New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

That just takes me to my ebay page - what's your ebay name? Mine's sallyeccdrake - currently got 36 items listed and have sold 12 - have been ebaying madly just recently and still got more to add.

Have also been freecycling loads which is immensely satisfying! Yesterday I got rid of 40 cooked baked poatatoes on Freecycle - that has got to be one of the strangest things ever listed!!!

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 12:07

OMG - can you make me a shepherds costume - need it by friday!???!! But to fit G's size - DS2 is tall!

treedelivery · 29/11/2009 12:07

Ok - imagination working overtime. Why did you have 40 cooked baked potatoes?

I know fancy one, with beans and loads of cheese and some salad. Argh!!

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 12:08

I like the stripey fabric.

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 12:09

beans or cheese on top??? Cheese on top here! and like beans on toast with cheese on top and spaghetti over cheese on toast ... yummy - hungry now! Luckily have maltesers!

treedelivery · 29/11/2009 12:11

Cheese on top!

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 12:12

I am having a clearance as having website overhaul tonight ... whole new layout and navigation - well thats the plan anyway.

Moving towards just Nappies2GoGo, Add2It Kits and my distrubution products ... eeek!!! Bit changes ahead.

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 12:14

big not bit lol

I like the tiny eco stuff - have seen it before - have been in touch about stocking it but they just don't have the margins - as the prices are so low - like the velcro closing. Am wondering if anyone makes popper closing fleece covers? WN or minkee maybe?

NappyShedSal · 29/11/2009 12:23

It was the school fair on Friday night and we overestimated teh number of baked potatoes taht we would sell. We had 100 left over!!! I managed to use about 40 making leek and potato soup and cheesy mashed potato to go in the freezer. We had baked potatoes with beans and cheese (also leftovers) for lunch yesterday. Today it's baked potatoes with chilli (another fair leftover!). I put 60potatoes on Freeccle and 40 got collected. So I've now only got about 15 left!!!

Octo - what length do you want the shepherds costume - I can make it today and put in with teh Pumpkin pants (which are packaged up and ready to go) if you're serious. As I said they are going to basic handmade tabard style, but it's what my girls always wear, and what I made for 20 shepherds at my school a few years ago.

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 12:28

Yes - definitely - lifesaver! I think would be good to go down to his knees - so same as G's knees if you have the fabric. If not can be shorter - not fussy really. If you have enough fabric to do a matching head tea towel thing aswell that would be fab!

You should advertise your costume making more widely!!!

Thanks

swampster · 29/11/2009 12:37

Octo, you can build your own popper fleece wrap at Wee Notions! I have had one in my basket many times but managed to resist as we use wool longies and shorties with fitteds and I already have a bunch on lovely fleece wraps lying about unused.

treedelivery · 29/11/2009 12:41

I think if I had to burgle one house it might be yours swampster

Is burgle a word?

DD2 insists on trying to grow out of her beehinds magic-all's. Yet she is well within the weight range. They sag under their weight when they are fully wet This is bad as have 0p to buy more and I do do do like them. They look so comfortable! Pig to dry though.

If anyone sees anyone selling any large, let me know

Babybots - we don't have any absorbancy problems. We were having some smelly nappies though. BUT when we increased the amount of washing powder and added an extra rinse to make up for it. That seems to have solved it now. I have the gel now anyway which seems to work really well. We have really hard water so need more detergent then some anyway.

Nappyshed - Love the buckets! Wish I could have some leftover jacket potatoes! Sound yummy! Feel hungry now!

Am hoping to send off my SS tomorrow - are we wrapping it in xmas paper inside the parcel? Worried it won't be liked!

mumface · 29/11/2009 18:22

Yes Jenny I think xmas paper inside a poly/paper bag, then it can be opened initially. I have a few parcels coming with various fluffy bits and xmas pressies for the boys, wouldn't want to accidently see pressie!

My custom Puddlesnug for Connors xmas pressie has been shipped already, am so excited don't think I can wait til xmas to see it!
Lewis has been weeing on potty all day with one wee and a poo caught the training pants. Did put an Itti AIO on him to go to the pub at lunchtime but it was dry when we got back

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 19:45

I love the puddlekins blanket thing and snuggly - very cute!

X factor results - who will go????

mumface · 29/11/2009 19:47

Gotta b Lloyd to go. Want Ollie, Danyl and Joe in final 3. Joe to win.

Octothebaglady · 29/11/2009 19:51

I agree - Joe to win. Lloyd to go.

treedelivery · 29/11/2009 19:56

What is a puddlesnug? Off to check it out.

I have a puddlekins nappy, it is our nappy for rash days. It is sooooo squishy.
