New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Putting Clement in cloth nappies today - lets hope the rash stays away! Maybe I should put the cream on again today just to be sure. But I think rash is totally gone now. I've got him in longies over bamboozles, so hopefully the wool will keep him cooler/dryer than a wrap & clothes on top.

mumskullface · 02/11/2009 10:30

Rachel, I would put a dab on just to be sure if you have some left.
Will post your Tirsokas when passing on school run later. Royal Mail seem ok my end I got my Bedbug today, was posted on Friday.
Had parcels fine all week (except poor little lost keyring)

so far so good with Clement today - no redness. But I've got loads of cream left in the tube, as only started using it on Thursday afternoon last week, so putting a bit more cream on him today just to make sure every last bit is gone.

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/11/2009 16:41

and I think I might just risk it, and buy these that I mentioned the other day:
cgi.ebay.co.uk/UK-10-BABY-DIAPERS-NAPPIES-4-10KG-10-INSERTS_W0QQitemZ290363967137QQcmdZViewItemQQptZ UKBabyBabyChangingNappies_LE?hash=item439b0a86a1 to have at least as spares for Benjamin. I've got 5 good BGs and 2 with elastic gone, as well as 1 ebay Babyland pocket nappy - but 8 nappies isn't really enough for him. Obviously I have tons of fitteds, but he's just not liking them at the moment. So hopefully these 10 off ebay will be good enough (even if not suedecloth inners), and at least they're cheap per item. So if nothing else, I'll have some spare pockets, even if I have to buy different ones later. That is, as long as they work & don't fall apart! LOL But I'm trying to be hopeful since the PUL looks the same as Fuzzibunz used. And the shape looks like the Coolababys - but oddly enough, there is no name listed at all!

mumskullface · 02/11/2009 17:02

Am I reading it right 10 nappies + 10 inserts for £16.99 er wow!!

Octothewetbagpacker · 02/11/2009 17:16

Can't go that wrong for £16.99 - if they leak put a cover over them!

I have had one minor crisis - put all the orders in bags, sealed addressed and got to last one and it was the wrong pattern - decided not to reopen all the bags and hope made an error when picking! If someone gets a jungle critters when should have been a traffic jam lmk!!! The lady at the post office gave me my own recorded delivery book and roll of recorded stickers!!

Stockists next ... Leaving tomorrow.

I will re-emerge from bag mounatin later tonight!

treedeLivingDeadery · 02/11/2009 18:52

Wow octo - you are a bag lady supremo!! I only wish a jungle critters or traffic jam was coming my way If someone does get the wrong one you can always replace, but they might like it!

Rachel - all sounds good, rash and nappies too!

Found an unspeakably bad nappy full of poo and one wet on the floor of the utility/junk room. OOOOO bad. They are on they're third rinse solo in the machine. I can see poo floating about. I hope I can save the nappies. Bleurgh.

Octothechildherder · 02/11/2009 20:45

I am back!!

LatinDAISYcal · 02/11/2009 23:03

all partied out here, but have had mystery fluffy post in the form of a nappy and wrap that the sender has no recollection of sending to me and who I don't know other than a name on the Lollipop forum

Octo, nappy keyrong already getting comments . Love it

gotta sleep, will try and catch up sooooooooon

thebluefoxategreensocks · 02/11/2009 23:15

yep, meant to be 10 pocket nappies with inserts for only 16.99, tho postage on top, of course. But still, at 29.98 in total, that's only 2.98 per nappy. I'll be sure to report back as to what they're like! Hopefully won't be totally wasted money.

btw, this thread seems soooooo quiet lately - where is everyone at?!

Octothechildherder · 03/11/2009 00:55

Its late - am updating site and planning stuff! I have resurfaced-ish!

Tired!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 03/11/2009 01:05

I have been Xmas shopping. Lol.

The pockets look good Rachel - you will have to let us know how they go. Didn't you say your LOs were allergic to fleece though?

4andnotout · 03/11/2009 08:19

Morning all

Back to school for my big'uns today, not looking forward to the walk in the rain

Nothing to report here, any spare pennies have been going on pressies for birthdays and Xmas! Dd1 will be 8 on Sunday she is growing too quick, she didn't want dollies or anything babyish

Better coat up, see you all later x

mumface · 03/11/2009 10:33

V. poorly with sickness bug this morning, my mum been & taken the boys for me.
Massively cheered up as Monkeyfootbags posted yesterday are here already!!! Thanks for the hangers too Octo

Octothechildherder · 03/11/2009 11:09

YES HOORAY!!!

Sent everyone who had waited a free gift for their patience!

I have had to put postage up to £3.50 from £2.50 to cover recorded delivery as will be using this all the time now whatever the item is. You can still use your MNOCTO code to get 10% so this should be offset. It does mean that all orders will be £3.50 whether one nappy or 10 nappies which balances out - email me though if you just want one thing! It also means I can give free postage on bigger orders which haven't been able to do before.

Am surrounded by bag mountain still! Off to a baby groups this afternoon in Bath - Jabula will be there . Need to pack up car but is raining very hard!!! Yuk.

Hmmm time for cup of tea.

Mumface - hope you get better soon Good you have no kids - worse thing ever is sickness with kids watching! I have got some antibacterial hand spray which I squirt on everything/hands now lol! The one I have is Bugs Away from Lollipop/Home Scents but looking at getting some fairy kisses ones from Motherease but not in stock. I really never thought I would be the kind of person to carry round hand spray lol

treedeLivingDeadery · 03/11/2009 11:10
