QueenOfQuotes · 21/06/2005 11:39

what am I 'risking' - I've been spending these hot sunny days at the end of my garden (often forgetting to take the monitor out with me).

OP posts:
Caligula · 21/06/2005 11:40

Are you needing to stay with DS1 for any length of time, or is just a question of dropping him off?

QueenOfQuotes · 21/06/2005 11:40

Hmm - don't think DS2 would be climbing out his cot and setting fire to the house...........and he could do that while I'm in the garden and I'd never notice until there was smoke billowing out the house!

OP posts:
MrsDoolittle · 21/06/2005 11:40

If you're so sure, why do you need to post it??

Nemo1977 · 21/06/2005 11:40

if you dont think its a riskthen why is the thread titled a 'bad mummy moment'????????

Nemo1977 · 21/06/2005 11:40
