Jenny, how is DD today? Did you and she manage to sleep last night?

ooooh, a preloved section is a fab idea for getting rid of surplus fluff!!

what mac did you get mumface? I have a chicco for the car and I HATE it with a passion so want to trade up to a baby jogger city mini.....need to be able to push one handed whilst holding DD's hand.

I got a Maclaren quest mod in black/pea green. I had one years ago & loved it. It got accidently broken by ex folding it & I have always wanted another. I will also need to hold Lewis's hand when Connor is in it, but it is quite light so think I can still steer it ok.

Octo - Just make sure they don't get confused with the cheeky wipes sets!

Talia is more poorly today, she has such a sore throat, can't even cry properly .

LatinDAISYcal · 12/10/2009 19:59

aw poor DD Jenny

Octothechildherder · 12/10/2009 21:04

Its meant to draw on their marketing lol!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 12/10/2009 21:18

She has at least started sleeping again. Slept last night well, kept waking up but went back to sleep with a dummy (which she doesnt usually have).

Have used my bamboo sandys today and have to say, I am impressed with the absorbancy.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 12/10/2009 21:33

Do any of you know, whats more absorbant, a LP micro or a LP softee?

Octothechildherder · 12/10/2009 21:45

Softee is more absorbent

Hope Talia gets better soon

newspaperdelivery · 12/10/2009 21:46

I think the softee, but I prefer the micro. We use it with a breathable layer and wee condenses off really quickly. If you are using a pul layer I think the softee would be more absorbant.

newspaperdelivery · 12/10/2009 21:48

I'd quite like a cream or pale pink Itti Jenny - though she wont be in med much longer.

Hope Talia feels better soon.

Octothechildherder · 12/10/2009 22:02

OMG I have just had the best idea tree!!

newspaperdelivery · 12/10/2009 22:04

Can I have commission?

Octothechildherder · 12/10/2009 22:06

Have emailed you - you can road test it!

Octothechildherder · 12/10/2009 22:23

Octothechildherder · 12/10/2009 22:34

I'm off to bed now - hot choc for me though!

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 12/10/2009 22:37

Lol. I am about to take lap top up to bed too. Hubby here tonight but doing night shift tomorrow.

I did have a softee before, sold it to natty but it was very different to the one in my lollipop kit?

I think I am going to buy a LP micro set and then decide how much of it to keep and how much to sell on.

newspaperdelivery · 12/10/2009 22:58

I think older ones were really shaggy fabric, the newer ones a tighter 'snowball' effect. Well, I got 2 new ones at the babyshow last year and then 2 preloved and I found that.

Laptop and lemon tart in bed for me

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 12/10/2009 23:15

Which ones did you prefer? I didn't really like the one I had but TBH I think I only used it once (was preloved) and then passed it on to natty, who did say it needed striping so that might have been why. Just wondering if I should give softees another go or just buy some micros. I just want some quick drying nappies really as because mine are both heavy wetters (although not as bad as they were) I have all super absorbant nappies that take days to dry inside and I think it is going to really bug me over the winter. I am happy to add an EP hemp to the micros, which is what I do with my size 1s (outside the nappy) although if you are saying the best bit is them evaporating the wee then maybe I would be better not to boost? We use fleece or wool most of the time, sometimes PUL in the day.
