New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Octo, I'm also meant to be giving up drinking...at least in the week. I can manage one night off, but by teatime the next day I'm on my knees and gagging for red wine

at the chocolates on the doorstep. Good for you and your exDH keeping things...erm...amicable ; is there no chance of another extra-post-marital baby then?

Feeling horrible here; the underside of my tongue is sore and swollen; feels like I have too much tongue for my gob.

I'm also currently grappling with the first leg of my longies shorties and it's like knitting with a blinking hedgehog. But...I have carried out my first ever kitchener graft and since ripping it all out and starting again thanks to bumble pulling it all apart yesterday morning , my short rows are looking much better too. Don't know how all these WAHM's do this to make a living though

lol Octo, I would eat cakes that weren't great as well, just for the sake of eating a cake.

What's the weather like your way Sal? I would take a view on travel plans tomorrow depending on the weather.

No fluffy post for me today, but I got a copy of the breastfeeding video I did back in May, so have been cringing at myself and thinking I looked bloody rough. But my back had siezed up and I was up to my eyeballs on co-codamol and diclofenac!

mumface · 14/11/2009 21:40

at the thought of Connor being my 'extra-post-marital baby'!

mumface · 14/11/2009 22:01

Am a bit about my MF wipes bag I acccidently left it in my changing bag for 2 days with damp wipes inside in a teatree/lavender solution. It grew a line of mould on the outside cotton and the stain has not washed out. Am surprised it happened after only 2 days with teatree being anti fungal. Don't understand how it happened as the dampness was still inside. (my changing bag was dry too)

Octothebaglady · 14/11/2009 22:18

mumface - oh dear! I think it is probably the solution that caused the mould as don't think would happen with just water - I have left mine in for a few days and haven't been mouldy - bit smelly but not mouldy. I'm not sure what would get mould out of fabric - try vanish or something and if doesn't work, post it back - which pattern is it?

Thanks Octo, but I couldn't return it, it's my own fault for leaving it in there. It's the traffic Jam one and the solution was Punkin Butt. Very strange. I have a bar of Vanish will try that.

mumface · 14/11/2009 22:56

I got my WNNN today I love the red inner but will have to wash separate for a while, I also got tfis week a bamboo WNNN and red/green oogabooga instock ones so thats 3 m/l bedbugs and 3 WNNN I have now for Connor. I think I will get a Toddler size Bedbug when BabyBots's arrive for Lewis. Connor is already on the middle setting of m/l Bedbugs and he's only 5mths old! (and he was only 6lb at birth)

Octothebaglady · 15/11/2009 10:28

Mumface - Is there an ingredient list on the packaging for the punkin butt solution? Maybe Jenny will be able to tell us if not. I am obviously keen to know as if certain solutions cause mould, I need to have a warning on the website. Will need to do some testing!! Your OuchPouch will be in post tomorrow first class.

Why can't we have fluffy post on a sunday??!!

Right - need to do some ironing

Off to a Christmas Fair this afternoon then yummy roast lamb for dinner.

Octothebaglady · 15/11/2009 10:52

Will sort the secret santa in next couple of days so email me if you haven't already - think have about 6 so far - [email protected]

mumface · 15/11/2009 11:49

Myjob Connor is about 16lb, but my m/l 's fit Lewis, just and he's 30lb so I reckon it will be fine on Naomi. Connor is middle poppers on Legs, smallest on waist. He tends to pull his legs up when I change him so I can't do the poppers any tighter as I don't want him to be uncomfortable.
MF bag out the wash, vanish almost got the mould stain out but it's still faintly there.

mumface · 15/11/2009 19:19

Have just compared Bedbug to WNNN it's about 2cm smaller than large WNNN in the rise and largest waist/leg poppers on Bedbug are about same size as a WNNN on middle settings.

Evening all

No fluffy post yesterday i think i'll have to pm her and see if she has posted yet.

I'm so tempted by the pp funds but im trying to save enough to buy dp an xbox 360 without using any of the house/his wage money just so that it can really be from me iyswim?

DD3 had a fabulous day today and didn't have any accidents, she has been having maybe one or two a day so today was fantastic!

evening all. I have the DC's lurgy. My throat and tongue were so swollen this morning that I was googling mumps! the swellling has gone down a lot now, but my nose has started streaming instead.

re the mould, I managed to get some mildew out of a fine cotton lace blouse using vanish oxi stuff; worth a punt? this is one of the reasons washable wipes are a nono for me, as I'm so forgetful I'd have bags of rotting wipes and solution everywhere

I have a bit of an icky question. I think bumble has threadworms and [squirm]. what should I do re nappies? He has been in ppaper all day. Do they need a 60 degree wash? Does anyone even know? I've dosed the older two with the medicine we got for DS1 last year when he had them (don't think they have them now, just a precaution), but bumble can't get it as he's under two. does anyone know if he can have any medicine. I feel horrified, and am blaming the sandpit at stay and play!!

mumface · 15/11/2009 22:52

I have stinkin cold too here
Have googled there is a medicine for under 2's but must be prescribed by a doctor.
I would think a 60degree wash should kill them.
