New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Course you are Babybots! It's a good sign you love your work no?

COuldn;t help you out with the false purchase Jenny, as my cards are all kaput!! No paypal, debit or credit card. I'm a one woman banking crisis! Maybe the government would give me a tax payers bail out!?

Odd day here. Put a bbss stuffed with bb hemp and microfibre insert. It totally leaked and soaked dd2 through 2 hours later.

Then a magicall did the same, although that had been on a while.

Eh?

Scotia · 30/11/2009 19:42

Octo, I got your invoice for the fleece longies and paid this morning. Just have to wait now.

I won a custom slot on BBM for some lovely safari wool so I'm having a lion top made to match for K's birthday in January.

Things still not looking good for my nanna. She has dementia and doesn't know any of us any more, which is bad enough, but she was ill at the start of November and now she hasn't eaten any food since the 10th. She's drinking a bit, but not much really. The doctor is checking on her every couple of days (she's in a nursing home) and he's not optimistic. She's semi conscious and in bed all the time now, but she's comfortable and being well looked after where she is. It's kind of hard to get in the mood for putting up the Christmas decorations with the way things are really. My dad didn't think she'd see her birthday, which was last Friday - she's 88. My poor nanna.

treedelivery · 30/11/2009 19:52

Oh Scotia :-(

I was about to start typing at your spawny wooly win, but then read about poor nanna.
I'm so glad she is comfortable and experiencing a dignified restfull time. x

Aw myjob. Well done you. though. It sucks not having money for treats.

All done Octo, speaking of which. But really, 4 night nappoes isn't enough, not with my lazy arsed approach to washing.

Octothebaglady · 30/11/2009 20:21

Scotia - thinking of you x

kmummy · 30/11/2009 20:35

Heeelllloooooooooooo

kmummy · 30/11/2009 20:38

Oh Scotia, sorry to hear that, huge hugs x

mumface · 30/11/2009 20:39

Hi! Of course we remember you! Where to start?? Bedbugs, lots of knitting, Itti AIO's...
Where are you nappywise?, I seem to remember you having Bububebe on order, did you sell your HL bee bedbug?

4andnotout · 30/11/2009 20:44

((((Scotia)))

I love the look of the bedbugs too but i now have 9 bbh's for one baby's nightime use

Just got in from the dd's school play, dp got to see it all but i had to take dd3 into the adjoining bar as she was being really noisy, then i had to have a quick pint to be socialable

All in bed now It's been a naughty day today, dd2 especially, she had a tantrum in the chocolate factory and has been a pain in the derriere!

kmummy · 30/11/2009 20:45

Yes my poor BB has gone, night nappies are not working here, i was getting ot stressed about it all, so am giving up for a bit and will go back and try again another time

Yup had a few more Bububebes pass by since then, 3 this week actually am waiting on lots of custom stuff, 4 flongies and tops and some woolywumpkins longies, a gorgous necklace from Etsy (for me) and 3 custom stockings for the boys, which im really looking forward to! So not much nappy wise

DS1 has been put onto the gisted register at the grand old age of 5, and im ridiculously proud!

kmummy · 30/11/2009 20:46

gifted as you can see the brains arnt from me!

Octothebaglady · 30/11/2009 20:51

Hello kmummy - nice to see you - you must be very proud of ds

4 - think I would have a tantrum in a choccie factory!!

KirstyJC · 30/11/2009 20:52

Evening all! I tend to lurk here rather than post, but I need some opinions! I have just noticed the Itti AIO offer on Ebay - I have 2 already, strawberry fields and blue polka dots (from Cheeks & Cherries) and they are my new favourite nappy! I want to get one more from Ebay, and I need to do it quickly before DH notices I am buying something again!!

My question is, what colour to get!?!? I have the tiger, lime green and moo-moo normal Ittis, as well as the 2 AIOs. I like the look of the yellow, orange (rockmelon) the black (midnight) and the chocolate brown. Do any of you have these colours? Which would you pick out of them? I can't decide.....!

Ohhh...indecision is killing me....!

mumface · 30/11/2009 20:54

I am thinking about getting flongies are you doing tops aswell Octo?

kmummy · 30/11/2009 20:56

I have ALL of them! MY fav is the black, then brown, yellow then rockmelon!

4 i to would do a pretty impressive tantrum in a choccy factory!

Hey Octo i am, nice to see you to, busy i bet?

mumface · 30/11/2009 20:57

I have all those colours! Think the melon is a bit insipid, yellow is nice, Love midnight and chocolate. I think black is really cool. Do you have a boy or girl?

mumface · 30/11/2009 21:00

I remember u have a boy! you bought my UD.

Babybots · 30/11/2009 21:00

Hi Kmummy! Ahh i wondered how you knew about my Ittis. [must continue to iron to make DH realise what a good wifey i am and how much i deserve them] lol

Scotia sorry to hear your news ((()))

Kirsty - Get the 6 for 50 quid! lol I love the Chocolate and midnight. - in fact they are all lovely [runs up to stroke the box loads upstairs] ..... but then remembers the ironing! lol Dam!!!!

KirstyJC · 30/11/2009 21:04

Hi Mumface yes I did - I tell myself if I buy 2nd hand then it doesn't count, right? That UD is still one of my favourite nappies too!

Hmm, opinion so far seems to be black - that was my gut feel when I first saw them so might go for that....

Wow - just realised that I have been recognised and remembered by someone on MN... I think I must be here more often than I realise! I am trying not to be here so often now I am back working full time, but I only need to pop on for a few minutes to be persuaded to buy another nappy....at this rate I'm going to need another baby to wear them all !!

KirstyJC · 30/11/2009 21:11

Ohh Babybots, don't tempt me!! I can't justify getting 1, let alone 6!! We already have about 10 nappies that we don't use that I can't be arsed haven't got around to selling yet...

Dh keeps mentioning that I sold him on the idea of reusables 'cos they were cheaper than disposables....but I suspect it's a close run thing! I think it would be divorce time if he spotted another 6....

Hmm, might sleep on it - the offer is on all week I see.

Octothebaglady · 30/11/2009 21:12

Mumface - there are tshirts and pom pom hats coming to match every pair of longies being made - I am sooo very excited! Waiting for images and very very very excited about new wetbag patterns!! Am in fluffyland!
