Myjob - I am getting the purple longies! Had a message from her before I read your messages! I have lots of preloved longies on the way! Thought the purple ones were gorgeous, but not sure if they will fit. But we will see!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 22/10/2009 07:52

There is some lanonlin on the wool board on cnt, somebody has asked about it though so not sure if its gone. I am getting some longies from her hopefully.

I think you would need more than a peasize amount of lanolin babybots, even for just a soaker I think. I usually do a few woolies at a time and use a heaped teaspoon. But however much you use, just mix with hot water and a bit of baby bath and then when it cools down, add your woolies!

I have just ordered 2 baby pillows reccommended to me by the plagiocephaly experts at the baby show, previously called Goigoi pillows, now Lilla Kuddis. Both Lewis & Connor have flat heads on one side at the back.Lewis has blonde curls so it's not too noticable. I have been concerned about Connors for a while but he doesn't need a helmet as they said it's not severe.I am doing repositioning aswell.

Morning all!!!!!

Jenny - Just relaying info and instructions i got with my wool wrap directly from swaddlebees! Along with a sample of lasinoh to do it with.

Lasinoh is 100% lanolin so im guessing is more than fine, and obviously recomended by swaddlebees!

Anyway will pop in post today myjob!

I only use Lansinoh, its 100% lanolin, pharmacy grade and so totally pure. I put a good round teaspoon in a cup, pour a bit of boiling water on, squirt a bit of something with soap in [no use using our baby wash as we use soap adn sls free products or olive oil]] and mix it up to dissolve the lanonlin. Pour into very tepid hand warm water, and soak wool for ages, but no more than over night.

They are sticky when dry, and you panic you have ruined them. But when you take them off bubba next day, she has the most soft skin imaginable. Its briliant for dry skin flare ups

Yay for new nappies myjob

Hello Been out all day and now have kids in halloween costumes faffing about!

Just to let anyone know who is waiting that the bags will be here end next week/start next and that the draw for the pop n gro bag/accessory kit will take place at the same time and posted out.

Fleece is def working well for us overnight and can use over softee/sandys or tots nappies with success - yeah!! The longies look lovely but have def decided fleece is the way for us. Maybe some fleece longies

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 16:55

Check out my FB

LatinDAISYcal · 22/10/2009 17:32

oooh octo, sound very cute....will be back later to check them out

at the new nappies. I'm not allowed to buy anything else until I have done some serious selling.

Met with the council today though and it was really positive. I hope she will come to me when she is looking to revamp the trial pack in a few months time, but in meantime I am on their local suppliers list and she is going to note that I provide a local advice service as well

Am off on holiday on Saturday for a week and trying to convince DH that we need to take cloth nappies with us; he isn't convinced, but since we are only using one sposie a day I feel horrible about the fact we'll be using them for a week.

oh and I was back at the wool shop today and got some more wool for a pair of longies for DD (potty trained but wants some trews!) as well as some DPNs and stitch holders to complete my soaker longies (resisted the fancy beaded stitch markers though!)

So far these things have cost me about £25 in needles and £16 in wool....could have had a custom pair for much less . tis good fun knitting them though

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 21:04

No worries daisy re postage.

I thought my dh would flip when he first saw it, in fact everyone who has seen mine loves it - they say it is so appropriate for me - even the sub postmaster liked it!! She introduces me to people as the lady who sells nappies! (Luckily not as the lady whose children snaffle all the sweets, wreck the toys, squeeze the life out of the squeezy toys or get shouted at for picking up every item in the shop ))))

Octothebigblackscaryspider · 22/10/2009 21:05

Yes - last ds out of nappies - have tried before and went well for two months then he started weeing everywhere so went back into nappies!....

EdgarAllenPoo · 22/10/2009 21:10

@babybots - i think i have your last two blueberry poppers in blue latte and green latte!
