Don't know anything about balinitis but suggest you do a really hot wash of all your nappies to eliminate any lurking fungi.

I'm not keen on fleece liners as I've found they can make nappy rash worse, and paper liners are very damp. Had a silk liner once and liked it very much but treated it with disrespect when washing so it didn't like me much in the end. Not tried silver but like the sound of it.

A good night nappy like a BBH bamboo or HL Bedbug might keep him dryer by day as well, my DS is often pretty dry in the morning in a BBH. Fleece or wool instead of PUL might help too.

Wouldn't use lavender - possibly not great for boys.

You can soak your wipes in solution, then squeeze them out and keep them in a tupperware tub or a waterproof bag like monkeyfoot ones.

Hi everybody. Sorry been mad here and has just taken me ages to catch up, and eveytime I got to the end, I refreshed and you had all been chatting again! Lol

I have been busy making lots of fleece wipes to add to my site. Had the fleece for weeks and haven't had any time to do it! SHould have at least put them on the site so I could make to order! Oh well.

My lollipop order still hasn't arrived I need some quick drying nappies! So annoyed at royal mail! AND I have several pairs of longies that I am waiting for and they haven't come!

Elouise's custom pair are nearly ready though!

When little ones have nappy rash I always just use plain water for the wipes, rather than a solution as then there is nothing that can upset it more. And I do a quick wash after the main wash cycle with no powder to make sure all detergent is gone too.

ellieloooooooooooooween · 23/10/2009 22:26

Hi all will try to catch up later got so much to do these days, DH is away and dishwasher went on fire last night had to phone 999 and get dd's and me out of the house all ok though thankfully.
Did get 2 LP fleece nappies yesterday though so happy about that.
Hope everyone is ok

LatinDAISYcal · 23/10/2009 23:36

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 24/10/2009 08:47

Quick post - silver liners are fab for nappy rash - on the site - someone will point you in right direction!

Busy day again

Have bit of a cold.

treedelivery · 24/10/2009 12:31

Hi all!!

Harriet in silk as we speak, much poo today.

Also in cushie tushie with cat patch [from nappywardrobe.co.uk who may also do silk liners , pics on fb!! The nappy seems a good fit, though maybe her legs are a bit skinny. Who does cushie tushies? Jenny does at nappyweb Ithink?

Hope all are well, sorry to have missed so much chat!
Glad ds had a good birthday 4.

ellie - very glad your dishwasher didn't burn your house down!!! All that nappy flush up in flames [along with pics and other precious things of coure.....]

SO on that topic everyone - if you could only save one nappy, which would it be?

treedelivery · 24/10/2009 12:31

Answer: the one covered in poo and at the bottom of a very full nappy bucket of course.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 24/10/2009 13:09

Yes I do cushies! Am doing a new order soon too if anybody wants to preorder. Will be getting the new prints in too.

mumface - GOt the fluffles today! Thank you, they are fab! Will use them at next change. They are bigger than I thought so I am quite confident they will fit. Quite bulky arn't they! Lol. Think big bum alert. Will be fine for at home though and will just add to my winter stash of quick drying nappies which is going to keep me sane!

treedelivery · 24/10/2009 13:13

HI Jenny.

I have hung onto some fluffles for that very reason!! Do you think they woul dwork well at night, like the microfleece do? Or are they too furry? If they did that would rock, as I am poor but haven't enough lollipop microfleece really.
Not getting on with my preloved bumhuggers. They pong and are so so wet in the morning. Yak.

Can we see new ct prints?

ANy ideas for my halloween name? SOmeone hit on a great eggg donation name, but would liek a halloween one in meantime

treedelivery · 24/10/2009 13:18

Financial melt down not helped by late night shopping accident last night!!

this in pale pink, I've gone for HattieSaurus. Nocturnal plant eater.

Fab!!

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 24/10/2009 15:31

I think they would be good overnight - people seem to like them in the trial kits.

treedelivery · 24/10/2009 16:23

Will try tonight!

Babybots · 24/10/2009 16:54

New CT prints can be found on their aussie store. Someone else stocks them too

Babybots · 24/10/2009 17:15

Octo & Tree have emailed you

purplesal · 24/10/2009 17:21

I was trying to explain to someone about wool - she is the most beautiful knitter - and as I don't sell it (yet??) where can I show her some beautiful woolies and longies online please?

Also do you think there is a need for more wool stuff. I would hate for her to knit stuff that then does't sell.

treedelivery · 24/10/2009 17:43

Just been mooching about BabyBots. I want more money! Or somesort of monthly nappy allowance from a generous benefactor .

Got mail BB.
