If you use fleece and wool most of the time then micro all the way I would say. Although I know they are heavier wtters than dd2 so I guess getting one softee to try might be wise?

Maybe boost a fleece if they are going to be sitting in a highchair for a good while or generally not up to much - but if it's a normal day thundering about hopefully all will condense off for you.

Hope so anyway! Sounds ideal. I also think the micro has a drier feel next to the skin [comparing to the shaggy softee one, I think the tighter softee one might be better]

I think they are good, but quite a price for a basic though hard workign nappy. Dry uber uber quick though.

JennyPennyNAPPYWEB · 13/10/2009 00:04

Well the sets are half price at the moment, so hoping to get some for Nappyweb and for me. So the set itself was better value than single ones and then thats halved again, so works well at the moment.

Whew - lots of chat to catch up on!
Been really busy over the weekend - parent craft class talk on Saturday, home visit Sunday, filled the new store with nappies which took ages, but has left LOADS OF SPACE elsewhere!!!! DH has now been able to seal and paint the new garage floor. It WAS full of nappies, but is now empty - may get the car in it before the frosts arrive!!

JennPenny have PM'ed your drop ship code. Where are you planning to camp in France, 'cos I can recommend a SUPERB alpine site.

I'm sure there was something else I wanted to answer as well, but have to get laptop off knee in bed, as the alarm man is coming at 9:00! Catch up later (I hope!)

Littlepants - got your PM but there was no code? Unless I am being blind?

Off to chessington world of adventures this morning and then thorpe park in the afternoon if we get time (We have annual passes) with my Mum. Using my bamboo sandys and UD fitteds for Talia and not sure what for Elouise yet. She has a clwt twt on at the moment for reliability for the car journey etc.

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 10:53

Sounds a great deal Jenny.

Enjoy your day.

Littlepants - good work on nappy sorting!

I have a load having a soak in the bath in loads of water. Thet stank so hoping a soak in nappyfresh and some mega rinses will do good work.

I want a washer I can set water level on. I almost wish ours would break.....no. No I can't afford a new one.

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 11:02

LittlePants - have you got a hedgehog pocket [the coolmax ones] in stock? A friend would like one. I am being dense and can't see your contact details on the website

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 12:30

The old style softees were white - the new version are vanilla - the very first ones also had a very slimline booster (almost a fleece liner) the new ones have wellsoft woven into the core of the booster so they are more absorbent.

Jenny - the micros are £120 - which is £80 off RRP - so not quite half price but def a good deal esp if you like tots covers. I personally would sell them with a pack of bamboo boosters so people can use them overnight. I have asked Head office to send you a show ticket - the advisor club forum hasn't been set up yet. I don't think they intend to combine the existing advisors with the new ones yet - but am also waiting for a trade forum!

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 12:36

OOOO I haven't got one of those at all then the Octo!

I have new-to-me size one [got at show in Oct] that looks loke a snowball, and pre;loved size 2 that looks like a snowball that had a bad shaggy perm in the early 90's.

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 12:50

The newborn mini size are white - sorry to confuse - you might have bought it from me then lol! We only really take them to baby shows - in fact we may have sold out now.

I had a perm in the 80's and 90's and my hairdresser says they are coming back! But he thinks more people would go for it if they called it a wave lol lol

Have opted for the rainbow patch over the cat - looks very cute lol

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 12:53

the size two would have been the original white ones then if it looks like a white snowball rather than a cream snowball

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 12:54

Aww. Patch play!!

That sheds light on the softee. Those newborn ones are so lovely. dd1 hused them as two pillows in her car seat on the long drive home from London - she looked like she had furry microphones on

Now want new fleece and softee. Dammit.

Maybe it was you Octo I got a £50 bundle at closing on the last day. The lady had a lovley wrap dress on, I think black with green swirls or something. Like you could rememeber. I don't know how you can reel all the stuff off time and time again. Respect!

swampster · 13/10/2009 13:04

I don't get patches or embroidery for fluff - it's like tattoos, I don't really get them, either. The only ones I'v been tempted by are the bee Bedbugs at Jabula - they are so sweet.

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 13:12

After much faffing about have gone for the cat again! I will take a photo for you swampster

Daisy Did you get the babyjogger city mini ?

OP posts:
Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 13:28

Myjob - yes - but thought they would be here by now - am going to go to PO and find out if they are at customs or are waiting to be collected - thought you would like your BG . Have you tried silver liners for nappy rash? Will pop one in with the ouch pouch and a pot of gold to see if it helps. I don't have any night nappies going spare atm - have you tried fleece liners?

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 13:30

myjob - Wool. Wool or fleece is the answer. Well, it was in our house where ME makes dd red and I never thought an AIO or pocket would be enough for the night. So it's microfleece or bumhugger nappy and wool or fleece wrap, and no red bits at all.

Poor little woman.

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 13:50

I would go for fleece too!

Its on my profile here tree!! Will add to fb!

newspaperdelivery · 13/10/2009 13:55

Octothechildherder · 13/10/2009 13:58

hmmm tricky then - would you like to borrow some micro or softee ones to try? Have trial kit ones - the softee is super soft next to the skin - what weight?
