so Octo, you will need some nappy testers to test out new nappies for you then

Well done to DS3; my DD who is a month younger than your DS I think (June 07) has been out of day nappies for three weeks and night nappies for about two weeks now. She has the occasionaly daytime accident, but has yet to wet the bed! I thought it would be much harder than this.

V.tired so going up to bed now, night x

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 21:52

ooh pink or to match itti bag then???

mumskullface · 22/10/2009 22:01

Can't resist charm of keyring either
Any babywearers here? I have never used a sling before.
Got a peanut shell Amy Coe sling today for £12 from TKMaxx in lovely blue/choc swirly fabric.

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 22:03

I have been a babywearer but not for long periods of time as always felt they were too heavy (((note: laxy mummy))) - have been dealing with slingtastic recently and she seems to know her stuff. Natural Mamas is a great website for sling wearers/attached parenting/cloth nappies etc

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 22:04

lazy not laxy

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 22:09

Is it wrong to try to extract the remnants of my choc eclairs off the plastic packaging even though I have already eaten two???! {grin] It just seems to be stuck on that I have to make a real effort to scrape it off and thought maybe was being a tad over indulgent wanting the remains too Kind of like the bottom fo the roast potato tin where all the small bits of yummy crispy potatoes live!

mumskullface · 22/10/2009 22:10

Octo, I have had a look at that site through your website link. I feel another addiction coming on..

LatinDAISYcal · 22/10/2009 22:12

Octo, have an eclair for me ......before I was diagnosed as coeliac, eclairs and profiteroles were my all time favourite cakes.

I tried baby wearing with DS2, but he absolutely hated it and almost struggled out of my sling a few times (a very stretchy baby buddha) and I could never get the hang of the close baby carrier that I got from a friend. He hated being swaddled as well, odd child!

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 22:19
Grin
swampster · 22/10/2009 22:23

DS1 loved slings, DS2 HATED them, DS3 loves them. I've tried loads and my comfiest and easiest is my Papoozle.

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 22:26

Swampster - your ds was completly zonked out in it at the baby show - very cute

swampster · 23/10/2009 08:31

Thank you. And how were the eclairs?

Babybots · 23/10/2009 08:45

Morning Chatty people!

Had another nightmare night with my teething monster.

I love my close baby carrier had a tomy freestyle one before but hated it. Ds loved it when he was tiny and now loves facing out at the world! Best thing i brought.

Hmmm i need to go and look at keyrings!

Babybots · 23/10/2009 09:36

Ahh found them!

Octo i thought you were hiding from me for a minute then i searched high and low!!!

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 23/10/2009 11:35

(no ironing done yet ...)

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 23/10/2009 11:48

Babybots · 23/10/2009 12:33

EdgarAllenPoo · 23/10/2009 12:51

#@babybots I love them, they're so furry....although as they do make good night nappies i only see them night & morning...shame its not summer so he can't crawl around with his booty to the breeze.

still have fire opal eh - how cme the page for minky poppers isn't working? (from my tired old laptop anyway)

mumskullface · 23/10/2009 13:36

I've just gone into the kitchen only to find a whole cucumber has been raided from the side after making them sandwiches & is now being used as a sword & has bite marks all down oneside!!
The house is a mess, I am not even bothering to get dressed today. I am coping really well, honestly
I think I need an XL MF bag. In almond sparrows to ditch my 2 small buckets.
