Littlepants - can do that on Cloth Nappy Forum. Under WAHM wonders. It's the only place I know that welcomes it.
Can you pm me by the way - I can't send you an email

LittlePants · 03/10/2009 13:57

Oh thanks. Will look at that. Not paid to PM! look me up on FB - alison wood or email me through the contact in the shop;)

TheNattyTheHippy · 03/10/2009 14:00

Ah - Cloth Nappy Tree Forum! Got it, but I meant a whole forum with ONLY WAHM's nappies on it.

I reckon new mums, searching for good nappies may not get as far as the WAHMs forum on CNT.

If a new forum was called something like

'The BEST Cloth Nappies Forum' it would be easier to make it visible on Google.

There is another forum where advertising is allowed and encouraged, and that's Damsels.org Forum

TheNattyTheHippy · 03/10/2009 14:32

alot of people new to cloth nappies dont know what WAHM are, i assumed it was a part of the board for sellers only at first.

no fluff here again today

need to re-rinse my dyed nappies.. ellen had a bit of a blue bum this morning lol

LittlePants · 03/10/2009 14:38

All my nappies have now had- 40 wash with full dose bold, 2 rinses, 3 hours in vinegar and water, rinse and 60 wash with nothing.

(took all bloody day) Should i now consider them stripped????????

Or considering 1 wash with soda crystals and 2 rinses?????

HATE ponginess

Babybots · 03/10/2009 19:41

myjob - Email me through the website and I will let you know, don't want to post details on here as it seems whenever you put a bit of info like that it gets deleted !!

TheNattyTheHippy · 03/10/2009 19:55

The things I've learnt from you lot! I stripped my nappies this week - never heard of it before. I started with soaking in vinegar then washed with bio powder and then put them through 4 wash cycles until no more suds. I sometimes use biological powder anyway, are you not supposed to? My EH are still stiff but I usually put them in the tumble drier to finish off and soften up.

DD2 back in proper nappies today and her thighs have no sore patches. I haven't tried pockets or ittis yet just fitted with wool shorties.

I wish somebody would boost my paypal account

rusmum · 03/10/2009 20:30

did 1 extra rinse for luck!!! lol will keep you posted!

purplesal · 03/10/2009 21:41

Ager - we may all be very helpful here and can work wonders, but boosting a paypal account isn't that easy. You can boost cotton , bamboo, hemp, microfibre. You can boost, all-in-ones, 2-parters, birth-to-potties and pockets. But you can't boost a paypal account - sorry to disappoint.

Babybots · 03/10/2009 22:27

purplesal thats very funny! giggling to myself! lol

TheNattyTheHippy · 03/10/2009 22:30

Not had time to catch up on thread yet - been busy knitting. I've finished one pair of longies and nearly finished another. I'll post action pics when they are both done and I get a minute.
