New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Woke up feeling rotton ,walked school run in pouring rain and have let Lewis have 2 bags of crisps for breakfast just for the peace Ah don't you just love Monday mornings. At least I got some sleep, 7 and half hours and didn't get woken once (miracle)
Hope you're getting over bug daisy and get those blasted worms sorted today.
Am mentally visualising Babybots Bedbugs being released from customs

My moocow itti came today and it isn't as nice as i expected, it isn't black and white it's patchy grey and white Oh well might as well keep it now it is here

LittlePants · 16/11/2009 14:17

Sorry all. Been AWOL! Very busy week last week, as DH was pilot on the launch of the latest submarine in Barrow! Quite an event really, but it meant him coming and going at all hours all last week! However, he finally got her out to sea yesterday, so that's the end of that! He's actually got a rare day off today!

I also am organizing a Children in Need event this week, so n time to read all that's gone on since I last looked! Anyway, I just thought I should stock my head in to let you know I'm still alive and kicking!

Octothebaglady · 16/11/2009 14:29

oooh no 4 - shame about the grey cow! What a disappointment!

Littlepants - welcome back!

I heard that it was very quiet at the designer baby show yesterday - did anyone go? Won't be booking for next year then!

Haven't done anything was meant to last time I posted!

I am so not with it today, I just started hanging some wet nappies on the radiator to dry, thinking they were still a bit whiffy. Then realised I had only done the pre-rinse and they wern't even washed yet

LackaDAISYcal · 16/11/2009 22:08

lol mumface, I do that all the time!

finished my longies . They are lovely, if a bit wibbly about the legs (I hate double pointed needles)

I've tried to upload a pic, but it keeps crashing! Was keen to get started on another pair; but DD snapped the tip off my circular needle . And all she could say about it was....."it'll live" (our standard response to anyone falling over here is "you'll live"!!)

knackered and ill here; meant to be doing my (postponed from last week) nappy demo for a local NCT group tomorrow, but really worried about spreading my germs around. Not sure this is just a normal cold as I have some alarming symptoms, not least the horrible jaw swelling over the weekend. But....really concerned how professional I'll look cancelling again . Although as a group of parents I'm hoping that they will understand. Worst case scenario is that they won't want to arrange a further date. I shall see how I feel in the morning.

4 at you not feeling the love for your new itti....maybe it'll grow on you?

LackaDAISYcal · 17/11/2009 09:53

Did my talk of worms scare everyone off?

Flip it's quiet round here!

mumface · 17/11/2009 09:55

Boo I'm here!

4andnotout · 17/11/2009 09:57

I'm here

I checked dd3 and dd4's bum franticly the other day thinking they had worms but it was actually the fluff from the nappy I did think it were strange that they hadn't been scratching

I have just shown dp approved by kayleigh website and he has told me after xmas i have free rein to buy the dd's what i want as long as i only buy a couple of items a week I love the purple ooga booga dress in 18-24 but i dont know if it would fit dd3 for long

Octothebaglady · 17/11/2009 10:09

A couple of items a week ACE!

I am off to work

mumface · 17/11/2009 10:28

I think babies should have nappies for xmas - It's an appropriate gift right?
Or get them some ABK for Xmas like Myjob has.

LackaDAISYcal · 17/11/2009 10:53

lol and then I disappeared!

I don't know approved by kayleigh....dare I look?

work

I have cabin fever. Other than the school run I've only been out twice in over a week and that was to stay and play and to the supermarket. I feel rough as well and have a one year old who is going through a phase of sleep refusal. As soon as he sees his cot he starts screaming, even if he is asleep on his feet before taking him up. no fun at 4.30 am the last two mornings.
