New thread.

May our nights be dry, our days free of wicking, and may growth spurts coincide with lovely new fluffy product releases. Hurrah!

Hi all, Mumsnet is not behaving well for me atm. I keep losing my posts. Just popping in to try and let you know at least

thebluefoxategreensocks · 17/11/2009 22:58

myjob: the longies look fantastic! Well done!

We've all got nasty cold/flu and feeling miserable! Spent the past 4 days basically doing nothing but sitting and comforting little boys! First it was Benjamin and today it was Clement, tho now Benjamin seems to be getting bad again when I thought he was better! And I'm feeling worse tonight, which isn't surprising after the exhaustion of sick kids!

Hope everyone else is well!

mumface · 17/11/2009 23:11

Sorry to hear you're all poorly Rachel, it's awful looking after sick kids when you are ill yourself isn't it. You just want to go to bed but you can't
Keep with us Scotia

LackaDAISYcal · 17/11/2009 23:37

wow at your longies myjob...mine look pretty shabby in comparison (pics finally on profile)

The legs on mine, knitted on DPNs have gone all wonky and I'm a bit disappointed, so...I'm knitting pants this time

My cold is still lingering too rachel, so I sympathise with you. My No1 is coming down with it as well

lempsip and a reasonably early night for me, if I can put this bloody knitting down.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 18/11/2009 00:18

4andnotout · 18/11/2009 11:18

Woohoo secret Santa shopping here I come!!!

Babybots · 18/11/2009 11:48

Hi Everyone,

Looking for a bit of feedback if possible, have put some pics on my profile. Any chance you could have a looksie and let me know what you think

mumface · 18/11/2009 12:16

They're gorgeous fabrics Babybots, similar to Minilala ,love black n white one best. Can you tell us more?

4andnotout · 18/11/2009 12:38

Love the photos Babybots, i too liked the black and white best. Are they fitteds? If they are pockets are they cotton outers as i find they have a tendancy to wick.

Babybots · 18/11/2009 12:51

Mumface and 4 - All I know at present is that they are designer fabrics with a hidden layer of PUL and PUL panels along the sides to ensure there is no leaking.

They are pockets

Have a couple on their way to inspect in a purely business fashion .

NappyShedSal · 18/11/2009 12:56

Babybots - I know what those nappies are - I have been looking at importing them too, but haven't had any reply to the latest emails, so I guess you've beaten me to it??
They do look gorgeous though.

I think you can buy anything for them really - think most would prefer a nappy type present but could be wipes/bags etc too. Can be preloved - most people said they didn't want prefolds hahaha - did make me chuckle!!

I would label it secret santa and just leave it at that - send it direct to the person in the email.

I have no secret santa atm - couldn't send to myself and was odd person SO we need more!!! Anyone else email me on [email protected]

Babybots - Like the look of the new nappies - same fabric as mini lala so not sure whether would be worth getting more of - depends how good it is I suppose... the black one matches the MF bags!! Haven't tried a mini lala either though. Are you getting some aswell Sal?

Having my lounge painted tomorrow so need to go and move everything ...

4andnotout · 18/11/2009 13:16

Myjob i think the secret santa is up to 10 pounds roughly, can be preloved, can be nappy orientated or not, you can wrap and label and send it anonomously to the reciepiant and then we guess who sent what. Correct me if im wrong on any points everyone
