New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Check out my FB page

Nice to see you Jenny - my secret santa is sent We need to decide when we are going to open them! I don't think we should say who sent what - defeats the object a bit!

I am taking my boys into the woods ... collecting cones, leaves, twigs etc to decorate for christmas. Was going to buy some silver twigs with lights on for a vase but they were £20 so have decided on the DIY option!! Have some nice wired silver ribbon to tie up holly/ivy etc and may be really creative and make a wreath Also have some glitter pens for the kids to make some tree decs ... Wine chilling just in case.

Sal - hope your Monthly shop went well

I am also feeling the xmas love early this year, have got everything except food for the day already.
I have also posted my secret santa pressie. That bedbug is exactly the same as one of mine it was about £25 new.
Lewis asked for toilet again and did a wee at my mums. She had them for the day whilst I went xmas shopping. But then left his nappy off as he wouldn't have it on again. He then pooed all over her carpet and Elliot trod it across the floor
Am going to give the Bright Bots training pants a go tomorrow, they are just drying from a prewash.

4andnotout · 28/11/2009 20:47

Octo have you tried scrunching up carrier bags to pad the vase out first to make it stand up? If the vase is clear use cellophane.

In car on way to party only an hour late afte being caught in traffic!

treedelivery · 28/11/2009 21:42

Octo - also try sand.

NappyShedSal · 28/11/2009 21:44

Who said nappy buckets have to be a boring plain colour? Check out my profile pics!!

And my nappy purchase from Nepal are the gorgeous Nappy Bucket Daisies - they've got a sucker on the back. Drop a couple of drops of your favouite essential oil on the petals and stick to the lid of your nappy bucket. A perfect stocking filler methinks!!!

treedelivery · 28/11/2009 21:49

Wow NappyShed!! Nice!

Top tips re vase

Octothebaglady · 28/11/2009 22:35

Okay - have found them www.thenappyshed.co.uk but can;t get them to link to page. I love the flower idea - brilliant!

NappyShedSal · 28/11/2009 22:51

Ok - I think my photos should be visible now.

Octothebaglady · 28/11/2009 22:55

I like to moo one - will go great with itti moo!

Babybots · 28/11/2009 23:09

Hi all,

Just popping in really quick. Ds birthday tomorrow

Jenny i seem to remember i said the tablets are way to concentrated and suggested that they COULD be causing a build up issue hence causing your absorbtion problem. Most of the people in that thread either said they use half a tab and do a few extra rinses or are in a really hard water area... which would be fine! If it works stick with it!

I've got my hands on a nice new Bambooty to try and possibly stock! Very impressed by its slim look.

My SS present is on its way here might be a while though its got a long way to travel!

Right i hope everyone is well, im off to finish wrapping!

treedelivery · 28/11/2009 23:12

The moo is the one really isn't it? It is sooooo funky. With itti moo then I think nappy cool status would be reached

Can you imagine if someone got you that as a new baby pressi or a shower pressi or something My friend justhad her baby, wish I could afford to do that for her.

Also just went into palpitations looning at LittlePants woolies on the website and dh actually had a leer at the tirsokas jungle print pockets.

So much fluff, so little time funds!! Need another ebay seeling drive - but am anxious some of the stuff I posted doesn't seem to have arrived yet..... Oh God I hope I don't have to give refunds. I haven't enough money to be giving stuff away!! Especially my blooming Boden twinset. Am praying to patron saint of postmen they arrive.

Maybe Saint Gabriel should be the thread Saint as we are so reliant on the posties!!

Octothebaglady · 28/11/2009 23:13

Have a great day tomorrow and a happy bday to Z x

Oooh bambooty - nice! Its the pattern thing!

Scotia · 28/11/2009 23:35

Hope this message works

Hi everyone

Just can't catch up completely, I feel like I've been gone too long And I've missed Secret Santa and everything too, boo.

Anyway, just wanted to say to Tree, it was you who sent me the pattern for longies I've been using. If you want (maybe even after Christmas) you can send me some wool and I'll knit it into longies for you to pay you back I can have a pair knitted up in a few days. I have a thread on CNT members photos of K's latest ones if you want to see my work in action.

Might be best to get me on Facebook atm though, my nanna's not doing too well and we are kind of preparing ourselves for the worst. I wouldn't like to miss a message from you on here if I'm not around for a few days.

treedelivery · 28/11/2009 23:41

Oh Scotia - big hugs and support vibes for the next few weeks. Hang in there mrs, and we'll see you back in the thread when you are back in the fluffy groove.

Take great care. Thats a very kind offer, never you mind about knitting for me, I'm glad you have found the pattern usefull. I think they cost all of £4 easch so hardly a huge outlay Take it easy.

If anyone alse wants to have a wooly go, I have the patterns on the computer so very easy to email out to you

mumface · 29/11/2009 10:16

If anybody likes funky bandana bibs , these have a sale on TinyEco
I've had one to try and they are really nice. They also do fleece wraps. I have ordered a skulls on red fleece changing mat to use as a seat protector in pushchair for when Lewis toilet trains.
